Travel Vlog Iv is a travel and food video channel. I'm Ivana, nice to meet you! You'll find travel and food videos on this channel because I like to take you along while exploring the world. These videos hopefully make you excited to travel and eat food around the world as well. There's such a joy in getting out of your comfort zone and growing as human being by traveling to new places and eating delicious food you've never tasted before.
I'm currently based in Bangalore because India is my favourite country in the world. Travel in India is kind of my thing but I've been al over the world. Just check these playlists to begin your journey with me:
FAQ's:
Q Where are you from?
A I am born in former Yugoslavia. Mom is Serbian, Dad is Bosnian. During the '90's war we came to the Netherlands and I got Dutch nationality. I've lived in Amsterdam for 8 years but lost my heart to India. Since 2018 I'm based in Bangalore. See this video for my refugee story:
Q How can you afford to travel so much?
A I saved for 3 years while working full time and now travel vlogging is my job. I work together with tourism agencies but also do some freelance work on the side. You can watch this video: and this one: to learn more about my story.
Q What camera do you film with and what editing software do you use?
A Canon G7X Mark II and Final Cut Pro X
Q (Why) Are you vegetarian?
A I'm vegetarian but not strict. I don't eat any meat, fish, cooked/boiled or fried eggs. I gradually became a vegetarian over the course of 15 years because I disliked the taste of meat more and more. After doing a yoga teacher training in 2015 I also quit fish and the eggs. No matter my food preferences I have no issues with other people not being vegetarian. I don't judge others and kind of expect the same favor from others concerning my own food preferences. It makes for a more friendly world :-)
Q Why do you usually travel alone?
A Because my friends have jobs with limited holidays, kids and partners. Also I really like exploring on my own.
Q Why do you love India so much?
A Watch this video: and this one:
RAJASTHAN TRAVEL GUIDE / ROAD TRIP
This video is all about the places to visit in Rajasthan in India.
Rajasthan, Land Of Kings and one of the most unique and colourful provinces in Northern India on the border with Pakistan.
The barren desert landscape was once the home of the Rajputes that ruled over the land for more than a thousand years, and now it is known for its rich culture and architecture.
Things we explored during our Journey :-
DAY 1 - Delhi to Bikaner [ We started our ride early in the Cold & Foggy morning which was not easy. After while when the sun came & the fog disappeared our fun ride began, it was the day when we rode the most kms of our entire Riding journey.
DAY 2 - Bikaner [ We explored the Junagarh fort, Lalgarh Palace, Research center on camel & Karni mata temple which was surrounded by more than 10,000 rats. ]
DAY 3 - Bikaner to Jaisalmer [ Whole day went on riding and we face a lot of wind blast, though the road here was very smooth. ]
DAY 4 - Jaisalmer to Laungewala to Tanot Mata Mandir to Sam-sand Dunes [ One of the best day, the road was covered with huge windmills and surrounded by sand all over. It was less crowded area, we enjoyed the road as it felt like the Las Vegas of India. In Sam-sand dunes We did camel ride & desert safari. It is must to do thing. The Thar desert mesmerized us with its Up & Downs hilly.
DAY 5 - Jaisalmer to Jhodpur [ In Morning, we visited the famous Jain Temple Full Day Ride]
DAY 6 - Jhodpur to Udaipur [ In morning we went to Mehrangarh Fort, one of the best fort in Rajasthan. It is situated in a high hill from there you can see the entire blue city Jodhpur after that we left for udaipur ]
DAY 7 - Udaipur [ After breakfast we went to Bahubali hills which is near Badi lake, after a kilometer trek, we reached there & the view was mesmerizing & photogenic not much people know about this palace which makes it less crowded. Then we went to monsoon palace & Fateh sagar lake. At evening time we went to the city palace where you can enjoy the sunset at lake Pichola.
DAY 8 - Udaipur to Jaipur [ It was a full day ride but in between we decided to cover Sambar salt lake which was in our way somewhere around 35 km before Jaipur. The route for Sambar salt lake goes through a village area and very few people come here as many don't know about this place & one can not find a hotel easily there.
DAY 9 - Jaipur to Delhi [ Back Home ]
Rajasthan is a living fairy-tale beneath the desert sky.
Thanks for all your support, rating the video and leaving a comment is always appreciated!
Jaipur, India Travel- Chokhi Dhani Village (Rajasthan)

Chokhi Dhani Village, it is a typical village set up in the state of Rajasthan, in India. Here you can find all kinds of rides. There is an interesting area which is called the National Hut. Over here, they showcase the other cultures from different parts of India.
We have created a complete Rajasthani atmosphere here and traditional Rajasthani food is served. People who serve food are typical villagers and not professionals. Typical Rajasthani food is available in leaf plates in plenty.
Here you can feel the very slippance of the traditional Rajasthani culture. The word Chokhi Dhani comes from a Sanskrit word, and it is derived from the root word which means true, so Chokhi Dhani would really mean, in its literal sense, true village. This is Subhashish Bharuka, showing you Jaipur.

...ABOUT US...
Hi, we are Erin and Francis, aka the Honeymooners! We are a couple travelling the world for a year on our honeymoon.
In 2016 we travelled throughout South East Asia, and trekked all over the Himalayas of Nepal. We documented the entire trip on our GoPro for our family and friends, but decided to post it all onto YouTube just for a bit of fun as well.
We are newlyweds, happily married since June 2019, and are now living out our dream goal we have had since our last overseas trip, of travelling the world for an entire year on our honeymoon. We have worked so hard towards this goal and want to document the entire journey with you all, so you can join us as we leave our footprints all over this beautiful world.
The world we live in is so diverse and rich with culture, yet the more we travel and the more people we meet along the way, we realise that people share so many similarities no matter what their background is. We love showing these similarities while expressing their cultural differences and hope to capture those moments and show the world.

Rajasthan is a northern Indian state bordering Pakistan. Its palaces and forts are reminders of the many kingdoms that historically vied for the region. In its capital, Jaipur (the Pink City), are the 18th-century City Palace and Hawa Mahal, a former cloister for royal women, fronted by a 5-story pink-sandstone screen. Amer Fort, atop a nearby hill, was built by a Rajput prince in the early 1600s.

Overview of Chokhi Dhani Village Jaipur | A must visit place of Rajasthan | Village Tour
Chokhi Dhani is a concept capturing the vibrant spirit of Rajasthan and ensuring a perfect Rajasthani experience. Inbound and native tourists have a desire to experience the unique Rajasthani culture. The real Rajasthan, the villages, the paintings, Bani Thani art, the wall decorations, Dipak wall, the fresh air, the evening performances, the enthusiasm, the 'manuhar' (a delicate request to eat till your heart’s desire), the traditions, the costumes and at last but not least the Feelings.
At Chokhi Dhani we bring that all for you. Our aim is to preserve and encourage the village art and culture, to get today's generation closer to the roots and the globetrekkers to see Indian village life.

Travel India - Sunset Views from Rajasthan
Take a tour of Rajasthan at Sunset in India -- part of the World's Greatest Attractions travel video series by GeoBeats.
Sunsets are beautiful anywhere, but very few are like the ones seen in the cities throughout the state of Rajasthan India.
Rooftops are an easy vantage point on which to sit and relax as the sun makes its final descent.
Jaisalmer, The Golden City, reminiscent of old exotic Hollywood films, still clings to its historical roots.
At the top of the hill in Jodhpur lies the Meherangarth Fort, an amazing place to feast on the sunset views of the entire city as it becomes enshrouded in golden light.
The true beauty of many building's facades blaze to life as the setting sun falls upon them.
The White City of Udaipur, set in the middle of Lake Pichola, glows with the failing light reflecting from the surrounding water.
Jaipur is a favorite of many travelers as it provides an oasis of modernity to which many have grown accustomed.
As the sun nears the horizon it casts the whole of Rajasthan into a world composed of stark silhouettes.
Viewing the sunset in Rajasthan is an awe-inspiring ways to begin a night in India.

Guide to Rajasthan and the North of India
Wild Frontiers' Jonny Bealby presents a travel guide to Rajasthan and the north of India.
For Wild Frontiers Rajasthan and the North consists of the north-western states of Rajasthan, Gujarat and the Punjab, with Delhi and Agra thrown in for good measure.
Over half of all first time travellers to India visit Rajasthan and for good reason. With a plethora of magnificent monuments, its vibrant cities and fairy-tale heritage of Rajput palaces -- now converted into some of the most atmospheric hotels anywhere in the world -- Rajasthan is arguably India's most colourful state.
First and foremost there is the Golden Triangle; a natural routing that takes you from Delhi, with its great flight connections, through Agra and the essential Taj Mahal to Jaipur, the states capital and one of the most lively and evocative towns in the whole region. From here you can travel southwest through Pushkar, with its famous camel fair, Jodhpur, the Blue City, and on to Udaipur and the Venice of the East.
Or you could head out on the more remote but every bit as romantic desert routing, heading due west our of Delhi on what was one of the southern branches of the Old Silk Road to take in Bikanir, Nagaur and the most famous of all the desert town, Jailsalmer.
But there's also another way to go, to travel on a slower routing through the Rajasthani countryside, staying at some of the States most romantic rural palaces such as at Ramathra, Bhensrorgarh, Deogarh or Castle Bijaipur -- which is where I am now.
This really is quintessential India; the India of our childhood imagination, a calm quiet land where little of modern India appears, a place that is perfect for walking, cycling, riding or just relaxing.
Further afield there is the very under explored and deeply fascinating state of Gujarat. This is a region of fabulous temples, such as the amazing world heritage site at Palitana -- where I was two years back recceying our new trip to the region.
Gujarat is also home to some extraordinary landscapes and wildlife and some of the most diverse and interesting people in the country. Those of you a that are interested in textiles should make a special effort to come here as they are among the best the country, if not the world, can offer.
And finally another fascinating place to squeeze into this region is Amristsar. Holy city to the Sikhs, it is home to the amazing Golden Temple, the infamous Jahwallah Barg and the peculiar but utterly captivating, closing of the gate ceremony at the border with Pakistan. Which is something that has to be seen to be believed!
As I said at the start, most people coming to India will visit Rajasthan and the North -- and for very good reason. It offers everything the first timer or committed Indophile needs to have an amazing Indian experience.
Wild Frontiers has a number of small group tours to Rajasthan and the North, including our classic Taj, Temples and Tigers, our Desert Forts and Palaces and our more offbeat India in Slow Motion and with our experts in our office in London we can design bespoke travel to the region as well.
So come and see this amazing part of India; it'll stay with you forever.
