Surfing San Sebastian and Biking the Basque Country
Day 3 (or is it Day 4?) of our Backroads trip. We wake up early for surf lessons with Pukas Surf Shop at Zurriola Beach in San Sebastian. We then drive across the border into France and have picnic lunch at the pelote court in the small town of Biriatou. After lunch we jump on the bikes and ride through the picturesque Basque countryside as we make our way to St. Jean de Luz.

This is the video of the 3º edition of the San Sebastian Single Fin Classic by Hawaii Donostia Surf Shops.
The Single Fin Classic is a classic longboarding competition in la Zurriola Beach(San Sebastian-Spain) and this year we have had the pleasure of having ones of the best surfers:Kai Ellice,Mathieu Marechal,Robbie Warden, Robin Kegel,Edouard Delpero,Jon Irigoyen...
The winner was Mathieu Marechal from France!!

This is our dos video diary for Andy & Ben Do... series 2. This time we've jetted over to Spain and Portugal and Ben & I are excited to be giving you behind the scenes updates of all the amazing stuff we've been doing.
We're on the road!! Sorry for the wait guys n girls but we've been eating and drinking way too much. After leaving Barcelona, we headed over to the Basque region which is like entering a new country. New language, no Spanish signs.... Crazy, beautiful, strong and lovely people. And ofcourse lovely food.
In this video you'll see our dismay at starting another day with alcohol, followed by surfing in the Atlantic at the famous Zarautz, courtesy of the boys at Pukas surf school / shop (legends!), and then the weirdest sport we've ever done - Rock Lifting. We worked up a thirst, ate a steak the size of a laptop, drank cider the local way, and then headed up a mountain to meet the legendary Karlos Arguinano and his amazing winery where we got our very own tour and got to sample the good stuff.

Part 2 has us learning how to make cider the old fashioned way and followed by an epic Pintos tour.

Zarauzko hondartza, 2.500 metroko luzerarekin, Gipuzkoako handiena eta diziplina anitzetako eremua da, era askotako jendea eta irudiak izaten dituena. Familiak, surflariak eta izadizaleak aldi berean elkartzen dira hareatza horretan, hiru gunetan banaturik: mendebaldeko muturrean, familiak eta bainu-hartzaileak; erdialdean, surflariak; eta ekialdeko muturrean, dunak, flora eta fauna mota ugariren bizilekua.
Surfistas en la playa de Zarautz. La playa de Zarautz es la más extensa de Gipuzkoa y sus 2.500 metros de extensión la convierten en un espacio multidisciplinar, con estampas y gentes diversas. Familias, surfistas y amantes de la naturaleza concurren al mismo tiempo en este arenal, repartidos en tres zonas: el extremo occidental, frecuentado por familias y bañistas; una parte central reservada a los surfistas y las dunas en el extremo oriental, que sirven de hábitat a numerosas especies de flora y fauna.
