NOLA Doughnuts Lake Oswego, Oregon
The stop on 3/31/2016 of our Portland, Oregon trip. My young brother said this place is way better than VooDoo Doughnuts and I think he was right because we went back again.
NOLA Doughnuts is just outside of Portland in Lake Oswego. They are New Orleans style and their doughnuts are more like cronuts or dossaints. Many layers, crispy and apparently they take several days for the dough to be just right. Definitely a go to.

*Future Is Ours
The future is bright, especially when you mention west coast dance crew F.I.O. On point choreography and pin point moves, impressing audiences from coast to coast. These young men are here to inspire others and express their passion for life as they innovate and push the envelope of stardom. Amazin Ent is proud to have them in the family as they see their dreams come true.
Nitewing- This video means more then the project and sponsor to me. By the video, it shows are passion, where we started, and the original drive making each of us better. To me it's a rehearsal film, in are element. Seems to be cameras recording though, cant stay to long.

Lakeridge Amazing Pace Day 4
On day 4 of the Amazing Pace, we were down to 4 teams. They competed in a food relay that challenged them physically and mentally. They had to slide a cookie from their forehead to their mouth, eat 8 saltine crackers, stack 4 apples, organize m&ms, eat spicy peppers, down a bottle of gatorade, and finish a sudoku puzzle. Once the puzzle was over, it was a mad dash to the finish line where we announced the 3 teams moving on to the event on Friday.

A Call To Farms - part 1
Knowledge about even basic farming may not be so intuitive to the average mind. Not everyone can be raised as a farmer. Not everyone has a library available, YouTube or even the Internet. Thats right, scores of millions of people have never even seen a YouTube video, yet a farming or prepping video. What can we do about it? Sharing the knowledge that people can have available with or without the internet- such as during a collapse or shtf situation. Awaken your dormant vestige DNA of growing abilities for some real flower power while you fight the apathetic, if not evil, dumb-down world system. If you send me some important farming info, I will post the links below. If possible, DOWNLOAD as much from the internet now and store it on something like memory sticks (usb data drives), hard-drives (removeable and internal), DVD's, and CD's, and make a backup also for yourself and perhaps to share with those in need.
In a disaster scenario, including war, a three day supply of food storage is minimal at best. Once that is all gone, you will have to grow your own, and how will you do that?
Perhaps growing just one or two items could sometimes be more efficient and productive when a commuinty of other growers is available.
This video is mainly about (plant) agriculture, and not (animal) livestock since I feel that the infrastructure (cost, energy, time, land, medicines, vetrinarians, food, supplies, etc) is just not there and too costly for most people to do by themselves, hence veganism (like it or not) seems more economical if not more healthy. Even hunting for what meat hasn't already been eaten during a shtf senario is not such a good idea maby. You and/or the animals could become extinct, and you wouln't be there to help your family farm.
Here are some farming knowledge links, if you know of any, send me a message or comment. If you don't know any, then atleast put this in your favorites/playlist for others as a form of active participation. If you have alot of subscribers and maby a website, then perhaps make a similar type of video. Some links I post will be (generic type of) videos about a specific topic. Check out my food backup and other relavant playlists of videos from other YouTube people.
For raised bed gardens, be careful with plants that are vines (squash, cucumbers, pumkins, watermellons, etc) since these will most likely cause overcrowding and (too much) shade problems for other varioius plants. Perhaps do these in a seperate raised bed garden.

Seed Collecting/Harvesting:
------------
Buy, store and trade seeds. Try to get the heirloom or non-terminator seeds since terminator seeds usually won't produce further seed generations that you can later use. For northern climates/states I think apple and pear tree varieties is a good choice of fruit that seems to grow just about anyplace. The Native American Indians knew where every available fruit tree and berry shrub was in their area.
Since it's difficult to do this all on your own without any help, another good thing you can do is germinate and grow seedlings, then you can either trade, sell, or give these away to others, and maby they will offer some of the produce back to you as a kind gesture. Have you also seen the price per pound of something like bell peppers at nearly $2 for the non-green colored varieties. Well, it's getting to the point where you are effectively being forced to grow your own (just like with the efficient green energy systems) in order to break-even or save some money for other things. Nontheless, your produce will be fresher atleast, and it will not have to be shipped hundreds of miles; hence saving energy, limiting pollution and available when needed.

Katie wrestling @ 126lb. vs freshman Alex Rich of Crescent Valley. This kid will be in the state finals this year - my prediction, might just win it too. Hood River won the dual 51-30, Katie was lucky enough to get, in my opinion, their best wrestler. Our 220 lb. Juan Carlos Hernandez beat their #1 state ranked Austin Powell 4-0. Way to go SHREK!!

Homemade Gyro Meat
Γύρος
Get the tzatziki sauce recipe here:
Buy the loaf pan here:
Get this recipe on my website:
Makes 6-8 servings:
1 medium onion, quartered
1 pound ground lamb
1 pound ground beef
4-5 garlic cloves
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon cumin powder
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
Equipment: 9 x 5 inch loaf pan
For the Sandwiches:
Pita bread
Onion slices
Tomato slices
Tzaztiki Sauce
Lettuce
Crumbled feta cheese
Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit, 163 degrees Celsius.
Place the garlic cloves in a food processor and pulse until very finely chopped.
Add onion and puree until smooth.
Add ground beef with all of the spices. Pulse until the mixture becomes like a paste. Scrape down the sides of the bowl in between pulses.
Place the mixture in a loaf pan. Compact it as much as possible.
Bake for 45 minutes till 1 hour.
Allow the pan to cool at room temperature completely. Refrigerate at least 2 hours before removing from the pan.
Remove from pan onto a cutting board. Using a sharp serrated knife, slice it thinly. Pour all of the pan juices over the slices along with any of the fat that has gelatinized. It adds so much flavor when heating it up for the sandwiches.
At this point the gyro slices can be placed in a freezer safe bag and frozen for future use.
To make the Gyro sandwiches, place a cast iron pan over medium heat and cook the gyro slices until they are browned on both sides.
Warm the pita bread slightly. Place some chopped lettuce, onion and tomato slices over the pita, the warm gyro slices and tzatziki sauce with crumbled feta. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
