2200km Ride in Rajasthan Episode 1 | Rajasthan On Bike | Delhi to Jodhpur on Bike | Riding Rajasthan
#JodhpurOnBike
#AmazingRajasthanRoads
#2200kmRajasthanRide
January 2020: Along with six other riders, I took on a ride to the important border posts of India ~ Longewala and the famous Tanot Mata Mandir.
The ride started on 23rd of Jan from Delhi. Our first destination was Jodhpur which is more than 600 kilometres. We anticipated fog and the travel time was to be about 12 hours.
The roads of Rajasthan are simply amazing. Barring Delhi - Jaipur section of NH 48, rest of the road’s quality is too good. I had read that the government is emphasising on making roads ready enough to land an aircraft if required. Truly, the majority of the roads are of that standard.
At the fag end of January, while there wasn’t much chill, however, the ride was experience was different. The constant flow of air does eventually penetrate through the gaps of the riding gears. Therefore it is important to be well insulated.
We started the ride at about 6 am in the morning and had covered more than 650 kilometres in less than 12 hours of the ride, including all breaks in between. We chose a little longer route thru Pali as we wanted to ride on good roads and Google did say that it would take less time even though it was a bit longer. It was Delhi - Jaipur bypass - Kishangarh - Ajmer bypass - Beawer - Pali bypass - Jodhpur.
The scenic beauty of Rajasthan is very different from the rest of the country as it’s barren all around, with few green patches in between. One would very commonly see the Mustard fields with yellow flowers on it, ready for harvest.
Jodhpur has two beautiful places to visit, the majestic Mehrangarh Fort and the grand Umaid Bhawan, where the current King of Jodhpur - Maharaja Gaj Singh resides.
Jodhpur is also known as the Indigo city, because of the predominant colour of the old city houses and building. All of them are blue. And it looks beautiful when seen from the Mehrangarh Fort.
The highlight of our trip was the evening that we spent at a roof-top cafe in the old city called - Indigo Cafe. It was at the base of the fort and the entire grand wall, well illuminated was visible.

Watch out for the next episode of Intercepting Rajasthan, which is on Jaisalmer and its dunes.

Bike temple of India - Om Banna Temple in Rajasthan (Bullet Baba)
Om Banna Temple - Bike temple of India, Bullet baba rajasthan
Read more:
Hello friends this is mythical India in today we are going to talk about such a temple of India where is not Gods and Goddesses which are worship but a motorbike. Indians actually worship more than 33 crore Gods and Goddesses. In addition there are temples for living people as well such as Narendra Modi Amitabh Bachchan Sachin Tendulkar and Sonia Gandhi. We will be talking about these temples in a separate video that we will make for you.
But today we have to talk about the bike temple of India. It is temporary is also known as the Om Banna temple and a Royal Enfield bike is worshipped here.
Om Banna Temple it is situated just 50 kilometres from the Jodhpur city of Rajasthamn. It is part of the Pali district in the state. And interesting things to note here is that anyoisne traveling on national highway number 65 considers this a star attraction in journey. Everyday there are hundreds of people who come here for prayers and wish for a safe and happy journey. The special things about this Temple don't end here. The people sometimes offer alcohal as well to the deity.
The bike kept in the temple has the number 7773 and people had started praying to it right from 1980s. The Origins story of the Om Banna Temple is also equally interesting. According to the story Om Banna whose actual name was Om Singh Rathore was travelling on his motorcycle from Bagdi to Chotila. This incident happened in 1988. On the way he lost control of his bike and hit a tree. The accident was so dangerous that he passed away on the site of the accident and his bike fell in a nearby ditch. When the police came the next day after the accident they took the bike to the nearby police station. And this is where some Supernatural stuff started happening.
Police was not able to find the bike in the police station next morning as it had disappeared in the night. They later found the bike at the site of the accident. The police was surprised by this incident bu they thought that this is a prank which was being played on them by someone. Next day, they again took the bike back to the police station, removed all its petrol and kept it under lock and chain. In spite of all this the bike again disappeared and was found at the spot of the accident the next day. The police tried the same thing multiple times and failed every single time.
By this time the public had already heard about the Supernatural incidents happening at the accident spot. As a result people started praying to the Bullet Baba on the spot of the accident. This information also spread to the nearby villages. There was a small Temple built on the spot and people started playing to it.
This is the temple which is known as the Om Banna temple or the bike temple of India. People started praying to both the bike and the bike owner here.
People believe that Om Banna takes care of people on the journey if they get into any trouble. No there is also a fire that is lit in the temple 24 hours a day.
This Temple got so famous later that Royal Enfield actually published advertisements in the auto magazines of the time about Bullet Baba. . Today all the worshippers come to the temple and pray to the bike. It's a great irony that the tree which was responsible for the death of Om Banna is actually prayed to today in a temple which is built in his honour.
People believe that anyone travelling on this route who doesn't come to the temple actually face is a lot of dangers in his journey. The temple has been covered in several National and International Media outlets.
So that's it for today you are watching mythical India and we will be bringing to you stories related to India in future as well. So if you like the video you're just so please subscribe to our channel and let us know in the commons pillow is there is a specific story that you would like us to cover.
RAJASTHAN TRAVEL GUIDE / ROAD TRIP
This video is all about the places to visit in Rajasthan in India.
Rajasthan, Land Of Kings and one of the most unique and colourful provinces in Northern India on the border with Pakistan.
The barren desert landscape was once the home of the Rajputes that ruled over the land for more than a thousand years, and now it is known for its rich culture and architecture.
Things we explored during our Journey :-
DAY 1 - Delhi to Bikaner [ We started our ride early in the Cold & Foggy morning which was not easy. After while when the sun came & the fog disappeared our fun ride began, it was the day when we rode the most kms of our entire Riding journey.
DAY 2 - Bikaner [ We explored the Junagarh fort, Lalgarh Palace, Research center on camel & Karni mata temple which was surrounded by more than 10,000 rats. ]
DAY 3 - Bikaner to Jaisalmer [ Whole day went on riding and we face a lot of wind blast, though the road here was very smooth. ]
DAY 4 - Jaisalmer to Laungewala to Tanot Mata Mandir to Sam-sand Dunes [ One of the best day, the road was covered with huge windmills and surrounded by sand all over. It was less crowded area, we enjoyed the road as it felt like the Las Vegas of India. In Sam-sand dunes We did camel ride & desert safari. It is must to do thing. The Thar desert mesmerized us with its Up & Downs hilly.
DAY 5 - Jaisalmer to Jhodpur [ In Morning, we visited the famous Jain Temple Full Day Ride]
DAY 6 - Jhodpur to Udaipur [ In morning we went to Mehrangarh Fort, one of the best fort in Rajasthan. It is situated in a high hill from there you can see the entire blue city Jodhpur after that we left for udaipur ]
DAY 7 - Udaipur [ After breakfast we went to Bahubali hills which is near Badi lake, after a kilometer trek, we reached there & the view was mesmerizing & photogenic not much people know about this palace which makes it less crowded. Then we went to monsoon palace & Fateh sagar lake. At evening time we went to the city palace where you can enjoy the sunset at lake Pichola.
DAY 8 - Udaipur to Jaipur [ It was a full day ride but in between we decided to cover Sambar salt lake which was in our way somewhere around 35 km before Jaipur. The route for Sambar salt lake goes through a village area and very few people come here as many don't know about this place & one can not find a hotel easily there.
DAY 9 - Jaipur to Delhi [ Back Home ]
Rajasthan is a living fairy-tale beneath the desert sky.

Garadia Mahadev | India's Grand Canyon | Rajasthan Tourism | Bike Ride
If there is heaven in Kota, it is at the site of Garadia Mahadev Temple located by the banks of Chambal River. Located on Dabi Road (NH 76), about 30 plus kilometres from the main city of Kota, this beauty enveloping this temple renders the beholder speechless. The magical charm of this site gets enhanced by a few notches when dark clouds fill up the firmament and pour their cooling waters. There are peacocks, monkeys and other avian friends residing in this region. The Shiva temple rests a few steps from the main viewpoint. An important point to be noted is that this place is deprived of eateries, tea stalls and toilets. So, go there with enough food and water and leave before it gets too dark because the site is 1.5 kilometres off the highway. Tourists visiting the place for the first time are advised to hire a cab (Ola) or taxi due to the dearth of public transport connecting Kota to Garadia Mahadev Temple.
