Tulamben Wreck Divers, Bali, Indonesia
Migration Media were lucky enough to be invited by one of Bali's best dive operators in November to film promotional material and photograph some of the amazing marine life that Bali's favourite dive location has to offer. Tulamben Wreck Divers provide some amazing services that ensure even the most experienced and demanding dive customers walk away satisfied they have seen the best this area has to offer. Individuals and buddy teams are given their own personal local dive guide experienced in seeking rare and beautiful critters such as frogfish, pygmy seahorse, ghost pipefish, harlequin shrimp and boxer crab to name just a few. Guided by Putu and Suka, we were able to film and photography everything we came and even had a fantastic interaction with a huge Mola Mola (Sunfish) cleaning on one of early morning dives at USAT Liberty Wreck . An unforgeable experience!
Tulamben Wreck Divers provide diving in and around Tulamben as well as Amed, Seraya and surrounding areas giving you the option to create your own customised dive schedule choosing where and when you want to dive. A real luxury when on holiday and you want that little bit extra to digest lunch! Their accommodation options are also new, clean and comfortable. So please, sit back, relax and enjoy the video.

10 Cool Underwater Creatures in Tulamben
My next and final dive destination in Bali was Tulamben. I lodged and dive with the team at the Bali Dive Resort and Spa. The Resort is about a 2 ½ hour drive from Seminyak.
The first dive we did was on the house reef. The house reef is filled Nudibranch’s Frogfish, Stingrays, Anomefish, etc. A great location for simple, long and exciting checkout dives. Each day I was assigned to a different dive guide. The dive groups were very mall. The largest group I was in had 3 divers plus the dive guide. There were a few days the guides took me out alone at no extra charge. This was fantastic for the aspiring underwater photographer and videographer.
All of the dive guides I was assigned were excellent. One of the guides suggested I wake up super earlier to find the Bumphead Parrotfish at the Liberty wreck. He suggested there would a high around of Bumphead Parrotfish and less diver's than latter in the morning/day. He was right! I took the video below between 4-6am. When we got to the dive site in the early morning, it was still pitch black and the area has low light pollution.
1- 0:05 Disco Scallop
2- 0:15 Ornate Ghope Pipefish
3- 0:25 Leaf Scorpionfish
4- 0:35 Harlequin Sweetlips
5- 0:45 Oriental Sweetlips
6- 0:55 Striped Eel Catflish
7- 1:05 Rigid Shrimpfish
8- 1:15 Ribbon Eel
9- 1:25 Broadclub Cuttlefish
10- 1:35 Bumphead Parrotfish

August 2018 - Diving in Padang Bai / Amed, Bali, Indonesia [4K] Vlog
The east of Bali is mainly known for the US Liberty, a war II wreck that lies close to Tulamben. But this is by far not the only thing to be see here. There are many rare animals living in the small reefs and sandy areas close to the wreck. The excellent diving in this area makes it well worth an extended visit, specially for photographers interested in critter diving. Further south around Amuk Bay are several dive sites, very varied, from easy diving on a slope to current swept islands like Gili Selang, Gili Biaha or Tepekong with a good chance to see sharks, Mola Mola sunfishes and other really large animals!

Blackwater Diving @ alamBatu, Bali Indonesia
Blackwater Diving @ alamBatu
Since March 2018 alamBatu is offering the unique experience of Blackwater Diving to its guests.
These special night dives are conducted up to 1000 meters offshore in deep water environment, far away from any reefs. The 2 – 4 divers joined by at least 1 dive guide are drifting along an illuminated, weighted line in a depth up to maximum 15 meters, while the crew is observing the group from the boat at all time to make sure all safety standards are met.
This unique experience gives the diver (especially critter lovers and macro photographer) the chance to witness never before seen subjects such as the paper nautilus, moon jellies, flying fish, jellyfish and many, many more weird creatures coming up from the deep.
Divers are required to have at least 50 logged dives and previous night dive experience to join blackwater dives.

“Bali” is the thirteenth chapter of the series “Out of the Black & into the Blue”. The island of Bali is located in the westernmost end of the Lesser Sunda Islands, lying between Java to the west and Lombok to the east.
Bali without any doubt has some of the best dive sites in the world. Nusa Penida is well known to be the home of the giant sunfish (mola mola) and manta rays. In Tulamben you can explore the incredible SS Liberty wreck where you can dive through bumphead parrotfishes and colorful softcorals. Shipwreck and Artificial Reef at Sahara Deep, Dauin, Philippines
This dive site is another coastal artificial reef system and new features are added all the time; As of today, Sahara is made out of a steel hull lying on its side, an old Volkswagen, a small Filipino Jeepney, a pyramid structure of car tyres, a kayak and a small speedboat. The wrecks are all between 14 and 28 meters. Most of the artificial reef structures have soft and hard coral growths on them, as well as a stunning number of large unafraid fish. The groupers, snappers, rabbitfish and batfish at Sahara are particularly friendly and will not shy away from divers, which makes it a great place for fish portrait photography. Lots of red snappers, rabbit fish, batfish, striped catfish and juvenile emperor angelfish can be seen here, as well as lionfish, banded pipefish, longfin bannerfish and moray eels.
