Visitor are throwing rubbish to the Giant Panda Qin Qin and he look skinny..
A 17-year old panda Qin Qin (秦秦) was found dead in November 22 2006, at Xi'an Qiling Wildlife Park. Preliminary diagnosis shows bruising in his lung, liver and kidney, severe pulmonary congestion and edema, left ventricular dilatation, mild liver and kidney congestion, and cerebral atrophy (aging disease). Qin Qin's lungs were filled up with excess fluid resulting in breathing difficulty and poor oxygenation of blood that lead to heart failure.
Qin Qin was born on August 31, 1989. Qin Qin's mother Dan Dan is the world's first brown panda. His father is the famous panda named Wan Wan. Qin Qin has exceptional pedigree. Both his parents are rescued wild pandas from the Foping National Nature Reserve. Qin Qin's the only success captive breed panda through natural breeding in Xi'an province.
Since Qin Qin's mother died of cancer in 2000, Qin Qin has been living alone in Qiling Wildlife Park. The zoo has tried many ways to find him a mate. According to reports, Qinling Wildlife Park gone to great pains across the country seeking a mate for Qin Qin. But because of his unusual bloodline, the park has submitted the plan and searching process through the State Forestry Administration. Unfortunately, the plan has not achieved. Finally, Xi'an Qinling Wildlife Park tried to contact the relevant organizations to arrange for his sperm collection to preserve for future offspring, but ultimately it did not take place.

Tiger cubs abandoned by mother thrive in Shaanxi zoo
Two female Manchurian tiger cubs were abandoned by their inexperienced mother after they were born. Now they are thriving in the Xi'an Qinling Wildlife Park in northwest China's Shaanxi Province after receiving meticulous care from keepers for almost two months.
The tigress gave birth to four cubs nearly two months ago, but half of them died soon after birth due to lack of food and care, leaving the other two trembling and struggling to live in the cold.
They were left unattended by the mother after they were born, as the mother was inexperienced and the weather was cold. Seeing the bigger one with a weak vital signs, we took it back. It was very feeble at first. We warmed it with a hot air blower and electric carpet, said Liu Ya, a zookeeper.
Hours later, the older tiger cub perked up.
According to the keeper, the two tiger cubs eat six times a day now, with the meals mixed with cod liver oil, calcium tablets and other trace elements, as there is no proper milk powder for them. When they are six months old, they will receive behavior training.

Kangaroo cub makes maiden appearance in northwest China
A kangaroo cub has emerged from its mother's pouch for the first time at the Xi'an Qinling Wildlife Zoo in northwest China's Shaanxi Province. The little kangaroo has grown in its mother's pouch for six months, before making its grand appearance. The mother kangaroo came from Australia in April and became pregnant while at the Zoo. There are four nipples in a mother kangaroo's pouch, where the cub has to live for six to seven months before emerging.

Qinling Panda
The brown pandas live in the Qinling Mountain range of Shaanxi Province in China. Therefore, they are called the Qinling pandas. According to the research done by Qiu-Hong Wan, Hua Wu and Sheng-Guo Fang, all of the examined Sichuan pandas had black patches on the chest and sixty-four out of sixty-nine had white hairs on the venter. Contrary to the Sichuan pandas, the Qinling ones were dark brown on the chest and 19 out of 21 were brown on the venter. Furthermore, 6% of Sichuan pandas and 10% of Qinling pandas had rare bicoloured ventral fur. Apart from the different colour, the scientists discovered additional differences. The Quinling pandas have significantly smaller skulls and larger molars compared to the Sichuan ones. According to the DNA examination, the Qinling and Sichuan pandas diverged around 10,000 years ago. Such findings imply the Qinling pandas represent a new subspecies of giant pandas. However, the scientists try to explain why are the Qinling pandas different from other pandas. Because the population of Qinling pandas is small and isolated, the inbreeding may be one of the explanations. Therefore, the dominant black gene might have mutated into brown recessive gene. Another explanation stems from occurence of other species endemic to the Qinling Mountains. These animals were distinguished from their relatives based on their fur colouration (the golden takin). Therefore, some environmental factors may affect the pigmentation of Qinling pandas. Anyway, this subspecies is very rare and unique. The exlusive breeding centre should be built for Qinling pandas which are recommended not to mate with ordinary pandas.

Giant panda has gymnastic aspirations
Giant panda Qin Qin was found practicing her gymnastics in the snow by her breeder at Xi'an Qinling Wildlife Park in Xi’an City, northwest China’s Shaanxi Province on Jan. 4, 2018. While most of her friends are well known for being chubby and clumsy, this four-year-old panda clearly wants to change that perception, as she was seen doing a series of forward and side rolls in the snow.

Animals enjoy refreshing summer snacks at Chinese zoo
Animals in Xi'an, northwest China's Shaanxi Province, have been able to cool off during recent hot summer days, thanks to a refreshing diet provided by zookeepers.
While resting in an air-conditioned room and eating ice lollies sounds like an appealing way to spend a summer's day for a human, some of the animals at Xi'an's Qinling Wildlife Zoo have also got to experience this pleasure. After a heatwave arrived in early July, feeders have been preparing a diet of refreshing snacks to help keep the animals cool.
