Salmon found swimming in golf bunker after Storm Desmond - Daily Mail
Workers at a golf club were shocked to find a live salmon swimming around in a bunker in the aftermath of Storm Desmond this week. Staff had to launch a rescue mission when they realised the fish was stuck in a puddle left by the stormy weather, unable to return to the rivier where it had come from. A team of five people took several attempts to remove the salmon from its new home at Peterculter Golf Club near Aberdeen and take it back to the River Dee.

VSA's Great Gatsby themed ball held on Saturday 2nd November 2013 raised a staggering £120,000 supporting VSA's Linn Moor School.
Aberdeen's largest social care charity, VSA hosted their annual fundraising ball at the Ardoe House Hotel with over 300 guests enjoying dinner and dancing while raising money to support children of the North East with Autism and learning disabilities.
