Megadeth - Front Row - Dystopia World Tour - Sentrum Scene - Oslo, Norway - 2017
Here are some small segments of the amazing performance that Megadeth put on while in Oslo on Aug. 1, 2017. I had an amazing time and wish my brother Jason was there as well, but you see...he actually was. He had seen them many times before as they were his favorite band of all time. It was my first time seeing them and wish I would have gone sooner. He had actually met Megadeth in the mid 90's. He was a fan before that, and Megadeth was his favorite band of all time. If you look closely, I have a photo taped to my shirt. It is of when my brother met Dave in the 90's. I wanted to recreate that moment the best I could.
R.I.P. Jason
R.I.P. Nick
I had the opportunity to attend a meet and greet prior to the show and it was a real treat to meet the band. Dave has had an amazing career and it was a pleasure to shake his hand. He continues to be solid and keep it metal!
Seeing them play in such a small club was a bonus too. The atmosphere was very quaint and personal. Dave played most of the night with one pick, and I managed to get the first pick that he threw out to the audience! A nice souvenir to remember the night.
This was shot on my Samsung S8+ and I was up front close to the action. You can see toward the end of each clip that there is a lot of movement. This is because the pit behind me was getting rowdy and had to stop recording as to not drop my phone!
Keep It Metal!
Norway is one of the most beautiful countries in the world || with massive glaciers and mountains
Norway is one of my favorite countries in the world because of its spectacular landscapes — here’s why you should travel Norway.
From stunning fjords to massive glaciers and mountains, Norway is packed to the brim with gorgeous, untouched nature waiting to be explored. Thanks to its extreme northern location, it is one of the last remaining wildernesses in Europe. For many, this rugged country remains a mystery – where the midnight sun shines endlessly in summer and the stunning Aurora Borealis dances in the sky during the long, polar winter nights. Besides being one of the coolest country to visit in Europe, it also has some of the best winter adventure activitieson offer. Here’s a look at what you can do and explore in this beautiful winter wonderland:

Explore the Capital
Norway’s capital city of Oslo is located on a fjord, with a beautiful natural setting. As compared to many other European capital cities, it’s relatively small and quaint but there’s so much to see and do that you’ll need at least a couple of days to make the most of it. Oslo has a range of museums and galleries, interesting architecture such as the Opera House and, in the festive season, the Christmas markets.

Take the Flåm Railway
Train travel is the best way to see Norway, especially with spectacular routes that journey through high-altitude mountains and valleys. Some of the most famous train journeys include the Arctic Circle Express, Bergen Railway and Flåm Railway (you can also choose to combine the two latter routes with Norway in a Nutshell daytrip). For us, Flåm Railway is particularly amazing, providing an old-world railway experience and impressive sights. On board an old-style vintage train, you’ll snake through deep ravines and frozen waterfalls, clinging tightly to the steep mountain sides. Indeed, this railway line is a masterpiece of Norwegian engineering and a must for any rail enthusiast.

Catch the Northern Lights
Visit the town of Tromsø and you can glimpse the famous Northern Lights, when the sky comes alive with a display of flickering purple and green lights created by solar flares drawn to the magnetic circle of the North Pole. There’s no guarantee that you’ll witness them firsthand, but visiting popular viewing spots during the peak visibility period between December and February increases the odds in your favor.

6 Days Across Northern Europe on a Viking Ocean Cruise | SmarterTravel
Join us for an exclusive look at the second-half of Viking Ocean Cruise’s Homelands itinerary. We caught up with the Viking Jupiter ship half way through its journey (the trip starts in Stockholm, Sweden with stops in Finland, Estonia, Poland, Russia, Germany, Copenhagen, and ends in Bergen, Norway).
Warnemunde, Germany: This quaint coastal town is a few hours’ train ride from Berlin. We opted to stay in town and check out local shops and restaurants and recover from jet lag. Other off-shore excursions include a brewery tour in Rostock, city tours in Berlin, visits to Lubeck and Wismar, or asobering tour at a concertation camp memorial site.
Copenhagen, Denmark: This welcoming city is a great introduction to Scandinavia culture. Optional shore-excursions at this port city include a walking tour, a visit to Christiansborg Palace, a trip to the castles of North Zeeland, a food tour, canal cruises, and more.
Alborg, Denmark: Discover Denmark’s seaside town in Alborg. This half-daystop is the perfect amount of time to get more of a glimpse into cozy Danish culture. Optional tours include biking to the Alborg fjord, experiencing a day as a Viking, and more.
Stavanger, Norway: Here’s where you really start to get a sense of Nordic culture. The port town is home to Europe’s highest concertation of 17th and
18th wooden buildings. Get out on the water in a speedboat or opt for a more leisurely cruise through the fjords. Make sure you leave time to wander around “Color Street”, which if lined with houses painted in all colors of the rainbow.
Eidfjord, Norway: Pulling into Eidfjord, the majestic landscape is definitely one of the trip’s highlights. Soak in the view from your balcony, kayak in the water, or enjoy the views on the Voss, Geilo, and Bergen railway.
Bergen, Norway: You get to spend a full night in this UNESCO World-Heritage site. Visit any of the city’s museums, wander around the shops and cafes, or even flightsee over the fjords and glaciers. There are also plenty of hiking trails nearby and the city is only a quick flight to Oslo, where you can continue on your adventure.

Denmark Beyond Copenhagen
Rick Steves' Europe Travel Guide | Using Copenhagen as a springboard, we'll visit the very best of Denmark. Aarhus welcomes us with its ruddy affluence, charming open-air museum, and eerily well-preserved ancient bog man. Roskilde impresses visitors with its royal burial church and the best Viking-ship museum anywhere. And the delightfully quaint isle of Ærø comes with half-timbered cottages, ships in bottles, and cobbled alleyways that remind us of the world of Hans Christian Andersen.

Table Tales - Food culture in the Oslo region
Food culture and foodie experiences are going through a huge boom in Norway. No less so in the regions surrounding Oslo. Large, small, quaint, modern, old school or hipster. Tastes vary, and so do the offerings around the region. What all great foodie experiences have in common though is great ingredients, and our enthusiastic chefs are adamant about using locally grown and produced ingredients. That's the taste of Norway.

One Day in BERGEN, Norway! | European Bike Tour #41
In this vlog I wake up in my Airbnb apartment in Bergen, Norway. A quaint little city on the west coast of Norway. The city is built on 7 hills which makes it's terrain resembling San Fransisco but then even steeper! Went out to do some bike maintenance but the highlights were definitely visiting the ancient buildings on Bryggen street and taking a walk up one of the 7 hills where I was rewarded by a spectaculair view.
Thank you so much for watching!

Norway 2017, Best Trip Ever!
Norway has a special place in my heart. Here are some of the highlights from this year’s trip. Though the weather did not always cooperate, it was beautiful none the less. We had the privilege of going to the southernmost point in Norway, and visited some of the quaint little towns along the sea coast, but the most spectacular experience this year, was the hike to Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock). Come with me and see some of the things that makes Norway so dear and comforting to me.
