Walk through of the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania Railroad
I wanted to practice using my new gimble, So I decided to do a walk through and tour of the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania in Ronks Pa. This place has the largest collection of Pennsylvania Railroad engines cars and memorabilia. Do not mind at the beginning,I had a hiccup and a friend who was watching assisted me. And leave comments on where I can improve, I would appreciate.
Strasburg, Pennsylvania - National Toy Train Museum - Full Tour HD (2017)
The National Toy Train Museum (NTTM), at 300 Paradise Lane, in Strasburg, Pennsylvania, USA, is focused on creating an interactive display of toy trains. Its collection dates from the early 1800s through current production. The building houses the Toy Train Reference Library and the National Business Office of the Train Collectors Association. It is located just around the corner from the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania.
The NTTM is owned and operated by the Train Collectors Association (TCA) and serves as its headquarters. The museum's mission is to promote train collecting and to preserve the heritage of toy trains. Founded in 1977, part of the museum's ongoing appeal is that it brings children and adults together. The museum features five working train layouts and a Toy Train Reference Library with reference and archival materials serving model railroaders. The nearby Choo Choo Barn features a more than 1,700-square-foot model train layout with 22 operating model trains and more than 150 animations.
In August 2012, the National Toy Train Museum was one of twenty locations invited to participate in an international virtual celebration of Swiss contributions to railroad technology. The Skype talks, in which engineers, historians, museum curators and other experts presented Swiss trains and other Swiss train technologies and answered questions from the public, were accessible by computer and at the participating locations.
The museum is open on a seasonal basis with an admission fee charged. TCA members are admitted free. It is closed from January through March.

Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania | My Experience
Another Train Museum! This one is In Strasburg Pennsylvania! This one also happens to be next to my childhood favorite Railroad, Strasburg railroad! It was awesome to see number 90 running even if I only got to see it moving twice. Anyway I will try to find more train museums to look around in. Comment if you know of a train museum in Florida.
A Trip to the Railroad Museum of PA Part 2
More from the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania. I really regret not visiting more often, the last time I went was before they expanded.
Tip: If you plan on visiting both the RR Museum and the Strasburg Train Station go to the museum when it first opens, after you're done it'll be close to lunch time. Take a picnic lunch or buy a box lunch from the Sweet & Treat Shop and ride the train to the picnic grounds and enjoy. Just make sure you don't miss the last train of the day.

Alongside Route 30 in Amish Country is an iconic local establishment serving up the best shoo-fly pies around as well as delightfully tacky gift shop items. Just look for the dutch windmill (near rockvale outlets and dutch wonderland).

Strasburg Rail Road 90 Memorial Day 2017 Steam Train Ride Lancaster County Pennsylvania
Strasburg Rail Road #90 Memorial Day 2017 steam train ride through Lancaster County, Strasburg and Ronks, Pennsylvania.
Several days worth of videos taken on a trip to Strasburg on Memorial Day weekend, 2017. The trip included a ride on the Strasburg Rail Road, and many opportunities for photos and videos as the train traveled through the Amish farmland of Lancaster County.
The star of the show is the Strasburg Rail Road’s 1924 2-10-0 steam locomotive #90, as it pulls a string of wooden passenger coaches. The landscape is seemingly endless rolling hills, covered with farms that grow corn, soy, tobacco, poultry and dairy products. The weather wasn’t the most cooperative, but the rain made for some nice shots and a generous amount of steam from the locomotive. The buildings and terrain made for some impressive echoing of the whistle, which can be heard several times in the video.
The ride begins at the yard, which houses the railroad’s shops and service towers. It pauses at where the line connects to the Amtrak mainline between Philadelphia and Chicago. Here the railroad occasionally receives modern freight cars to be delivered, as the line still offers freight service. The locomotive runs around the train and connects to the opposite end, before returning the train to the yard. The journey is approximately 45 minutes round trip.
With the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania, Red Caboose Motel, National Toy Train Museum and the Choo Choo Barn all close by, the area is definitely worth the trip.

Florys Cottage and Camping - Ronks PA
- Very NEAT little park in the heart of Pennsylvania Amish country. Close to Lancaster, Bird in Hand, Coatsville, Paradise, Intercourse and other towns in the Dutch areas of Pennsylvania. We commonly saw the horse drawn buggies and had probably the best STICKY BUN - Cinnamon roll of our entire lives!
