The People's Park in the Sky, often simply called People's Park and originally named Palace in the Sky, is a historical urban park in Tagaytay, Cavite, Philippines. The park was converted from an incomplete mansion, known as the palace in the sky. It was built during the Marcos era to host the visit of US President Ronald Reagan. Work stopped when Reagan canceled his visit. The incomplete scaffolding of the mansion remained intact. More of the history of this park can be found here -

Tagaytay is the second coolest city in the Philippines.
I like to come back here because of its breathtaking view and fresh air.
Today Sunday Oct 20,2019 my sister and her family visit us and we had schedule of no power all day so we decided to visit tagaytay and have fun on our trip.
We use the backroad going to tagaytay from Talisay Batangas because its much shorter travel and we live in Lipa and less traffic.

Tagaytay can be considered as the second summer capital on the Philippines. Being only a few hours away, it is easily accessible for those who want a quick getaway from the city.
In this video, I visited a popular Tagaytay tourist spot, People's Park in the Sky and Sky Ranch.

Peoples Park In The Sky, Tagaytay, Philippines.
The People's Park in the sky in Tagaytay is a crumbling incomplete mansion on Mt. Gonzales near the vacation paradise of Tagaytay in Cavite.
The mansion was originally called the palace in the sky and construction began in 1981. The mansion was never finished and today it is a tourist attraction mostly because of the stunning views. On one side you can see the Taal volcanic lake and on the other you can see all the way to Manila.

People's Park or Palace In The Sky is known to be an old abandoned presidential mansion. It was originally built to greet a USA president ( I think it was Reagan ) but they stop building it when they learned he was no longer coming to visit. Now it is used as a sort of park for the locals and tourists. The views from the building are really amazing and the design of the place made me feel like I wanted to buy it myself. With jokes aside I can safely say this is another trending destination to visit. Its located in Tagaytay with other amazing attractions like Sky Ranch, Taal Volcano and more!
