Ice Cave and Snowmobile Tour of Langjökull Glacier from Reykjavik
Snowmobile across the surface of Langjokull Glacier then head down into its ice caves on a day trip from Reykjavik.
Set off from Reykjavik for one of the most exhilarating winter experiences in Iceland: snowmobiling across Langjökull Glacier. You’ll speed across snow and ice on your way to visit the man-made ice caves. There, climb below the surface and learn about the formation of the glacier from your guide. To finish off the day, you can choose to soak in a thermal swimming pool, or check out the beauty of the Hraunfossar and Barnafoss waterfalls. Either way, this is an incredible way to spend a day away from Reykjavik.

ICELAND Travel Vlog | Horseback Riding and Exploring Reykjavik | Winter 2017
1. Horseback riding on a lava field at Rauðavatn was so surreal - to be sightseeing on an Icelandic horse! It was super awesome when the horses did the tölt, one of their natural gaits.
We did the tour with Viking Horses, which is unique, being a family run company. The instructor was very attentive, and they even took us upstairs for some Icelandic snacks after the ride!
Some other places we visited were:
1. Harpa (
2. Icelandic Handknitting Association ( for that perfect wool sweater
3. Glo ( a very delicious vegan restaurant
4. Icelandic Phallological Museum ( for plenty of laughs with your friends!
Viking Sushi Adventure Voyage - Iceland
Sampling some seafood in its rawest form, straight from the ocean! Nothing like eating fresh seafood off the back of the boat, and preparing it yourself really adds to the experience. Big thank you to Iceland Unlimited for organizing our trip and of course SeaTours for a great viking adventure.
Reykjavík, Iceland in winter
Did you know that Reykjavík draws its name from the springs, literally meaning “Smokey Bay” (the Vikings were not differentiating steam from smoke!)?
On a clear night, if you are lucky, you can see Northern Lights in downtown Reykjavík, as pictured in the video.

The water is full of minerals, silica and algae and is especially good for the skin and relaxation.
