Rendezvous Mountain Hillclimb
One of the most iconic vertical running events in the West! 6.1 miles of distance with 4139' vertical gain on nearly all singletrack! From runners pushing the one hour mark to people hiking the course there is something for everyone.
This non-profit annual race is run in honor of our friend and longtime JHMR Aerial Tram mechanic Chris Onufer, who on March 7, 2012 tragically passed away in an avalanche. To keep the spirit of running alive for future generations, the Teton Trail Runners donate 100% of the proceeds to the trails division of Friends of Pathways, all in the name of Chris.

The Jackson Hole Tram, called Big Red, climbs 4,139 feet to the top of Rendezvous Mountain which offers great views of Jackson Hole, Grand Teton National Park and the Snake River Valley in Wyoming. The 100-passenger cabin runs on a 68-ton steel haul rope and two track cables weighing 91.5 tons apiece. Rendezvous Mountain has over a thousand acres of skiing terrain during the winter, the most advanced terrain in Jackson Hole. The viideo was shot on September 23, 2011.

I drove 4 hours from Ogden, Utah to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in Wyoming.
The Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) is a ski resort in the western United States, at Teton Village, Wyoming. In the Teton Range of the Rocky Mountains, it is located in Teton County, 12 miles northwest of Jackson and due south of Grand Teton National Park. It is named after the historically significant Jackson Hole valley and is known for its steep terrain and a large continuous vertical drop of 4,139 ft.
This is the steepest mountain resort I've ever done.
I took my GoPro Hero 7 Black. As always it froze but still took some nice and smooth footage, also I did a timewarp or hyperlaspe video.
