Richard Dolan False Flags (Lecture)
Globalization and technological change have led to an unprecedented level of propaganda and deception in our world. Now, in the 21st century, the United States is attempting to finalize unrivaled control over the resources of the world, especially over oil- and gas-rich regions, via regime change and other covert means. In addition, the transformation of global power over the past several decades has led to an increasingly restive population that (in the opinion of those who rule), needs to be controlled.
As a result, we are now faced with a sophisticated propaganda system that includes not only domination over mainstream media, but infiltration of social media, entrapment operations, and many other provocations. It also includes the ultimate weapon in the propaganda tool kit: the false flag. Simply put, a false flag is an act of deception designed to elicit fear or anger from a target audience (that usually means you), with the aim of justifying actions (wars, repressive laws, etc.) that could never otherwise be justified,. And of course, something which is blamed on another party. These days, that often means “terrorists” or certain nations.
Historian Richard Dolan will explain why we live in an era of false flags, and will describe some of the most important false flags that have shaped our world–in previous generations as well as today. He will describe how false flags are possible, why they are psychologically effective, how they have evolved over the years to become sophisticated and diverse operations–not always targeted against nations, but often against populations, and sometimes against specific individuals.
Moreover, Richard will provide an analytical framework to help us identify specific elements of false flags, enabling us to spot them more easily in the future.
Renown author and historian Richard M. Dolan has published four books and numerous articles on anomalous phenomena, suppressed science, secret space programs, breakaway civilizations, the intelligence community and similar important issues. He is widely regarded as a leading researcher and historian on the topic of the UFO cover-up and related subjects. Prior to his interest in unusual phenomena, he studied US Cold War strategy, Soviet history, and international diplomacy.
Richard is the author of two volumes of history, UFOs and the National Security State volumes one and two, regarded as the seminal treatments on the subject, as well as an analysis of the future, A.D. After Disclosure: When the Government Finally Reveals the Truth About Alien Contact. More recently he published UFOs for the 21st Century Mind, a comprehensive and fresh guide to the entire subject of UFOs.
Richard is nearing completion of another ground-breaking book, A History of False Flag Operations, which explains one of the most pernicious developments of our time: how clandestine agencies secretly engage in violence and destruction in order to promote their agendas. This book not only details the many false flags that have shaped our world (such as 9/11), but will help readers understand why we live in an era of false flags today, and how to recognize them when they happen in the future.
Richard was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1962. He grew up in Brentwood, Long Island, playing baseball and studying science and history. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in History and English Literature at Alfred University, then earned a Master’s degree in History at the University of Rochester. He also received a Certificate in Political Ideologies from Exeter College at Oxford University, and was a finalist for a Rhodes Scholarship.
He is a regular guest on Coast-to-Coast AM radio, and has appeared on many television specials for History Channel, SyFy Channel, BBC, among many others. In 2003, he was a founding member of Phenomena, a magazine dedicated to leading edge issues pertaining to science and society.

Home Drone: A Public Art Intervention
An 18-foot-long rhinestone covered replica of a U.S. Predator drone is at the center of a new multimedia art exhibit titled Home Drone. The exhibition challenges viewers to imagine their reaction if thousands of deadly drones had struck in the U.S.—specifically Massachusetts--rather than in Pakistan, Yemen, and Afghanistan.
The exhibition was created by Heather Layton, an internationally known social intervention artist and senior lecturer at the University of Rochester, and collaborator Brian Bailey, a professor of adolescence education with a focus on social justice at Nazareth College, also in Rochester, N.Y.
Layton and Bailey, who were named citizen diplomats by the U.S. Department of State in 2012, have previously created art installations designed to challenge assumptions about urban gun violence, fears of other cultures, and the prevalence of consumer culture and self-absorption.
Starting in 2004, the United States government has sent fleets of unmanned aerial vehicles, also known as drones, over northern Pakistan to deploy 'Hellfire missiles' at suspected terrorists, said Layton. But if we can send missiles through the skies of an independent country with the explanation that we are only killing those who are planning to fight against us, what should prevent another country from sending unmanned aerial vehicles into United States airspace to kill those who might be planning to fight against them? This is what Home Drone explores.
In addition to increasing social awareness about this controversial issue, Layton hopes the exhibit will help promote a cultural understanding between the U.S. and Pakistan, and help cultivate peaceful relationships between individuals, regardless of religion, gender, socioeconomic status, age, nationality, and culture.
Guided by additional information from the 2012 report Living Under Drones by law professors at Stanford and New York University, Layton and Bailey hope to shed light on people affected by the attacks. According to Bailey, The report shows through personal interviews both the devastation caused by drones and the fear of those who live under them experience, knowing an attack can happen at any time.
Layton and Bailey's exhibit also includes videos of presidential candidates Barack Obama and Mitt Romney debating drone strikes, videos of civilians protesting the strikes, and a wall-sized map of the drone attack sites superimposed over a drawing of Massachusetts, beginning with the site of the Boston Tea Party in 1773.
After visiting Pakistan this topic became particularly important to us as we started to realize these drones are attacking people we now consider our friends, said Layton. Last year, she and Bailey traveled to the University of Karachi in Pakistan to deliver a keynote address at a conference, Social Intervention 2012: A Better Tomorrow for the Coming Generation. While there, they also helped launch a youth film festival and installed an interactive art exhibition.

Leah and I are two humans who no longer support the inhuman, oligarchic empire model destroying our planet and our true nature as human beings. As activists we decided to do something about it, so we opted out of our former lives to begin anew. We are currently transforming pristine alpine wilderness into a self-sustaining homestead and organic farm in preparation for the upcoming collapse. We plan on developing and executing every single step of the process in open source format for the benefit of all humanity. With our backgrounds in academia and the sciences (climatology, geology, physics, biology, chemistry, and more) we hope to uncover the lies perpetrated by the mass media. It will be presented here and on our website in a systematic and thorough process. As you can imagine, this is a multifaceted, lifelong project, and we are so passionately excited to take the next steps towards self sufficiency and our dream! Won't you join us?

DAVID CAY JOHNSTON: LIVING IN TRUMP'S AMERICA
While Twitter feuds and Russian hackers dominate news headlines, President Donald Trump’s administration is radically changing the policies and programs that define the American way of life. In their first year, the Trump administration’s efforts to defund Obamacare, repeal LGBT protections in the workplace, impose tax cuts and deport undocumented immigrants have significantly impacted millions of Americans, all while the mainstream media has struggled to keep up. Beyond the tweets, firings, scandals and indictments, how will Trump’s policy agenda continue to affect our daily lives?
Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist David Cay Johnston says he has the answers. Since 1988, Johnston has been chronicling Trump’s personal life and business dealings—from his casinos to his marriages and beyond. In his new book, It’s Even Worse Than You Think, Johnston is going where the media won’t—into the weeds—to shed new light on the Trump administration’s policies and bureaucratic choices and how they will change America. Join Johnston for a revealing conversation about the Trump administration’s impact on our finances, health care, safety and much, much more.

In which John Green teaches you about a time of relative tumult in the United States, the 1960s. America was changing rapidly in the 1960s, and rights movements were at the forefront of those changes. Civil Rights were dominant, but the 60s also saw growth in the Women's Movement, the LGBT rights movement, the Latino rights movement, and the American Indian movement. Also, Americans began to pay a bit more attention to the environment. All this change happened against the backdrop of the Cold War and the Rise of Conservatism. It was just wild. John will teach you about sit-ins, Freedom Rides, The March on Washington, MLK, JFK, LBJ, and NOW. Man, that is a lot of initialisms. And one acronym.
