Hello everyone...
Big Foot Beach State Park is a state park of Wisconsin, United States, on Geneva Lake. The park is used primarily for swimming, camping, and fishing.
The beach and park are named for Chief Big Foot (a translation from the Potawatomi Maumksuck (Mmangzed), also known in French as Gros Pied), an early Potawatomi leader in the area until forcibly relocated in 1836. Big Foot Lake was the original English name of Geneva Lake.

Native American Pow Wows | Discover Wisconsin
There are over a half million acres of land to discover in the eleven sovereign nations in Wisconsin, we're even heading out onto the largest of the Great Lakes to see how the Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa got their name. We'll also visit the biggest Pow Wow in North America for more about the Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Ojibwe, and we'll learn how Wisconsin's tribal lands are being preserved and restored to ensure the future of the resources.

Milwaukee, USA: In Motion!
We spent five days in Milwaukee in May 2016, and were completely (and very pleasantly) surprised by how cool Milwaukee is!
If we had to come up with one word to describe Milwaukee, it'd definitely be entrepreneurial. We met a lot of small business owners who are changing the face of the city, and we also learned about the big Milwaukeean dynasties like Pabst and Miller that built the city in centuries past.
In this video, the locations you see are as follows:
The Milwaukee River and riverfront/riverwalk in downtown -- on weekend evenings, Milwaukeeans jump on their boats and cruise up and down the river. We grabbed a beer at Rock Bottom Brewery and watched it all happen!
A view of downtown Milwaukee as seen from the 6th Street Viaduct. In the bottom left-hand of the shot, you can see the Harley-Davidson Museum, which is a cool thing to do in Milwaukee, even if you don't like motorcycles. We also suggest you stop by the Great Lakes Distillery, for drinks and a tour near the viaduct, and the Iron Horse hotel for food!
The historical-looking building is Milwaukee's City Hall, and the really cool-looking modern building is the Art Gallery.
Around 0:22, you'll see Old World Third Street. It's the historical German area of town, and even today there are many German restaurants and artisan food producers that have been operating in the same spot for more than 100 years! We took a food tour with Milwaukee Food Tours, and learned all about the German influence on Milwaukee.
Milwaukee is synonymous with BEER, and one of the best things to do in Milwaukee is to go on a brewery tour. We went on the Miller tour, which was FREE and included samples. We also went on the Lakefront Brewery Tour - one of the best (and funniest) in the country. The Lakefront tour charges, but is very worthwhile, and includes free samples, a free gift, and some hilarious memories!

The hotel at the end is the Potawatomi Hotel & Casino, where we were hosted. The hotel is quite new, and was built for visitors to the city, and visitors to the casino. It's really well located for visiting the Harley Museum...only a short walk away.

The Potawatomi Trails Pow Wow Committee
is a not for profit educational group located in Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. The committee plans and hosts a pow-wow in Illinois, as well as many other community and Native American events. The goals of the committee are these:
To educate about Native American Cultures without the influence of other organizations and free of political affiliations.
To locate, document, and protect historical Native American sites located in and around our communities.
To preserve traditional teachings and values for the youth of our communities.
What Is A Pow-Wow?
A pow-wow is a planned social event and gathering of Native American people. It is a celebration to mark the end of a season and to welcome the beginning of a new one. It is a time and place to thank the Great Spirit for the good events of the past season and to ask continuance of these into the next. A good time is enjoyed by all. A time and place to meet old friends and make new ones. Awards and recognitions are given to the deserving. Gifts are given. Honor songs are sung. It’s a time to show-off the new dance outfits. Pow-wow times give us the chance to celebrate and reflect on Native American Heritage.
Who Participates At A Pow-Wow?
Everyone! The public is welcome. There are no spectators. When the MC announces an “inter-tribal” song everyone is welcome to dance if they choose to. Just browsing the trader booths or talking to people makes you part of the celebration.
Why Is This Called “Potawatomi Trails Pow-Wow”?
The Potawatomi Trails were established by the Native Americans who lived in this area and marked their footpaths to indicate directions. Small oak saplings were bent and tied into knots as signs to show the correct direction to travel. This pow-wow honors these people and their descendants who left these markers behind. Modern day Sheridan Road and Green Bay Road in Lake County, Illinois were built following these trails.

Saxon falls is located between Michigan's UP and Wisconsin's border.from border on US to go West about 9 miles to Wisconsin's County Rd B and go north about 2 miles to saton falls rd 1/2 mile to power house parking. Falls are just upstream from the powerhouse looks almost impossible to get down there from here so we flew the drone to view. Viewing is possible behind a fence that over looks the falls 100' down
