This week we explore Grand Teton National Park, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, and the town of Jackson, all incredibly nice places in their own right. This trip showcases what you can experience over the course of a summer week out in Teton Country. The town, the people, and the rugged mountain range will all make you feel like you're part of the Wild West!

While we mostly focus on hiking in the National Park, the list of outdoor recreation options here is endless, from hiking, backpacking, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, to skiing in the winter at the ski resort or in the backcountry. These mountains can provide one of the purest alpine experiences in the United States.
We'll definitely be back.

AMAZING Day at Grand Teton National Park | Receiving Mail on the Road
We decided to do a one day trip to visit Grand Teton National Park and Jackson Hole, Wyoming while we were staying at Henry's Lake State Park. We were going to camp near the Tetons for a few days, but since we would be heading to Glacier National Park next, it didn't make sense to tow the trailer south and then backtrack north again.
While we had incredible weather and a perfect day exploring, we definitely could have spent a lot longer there. This is one of our favorite National Parks that we've seen yet. It's absolutely stunning!
We also had to pick up some mail from the UPS store which we had our parents ship to us. We have found that all UPS stores charge different prices to hold your packages - anywhere from $5-$10 per package. This time it cost us $25 which was a little tough to swallow! We haven't found a better solution yet, though, since we are always on the move.

We spotted this Moose in the Moose Pond during our hike to Jenny Lake in Wyoming. This was such beautiful country, it was a truly remarkable hike. We saw the moose, a waterfall, mountains, forest, and got to ride a boat back across the lake after our hike!

Grand Teton National Park - Park Travel Review
We had four days in Grand Teton National Park. We camped in our Forest River A-Frame travel trailer we call Alf. We got an electric site in Gros Ventre Campground. It was a nice campground with flush toilets, but no shower houses. Sites are on a first come; first served basis. The campground is large and rarely is completely full.
Our first full day, we visited Jackson Lake Lodge, hike at Two Oceans Lake and Leigh Lake. From the NPS Site: The Jackson Lake Lodge was listed in the National Register of Historic Places as an historic district in 2002 and was declared a National Historic Landmark in 2005.
We had a great time hike and exploring in Grand Teton National Park.
