Lackawanna Cut-Off - Part 5: Johnsonburg NJ
This video is about Johnsonburg (Frelinghuysen Township in Warren County NJ) on the Lackawanna Cut-Off, and includes eyewitness accounts by Mr. Gerald Chrusz, who worked for the Erie Lackawanna and who is the owner of the Johnsonburg General Store, out of which he arranged for shipments of farm goods to arrive on the Lackawanna Cut-Off up until the end of Conrail rail service on the line. We'll also visit the station site and Armsrong Cut, the site of a large landslide in 1941. Finally, we'll visit a farm through which the Cut-Off ran and a poignant story about how one supporter of the Cut-Off became a supporter. Filmed on December 30 and 31, 2016. FCC Chair: Net Neutrality Fears Debunked, Yoda & A 5G Future | Ajit Pai | POLITICS | Rubin Report
Dave Rubin of The Rubin Report talks to FCC Chairman Ajit Pai about his role in leading the FCC. So what exactly is net neutrality? When will 5G networks be available in the USA? Does Yoda really influence his regulatory decisions? Ajit answers these questions and breaks down what the FCC does, and how his trust of markets guides his decision making process. He explains how markets have been proven to be the best course for tech and his bigger concern is that rules are too burdensome and that they stifle innovation and competition. Ajit explains what net neutrality is and why he did away with net neutrality rules that had been in place three years prior to his decision. Ajit discusses why he thinks a lot of the public and media were in hysterics over the impending repeal of net neutrality and what misunderstandings led to this reaction. He also shares some of his favorite net neutrality doomsday predictions. Will it cost $5 per Tweet? Is it the end of the internet? Will armageddon ensue? It’s been over a year since net neutrality was repealed… and nothing much changed. Chairman Pai also explains why 5G networks are going to increase broadband speeds and help bridge the digital divide as well as the FCC’s role in regulating space. He also gives his thoughts on the publisher vs. platform debate, if the government is even capable of regulating Big Tech, and much more.

Fracking explained: opportunity or danger
Fracking explained in five minutes.
Fracking is a controversial topic. On the one side the gas drilling companies, on the other citizen opposed to this drilling method. Politicians are also divided on the matter.
We try to take a neutral look on fracking. It is relevant for all of us, because of high prices for energy and the danger for our drinking water.
This video focuses mostly on the debate currently ongoing in europe. In a lot of european countries there is a public outcry against fracking, espacially in germany. But the facts in this video are relevant to all of us.
Short videos, explaining things. For example Evolution, the Universe, Stock Market or controversial topics like Fracking. Because we love science.
We would love to interact more with you, our viewers to figure out what topics you want to see. If you have a suggestion for future videos or feedback, drop us a line! :)

After a few decades of being obsessed with collecting survival and primitive skills techniques, I am putting out these videos to demonstrate the skills and excursions found at my school, Wild Survival (wildsurvivalskills.com). Videos are focused on primitive skills, rewilding, tracking and nature awareness, living off the land, off grid living, indigenous skills, shelter building, primitive fire, water purification, trapping, hunting, bow making, flint knapping, primitive pottery, basketry, edible and medicinal plant preparation and numerous indigenous skills.
I began studying wilderness survival when I was 17 in order to have the ability to spend extensive periods of time in nature, seeking out empowerment without the need for external sources. I began studying in 1993 under Tom Brown Jr eventually teaching for Tracker Inc. I sought-out every old Native American teacher I could and eventually traveled the world living in very remote indigenous villages in the Amazon, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia and Peru. My school teaches survival and primitive skills, nature awareness, how to live off the land, re-wilding and how to prepare for disasters. I strongly believe that experiencing survival living changes the way people approach their entire lives.
Thorium.
Thorium is an abundant material which can be transformed into massive quantities of energy. To do so efficiently requires a very different nuclear reactor than the kind we use today- Not one that uses solid fuel rods, but a reactor in which the fuel is kept in a liquid state. Not one that uses pressurized water as a coolant, but a reactor that uses chemically stable molten salts.
Such a reactor is called a Molten Salt Reactor. Many different configurations are possible. Some of these configurations can harness Thorium very efficiently.
This video explores the attributes of Molten Salt Reactors. Why are they compelling? And why do many people (including myself) see them as the only economical way of fully harnessing ALL our nuclear fuels... including Thorium.
This video has been under development since 2012. I hope it conveys to you why I personally find Molten Salt Reactors so compelling, as do the many volunteers and supporters who helped create it. Much of the footage was shot by volunteers.
