Phrae
Phrae is surrounded by mountain ranges. The highest mountain is Doi Ku Sathan, or as some people call it Doi Thong. The Yom River, originating from the Phi Pan Nam Range, is the most important river of Phrae. Phrae is a historical town that has a prosperous past. There is a legend about Phra Lo being born here, and when thinking about Phrae, think of teak, mohom shirts and the wonders of nature at Phae Mueang Phi.

Kad Muang Phi
It is located in Baan Sai Kao Village, Si Dong Yen Sub-District, Chai Prakarn District where is located about 5 kilometers from the district. Kad Muang Phi is a Lanna word which means 'spiritual market'. The forest around the site looks like Phae Muang Phi in Phrae and due to the spiritual legend, the site was said to be the place of ghosts. Legend said that there was a villager misguided the forest and found the vivid market in the middle of this forest. He bought many things from the market. When he returned to his hometown, he found that the things he bought were only leaves and stones.
