Luthersville is a city in Meriwether County, Georgia, United States.
Located one hour South of Atlanta just off Interstate 85, Luthersville is a charming example of rural Georgia downtowns. With great Southern restaurants, historic homes, and antique shopping, Luthersville is a taste of true Georgia.

Beautiful Vintage Haughton Hydraulic Elevator @ Lake Plains Medical Center in Albion NY
Finally got this on film with my new camera. Amazing old Haughton elevators at Lake Plains Medical Center in Albion NY. Walked over to film the elevators while I was waiting for the local to return westbound with 1802.

Otis Lexan Traction Elevator at 1st National Bank Building, Dodge City, KS

9. Assia Wevill: The Oven Suicides, Part 2
In 1969, Assia Wevill–hailed as a great beauty and advertising talent–bizarrely committed suicide in the same manner as her paramour’s wife six years earlier. To add to the tragedy, she killed her 4-year-old daughter, Shura. This is the story of a woman tormented by the dead poet Sylvia Plath, the refusal of Sylvia’s husband Ted to commit to her even after he fathered her child, and the memory of her narrow escape from Hitler and the Holocaust.

From Oxus to Euphrates: Sasanian Empire Symposium
Several experts participated in an all-day symposium on the legacy of the ancient Persian Sasanian empire (224-651 A.D.). The Sasanians ruled a large empire in Central and Western Asia, stretching from the Oxus River to the Euphrates and from the Hindukush to Eastern Arabia, for over 400 years (224-651 B.C.). Known as Iranshahr (the Domain of Iran), it was a powerful empire that engendered much of what came to be known as the Iranian culture in the medieval and modern periods.
