Phuket: Thailand Travel and Tour Guide
Press play on our video about Thailand travel to get to know Phuket, the country’s largest island.
Explore with us as we take on this enchanting paradise, which dazzles with emerald water and soft sand. Teeming with deserted beaches and intriguing culture, Phuket belongs at the top of your travel itinerary.
The beaches are certainly the main attraction, and as soon as you catch a glimpse of the shore, you’ll understand why. Whether you’re in the mood for snorkeling off the coast or simply worshipping the sun from the shore, this is the place to do it. Stick to the tourist favorites, including Patong, Kata, and Banana Beach, or hop in a long-tail boat to cruise to the other nearby islands. You’ll find crowded shores with a nightlife scene in beach towns like Patong, but also set aside time to escape to more secluded stretches such as Paradise Beach and Laem Singh Beach.
Make time for some peace and quiet during your Phuket adventure. This island takes great pride in its religion and history, and the temples are a great place to get a sense of the region’s spirituality. With 29 Buddhist temples scattered around the island, you have plenty to choose from. Search for the massive golden Buddha statue at Wat Khao Rang, or venture over to Wat Srisoonthorn to see the sleeping Buddha. From the Phuket Big Buddha to the Wat Phra Thong, you’ll get your fair share of serenity while you’re in town.
If you’re ready to make some noise after visiting the silent temples, discover Phuket nightlife. Tourists tend to flock to Bangla Road in Patong, where the party never stops. From night markets to gogo bars, you’ll find entertainment at every hour in this vibrant part of town. Prefer to catch some elaborate performances instead? The dazzling Phuket FantaSea is certainly one of the best things to do in Phuket, as it boasts trapeze artists, carnival rides, and stage productions. Dubbed a cultural theme park, FantaSea offers everything, including restaurants, shops, arcades, and theater shows.
Take a dip in the inviting waters or join one of the Phuket tours. Whether your idea of a vacation is getting a little R&R at the seaside or dabbling in the region’s culture, you can do both—and more—on your next trip to this picturesque island.

Twinpalms Phuket Resort 4k | Surin Beach, Thailand | Top things to do in Phuket | Phuket Resort
Twinpalms Phuket Resort is situated on the West Coast of Thailand in the Andaman sea. This review also covers some of the top things to do in Phuket no matter where on the island you are. Across the street from Surin beach, Twinpalms Phuket Resort is just a 30-minute cab or shuttle ride from the Phuket International Airport with fares of around $25-30 one-way.
#Phuket #TwinPalmsPhuketResort #Thailand
Upon arrival at Twinpalms Phuket Resort, you will be greeted with a welcome drink and lemon-scented hand towels to help you cool down. After a quick check-in and overview of the amenities, you’ll be walked to your room.
All rooms at Twinpalms Resort come with a balcony or covered porch. But if you can, most ground level rooms come with a retractable sliding door that provides access to a private swimming area. It the perfect retreat to enjoy a meal or drink before or after a quick dip. If you are looking to grab your own drinks to either take with you to the beach or just sip around the resort, there is a convenience store a few doors down that sells beer, wine, and liquor.
Twinpalms Phuket Resort also offers many other amenities, such as a couple clothing stores, an on-site restaurant, as well as a gym and spa. They can also support in booking any excursions.
Directly across from the resort is Surin beach. Great for catching some sun or swimming. The water can get quite rough, but there are lifeguards on duty usually to monitor swimmers. They also have warning signs planted if the water is too dangerous for swimming at Surin Beach.
Another amenity of Twinpalms Phuket Resort is access to Catch Beach Club located on Bang Tao beach. It has a full bar and restaurants, along with beach chairs and water sports equipment that you can rent. They also have cabanas that can be rented. The resort offers a free shuttle to and from that leaves on the hour, otherwise, it's about a 20-minute walk from Catch Beach Club back to Twinpalms Phuket Resort.
Just down from Catch Beach Club is the Palm Seaside bar and restaurant which is a perfect place for some fine dining if you are looking for a nice place to dine or evening drinks.

Top Things to do in Phuket
If you are looking for some activities away from Twinpalms, one of the top things to do in Phuket would be taking a day trip to Koh Phi Phi Le (Phi Phi Island). Ferries take about an hour and a half to get to Phi Phi Island and leave the Rassada Pier in Phuket Town at 8:30 or 10:30am.
Phi Phi Island Video:
Once to Phi Phi Island, many people want to venture to Maya Bay and Pileh Bay, which was made famous in “The Beach” starring Leonardo DiCaprio. You can rent a longtail boat for the day for around 2,000 Baht which will take you out to Maya Bay to enjoy some snorkeling and swimming.
Another top thing to do in Phuket would be taking an hour or so drive up to Phang-nga National Park and taking a boat tour, which includes James Bond island and the floating village of Koh Panyi.
Lastly, you can choose to head up to the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary. Once to the Elephant Sanctuary, you will prepare bananas to feed to the elephants and shortly afterward bathing the elephants in mud water.
Hope this video helps in planning your next trip to Phuket. We highly recommend the Twimpalms Phuket Resort and would absolutely stay there again.

A Snap Shot of Phuket (Is it worth visiting?)
Phuket in Thailand is one of Thailands biggest and best islands for anyone looking for adventure and fun. We only spent a week here relaxing on the beach, surfing, eating, and finding out what Phuket Thailand has to offer.
So much to do on this Thailand Island, so 1 week will not be enough.
Visit link for amazing things to do on Phuket:
Patong Beach is one of the more popular beaches and is very central for exploring the island.
Our kids loved the area and so might you! Thailand travel would not be complete without visiting Phuket and it's surrounding islands.
Hope this video gives you a little idea what Phuket and Patong area looks like.
Post Phuket Tsunami but there are still some old buildings which were affected still standing to remind you of the past.
Hope you enjoy this short video.
Thanks,
Gadsventure team.

Ko Phi Phi Le Island, Thailand | Phi Phi Island, Maya Bay, Pileh Lagoon, Viking Cave | Phuket, Krabi
This review is for those travelers looking to check out Ko Phi Phi Le (including Maya Bay and Pileh Lagoon), just outside Phi Phi Island in Thailand. We traveled there while we were staying in Phuket, but there are a few routes that can be taken to get there as well from Krabi or other local places.
*Watch out full Thailand vacation video here:
You can only get to Phi Phi Island by boat. Coming from Phuket, it's around 1000 Baht for a roundtrip ticket and about a 1 ½ to 2 hour boat ride to Phi Phi. Boats leave only a few times throughout the day with the earliest ferry leaving Phuket at 8:30am and heading back from Phi Phi at 2:30pm so if you are making a day trip there without staying the night, you will have only around 4-5 hours at most on the Island.
On the boat over there are food and drink available for purchase (including local beers). Cash only. The boat has seating up on the top deck which is open, or on the middle and lower levels which are covered. Getting to the dock earlier will ensure that you get a good seat.
While there are many things to do on Phi Phi, many choose to venture to Ko Phi Phi Lee. You can do a group tour via speed boat, which is typically with 20-30 other people, not very fun. Or you can get a more authentic and private tour on a longtail boat. Upon arrival in Phi Phi, you’ll be met by several longtail boat drivers willing to take you to the island for around 2000 Baht. Definitely worth the extra money. We went with a group of 4 of us and there was plenty of room, they stop where you want to and its so much more enjoyable than a speed boat.
*If you have back problems or get motion sickness, the longtail boats can be difficult when the waters are rough being very bumpy.
Its a nice ride over to Ko Phi Phi Le, about 20-30 minutes. The popular things to do once Ko Phi Phi Le is to visit Maya Bay, which was made famous by Leonardo DiCaprio in the movie The Beach. We recommend going early in the morning to beat the crowds otherwise it'll be way overcrowded with hundreds of other people. If you choose to stop at Maya Bay beach, there is a 400 Baht entrance fee to get onto the beach.
The next stop we recommend is at Pileh lagoon which is very scenic and a bit more low key compared to Maya bay while allows for a more privacy and seclusion. Our longtail boat driver pulled into a small beach area where we were the only ones for about 30 minutes where we were able to enjoy snorkeling and swimming in the gorgeous waters of the Lagoon.
The trip back to Phi Phi Island is very scenic as you will be passing several great photo opportunities, coves and Pirate Cave which is popular with the tourists.
Once back on Phi Phi Island, you probably only have a short amount of time left before the ferry departs (probably less than an hour). Use this time to explore the local shops and restaurants or head to the other side of Phi Phi Island to Loh Delum Beach to relax before boarding the ferry back to Phuket. You can walk at least 100 years at Loh Delum beach and still be able to stand.
Hope this video helps plan your next trip to Phi Phi Island/Ko Phi Phi Le Island. Don't forget hit subscribe and thanks for watching.

Amazing Ao Phang Nga - A Thailand Travel Video

We were staying in Phuket recently and looking for some adventure when we stumbled on this amazing place. We had heard of the James Bond Island — it's hard not to, they advertise it all over Phuket — but we didn't want to go with a big tour group. So, we rented a car, quickly learned how to drive on the left side of the road, and set off at six o'clock in the morning to the amazing Ao Phang Nga National Park, home to the archipelago that hosts the James Bond island and hundreds of others.
We didn't know what to expect after the hour long drive, but we brought along our cameras, a mavic pro and good attitudes and we hoped to make the most of it. We went straight for the national park visitor center after a quick shoot by a beautiful inland rock formation. Across the way there was a line of longtail boats waiting to be hired. We booked out one of the boats and a driver for an entire day — which cost only about $60.00, U.S. — and grabbed some local beers for the ride.
We never actually made it to the big tourist sites, because they were overcrowded and, honestly, we didn't have much interest. The entire area is scattered with similar rock formations, so, we anchored up to one without any other boats nearby and cut off our own little slice of paradise for a few hours.
One of the major highlights while cruising back to the Ao Phang Nga National Park visitor center was stopping by Koh Panyi, a small, stilted muslim community residing in the middle of the bay on a secluded island. Most tour boats stop here early in the day, so we really had the place to ourselves — among the 1,685 friendly residents that live there full-time. It was the perfect end to a day that had little expectations. When we go back, we won't be doing it any differently.
If you want to discuss our experience at this beautiful destination in more detail, feel free to reach out! We're happy to chat.
Must-Do Family Activities in Phuket
The secret to Phuket's bustling travel scene lies in its magnificent pristine palm-fringed beaches and bays that overlook glistening azure waters - no wonder then that it is affectionately known as the 'Pearl of the Andaman’. Venture into uncharted waters with snorkelling escapades, get your muscles stretched at swanky spa sessions, sip local cocktails at sundown, or sizzle in the sun by Phuket's secret hideaway beaches with your little one.
PHUKET PATONG NIGHTLIFE???? CLUB AND NIGHTLIFE OF THAILAND
Bangla Road is the most popular area of nightlife for Phuket, which is the well-known city for vacation/holiday destination of Thailand. It's a great place for bar hopping, with many regular and fancy bars, beer bars, gogo bars, live music bars and nightclubs all on one street. However, you can see mostly tourists on this Bangla Road. It's a perfect place crazy night out activity in Phuket, great place to party, you can also go down to Patong beach for some cool breeze. The bars and clubs give a good mix of music. The drinks are mostly cheap. We highly rexommend this place for some crazy experience but not really for daily venture in Phuket, depend also on your lifestyle.
