One on americas greatest architect, Frank Lloyd Wrights only skyScraper stands here in Oklahoma. It is in downtown Bartlesville, Oklahoma. It was open to the public in February 1956. The Price Arts Center integrates history, Museum, Hotel, and a Bar. On March 29,th 2007 it was designated a National Historic Landmark.

The Price Tower Arts Center, housed in Frank Lloyd Wright's only fully realized skyscraper, offers outstanding collections and exhibitions of art, architecture and design. The Price Tower, considered to be one of the great buildings of the 20th century, was named a National Historic Landmark in 2007. Guided tours are available to the public. Hotel accommodations are available at the Inn at Price Tower and fine dining is also available at the Copper Bar.

Price Tower Arts Center invites guests to visit its current exhibition, Fellowship: 75 Years of Taliesin Box Projects. The exhibition features designs of apprentices of Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin Fellowship, which later became known as the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture. The exhibition continues through September 19, 2010 at Price Tower Arts Center located at 510 Dewey Avenue in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

Panoramic Maps, also known as Bird's Eye View, aerial view, or perspective maps. These were a popular form of art at the turn of the 20th century depicting a city's key points of interest.
Unlike traditional maps, Panoramic maps often highlighted the commercial aspects of a town, while also clearly showing many local residences.
I've had a lot fun looking up places I've been to on these maps -- and I've gotta say - It's amazing just how much things change -- and also how much things stay the same.

Wright speaks on the importance of corner windows as innovation, the destruction of the box, and the architecture of freedom and democracy as it relates to America.
This year Wisconsin is celebrating the 150 anniversary of Frank Lloyds Wright's birth with the opening of the FLW trail. Wright's home state of Wisconsin contains extraordinary works by Wright that are open to the public.
Frank Lloyd Wright's home Taliesin is open as are the Visitor Centre, Studios, School, Theatre and the Taliesin grounds. As well the amazing Johnson Wingspread home, the SC Johnson Administration Building, the SC Johnson Research Tower, and the Golden Rondelle Theatre are also open for tours.
Other extraordinary Frank Lloyd Wright buildings on the trail include; The First Unitarian Society Meeting House, Wyoming Valley School Cultural Arts Center, Monona Terrace in Madison, and more.
