ABOUT THE GROUP HILT black light theatre
Black light theatre is special kind of theatre based in Czech republic (Prague).
All the performance is about magic. Actors and everything around them is flying, appearing and disappearing and breaking physical rules.
This we make with our special theatre technic based on „UV effect“, dark, special colors and „black actors
Our group have grown up from blacklight artists with experiences from all theatres in Prague. Idea was to put all the powers together and use our different experiences in one group all together.
We have experiences with making blacklight performances all over the world (Slovakia, Poland, Ecuador, Malta, India, Greece, Germany).
Independent blacklight theatre group H.I.L.T. was growing up for years. All the actors around this group worked for years in blacklight projects all over the Prague, that is the home place of this theatre style.
Its members experiences are not only in Prague, but much around all countries all over the world. Blacklight theatre is Czech speciality often invited by foreign countries what gave us experiences with work in different theatre conditions and cultures.
Everything has started years ago with small projects. All of us worked for different show in Prague but our connection was everytime stronger. One day we have decided to built the group. My idea was existing for years, now it has started to come true. I still see the table in Prague´s restaurant „Václavka“, me sitting alone there with a paper in front of me that was empty and in few hours full of ideas about new show. It was summer 2006.
Before the show was ready, we were invited by India´s part of agency Ogilvy to perform in New Delhi their promotion evening for Motorola. Few weeks we have worked on their script and in August 2007 our group first time appeared on the stage as H.I.L.T.
After I came back from Ecuador (South America) with other theatre production and the rest of H.I.L.T. has arrived from New Delhi we have started to work on the new show. DRB – Czech theatre production was interested to take my show into their repertoire. As this is theatre of Czech legend actor, we had to perform the show under the name DRB and show was called Magic Light Show.
10.1. 2009 we had the world premiere of blacklight theatre The Painted World – during festival Bharat Rang Mahotsav in India / New Delhi, Czech premiere of this show was on 19th March in Ostrava.
Since I know black light theatre my life has changed into the magic that it gives... Theodor

Prague, CZ - a cinematic roadtrip | Panasonic GH5S
Just a few days after I got my GH5S last summer I took a trip to the beautiful city of Prague, Czech Republic. On our way there we also stopped in Karlovy Vary (Carlsbad) and Mariánské Lázně (Marienbad).
Originally, I just wanted to play around with the new camera, that's why the footage just sat on my hard drive taking space - until now.

A Broad's Way Production's DOKOLA; a Prague Adaptation of La Ronde [Full-Length]
A Broad's Way Productions and Prague Film & Theater Center are proud to present their production of 'Dokola', a collaborative, adaptation of Arthur Schnitzler's, La Ronde.
Dokola is an intimate tale of connection (and disconnection) surrounding the intertwined sexual relationships of ten archetypal characters living in 2012 Prague. Dokola,a highly unique and fresh production, which effortlessly marries theatre, film, dance and original music to explore these ten diverse relationships.
A Broad's Way Productions, a company driven to produce original, multi-disciplinary theatre, has assembled an international writing team to update the famous script, choreographer Dagmar Spain (born in the Czech Republic and trained in Germany & New York) to help artistically embody the ten dynamic relationships, Jan Fisher (violinist with the popular Czech band 'Zrni') to compose an original music score, and Prague Film School filmmaker, Linus Ignatius, to incorporate elements of film in this colourful round. All of these different elements will be brought together by A Broad Way's Director, Jay DeYonker.
Producer, Lindsay Taylor, says of the production's current progress it has been a truly rewarding experience to watch so many talented people, for whom you have the utmost creative respect, band together in such a collaborative and cooperative way to shape this provocative and introspective project... Prague style. The passion for this project is contagious and our professional commitment and mutual respect for each other is its lifeblood.
The adapted play follows ten dynamic characters on a cyclical journey through the gritty, sometimes awkward, and revealing conversations people have with their sexual partners behind closed doors. When director Jay DeYonker of New Jersey, was asked about the show's content and the company's choice to update the infamous play he said, When 'La Ronde' was first conceived in 1897 it was banned for its raw content. With our adaptation, we have challenged ourselves to explore similarly controversial, yet highly relevant themes surrounding the sex lives of Prague's diverse community.
After a very successful premiere and run in May 2012, and in February 2013 for the final run with the original cast of actors and new dancers, we are proud to present our full-length recording.

From Charles Bridge, we follow Karlova, a narrow, winding street that leads directly to the Old Town Square, the oldest square in the historical center of the city. Snack and souvenir shops line the right side of the street. On the left is the Klementium, a university founded by the Jesuits and united with Charles University after the Counter-Reformation.
In the restaurant U Zlatého Hada, a restaurant with traditional Czech dishes, we enjoy a goulash with Bohemian dumplings.
The architecture of the houses in the old town is characterized by the Gothic and Baroque, but there are also a few from the Romantic period.
Shortly after, we reach times Male Namesti, the former pharmacist square. Up to the 14th century, many pharmacies were here. Also one of the most renowned pharmacies of the town had settled here.
From here it is only a few steps to the old town hall with the famous Prague Astronomical Clock, the Prague Orloj.
Right next to it is the Old Town Square with the massive Jan Hus monument in the middle. Hus ranks as a Czech national saint, who stood up for freedom of religion. He preached against the worldly possessions and greed of the church. Hus did not see the Pope but the Bible as a supreme authority. For his teachings, one burned him at the stake in Constance.
To this picturesque backdrop, we watch a pretty Asian bride and groom for a while, posing in front of a carriage
The Zelezná leads southeast. We follow it to the Karolinum, one of the headquarters of Charles University. The dark oriel of the chapel is striking. Next to it is the Estates Theater.
A small band of musicians probably invites you to a Don Giovanni show, which takes place here every day. Mozart stayed in Prague for a long time. He composed here, and Don Giovanni had its premiere in Prague

About the Interlude in Prague Trailer
Prague, 1786. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Aneurin Barnard) spends a few turbulent months escaping the frustrating, privileged elite of Vienna. However his unconventional presence soon unleashes a series of dramatic and tragic events. Overwhelmed by the tangled web of violence and intrigue that surrounds him and with his mind affected, Mozart creates the astonishing music and drama that becomes ‘Don Giovanni’.

The international premiere of a documentary dedicated to the late Czech architect Jan Kaplický, co-founder of London based internationally acclaimed practice Future Systems followed by a debate chaired by Deyan Sudjic, with Eva Jiřičná and other guests.
The film featuring Brian Clarke, Eva Jiřičná, Norman Foster, Zaha Hadid, Václav Havel and the team Future Systems tells the story of Kaplický's last grand design. The project for the National Library in Prague called the Eye over Prague is radical, exciting and far enough ahead of its time to provoke a fair degree of controversy. For Kaplický, a Czech-born émigré, it also represents a triumphant return to his homeland, a vindication of his uncompromisingly forward-looking philosophy and, eventually, a tragically poetic ending to his remarkable career. After winning the international competition chaired by Zaha Hadid, the popular and much supported design met opposition from the Czech government and the local administration and the fierce battle began.
(Olga Spátová, Czech Republic, 2010, 90').
A following debate, chaired by Deyan Sudjic with Eva Jiřičná and other guests will focus not only on Jan Kaplicky's work, but also on the process and struggles of architects to have their visionary and bold designs approved and built.
