8 Extreme Haunted Houses that Take it Too Far - REUPLOAD
--This is just a re-upload of a video I posted around Halloween. I received a copyright strike for using a certain image in the previous video. Believe me I hate having to re-upload stuff :l
Extreme haunted house attractions are the ones that go above and beyond just typical human jumpscares. Extreme attractions make it more personal and horrifying: if you encounter an actor in an ordinary attraction, you keep walking after they scare you. But in these attractions, if you encounter an actor, they don't just go AHHHH and then let you go; they grab you and play around with you for a little.
Play around?
Oh, that could just mean getting shoved, getting spat on, being picked up/thrown, being forced to eat or drink something, being tied and restrained, having your head submerged in water, having spiders crawl over your face, and stuff like that.
Some of these attractions are very extreme, much more so than others, but all of them attract only those who are aware of what they're getting themselves into, and this video is not harming any reputation of any of these attractions, as this is what they want to be known for, and this is what attracts so many people. Wow that was the definition of a run-on sentence.

Los Angeles Budweiser 60th Anniversary Celebration August 23, 2014
A full day of festivities at Los Angeles Budweiser 60th Anniversary Celebration at their Van Nuys California plant, August 23, 2014
What a great day and a great event. Free Beer, Food trucks, a parade, games, brewery tours, and the famous Budweiser Clydesdale's.
Amtrak Coast Starlight, in a Sleeper Car Bedroom
The overnight 14 Coast Starlight (Amtrak) from Los Angeles to Seattle.
--3 states
--1,377 miles
--36 hours
--29 stops (a few afford a chance for some fresh air, for a few minutes)
--incalculable jaw drops at the beauty seen from along the ocean coastline to the snowy mountain ranges and backdoor views of towns and cities.
I can't recommend this enough! What an experience! What a way to see the country! The whole ride was smooth, quiet, and tranquil. Whether you enjoy a book in the glass-domed car while sipping on some coffee, or nurse a beer through the passing majesty outside your window, you are rocked gently into a relaxation that is unlike any other. The staff was ever ready to accommodate needs and/or wants. Guest speakers rode along, regaling passengers with tales of the flora, fauna, and history of the areas. Fellow passengers were in equal states of awe and wonder, evidenced by the acknowledging head tilts complete with twinkling eyes and hearty grins. Childhood fancy was stirred together with an aged appreciation and I found that though we were moving northward, time had stood still.
Note: Yes...I have since learned to refrain from filming in portrait mode, when using a phone. ????
Note: Thank you, all, who have clarified that it's a Lounge Car featured in this video, not an actual Parlour Car. I did not intend to mislead anyone; during our ride, the staff and fellow passengers were calling it the Parlour Car, and I was at fault for following the flock in my understanding. Our train's Parlour Car must have been undergoing maintenance, at the time. I did find, however, the Lounge Car to be quite enjoyable. Nevertheless, I imagine riding with an official Parlour Car would enhance the experience, greatly. Thank you all, for clarifying this, for me and for others.
Note: for mobile device viewers, annotations don't appear on-screen. At the 2:28 mark, it should be noted that There is a traditional door on this bathroom; it's just not visible, here.

Award-Winning Wines, Stunning Views at Nashoba Winery
Located in the heart of Massachusetts' apple country, Nashoba Valley Winery is one of the state's most recognized and awarded wineries.
Nashoba has a history dating back to 1980. Jack Partridge, the winery's founder, owned apple and pear trees in Somerville but had a dream to buy a New England farm and make fruit-based wines. He opened Nashoba Valley Winery out of a rented mill in Concord and in 1984 moved the winery to its current location - a sprawling 52 acre farm - in Bolton.
Partridge eventually decided to sell the winery and in conjunction with the commonwealth of Massachusetts and the Bolton Conservation Trust, the winery was sold to Richard and Barbara Pelletier in 1994.
In this video, Pelletier talks about the introduction and variety of grape wines that Nashoba produces including Vignole, Chardonnay and Merlot. Pelletier also discusses the importance of wood aging in Nashoba's fabulous barrel room and why Nashoba might just be the best place in the state for a family picnic, first date or simply a relaxing afternoon.
Nashoba Valley Winery is located at 100 Wattaquadoc Hill Rd. in Bolton, MA. The winery is open everyday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Guided tours of the wine-making facility are held every Saturday and Sunday beginning at 11:00 AM with additional tours conducted approximately every hour. The last tour of the day starts at 4:00 PM.
Editor's note: This video segment was produced by French Oak TV and is the ninth in a series profiling the Massachusetts Farm Winery & Growers Association and each of its member wineries.

The NASCAR Movement
Excitement. Tragedy. Glory. NASCAR. Few people realize that NASCAR draws the most live spectators of any sport in the entire United States. Tracks, many of which hold up to just over 300,000 spectators, are located throughout the east coast, the Midwest, and even the west coast in California.
US stock car racing originated during the time of prohibition, during which moonshine runners would modify their cars to be smaller and faster in order to evade the police. Even after the repeal of Prohibition, many drivers continued to modify their cars, and unofficial races were being held at Daytona Beach in Florida by the mid 1930's. By the 1940's, there were official races showcasing these vehicles, and in 1948, NASCAR (National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing) was founded. On June 19, 1949, the first strictly stock race was held at the Charlotte Speedway in North Carolina. Today, NASCAR has developed into an ever-growing sport, with 23 tracks and 75 million fans nationwide. There is a very stereotypical view of NASCAR fans: backwoods hicks who like guns and beer. However, this nationwide pastime has a large demographic of fans that come from all different backgrounds. Out of its fan base, 60% of NASCAR fans are men and 40% of fans are women. Additionally, almost half of NASCAR fans are over 45 years old. It is not only an adult sport, however, with 40% of NASCAR fans watching races with their family. Millions of these fans will tune into the year's most important race, the Daytona 500 (also known as The Great American Race and The Super Bowl of Stock Car Racing). It is held in Daytona Beach, Florida in February to kick off the Sprint Cup season.
The sport of NASCAR has become one that is embraced by the American people, and there is an extreme sense of patriotism coupled with it. NASCAR has come a long way since the days of prohibition. The times of hundreds of fans and slow cars are over; the days of high stakes, high energy racing are here.
Gov't of San Francisco Reveals CCP Manipulation in the Backstage

San Francisco City Administrator Ed Lee was recently
appointed interim mayor, first Chinese major
in the history of San Francisco.
The New York Times article
Behind-the-Scenes Power Politics:
The Making of a Mayor reported Rose Pak, head of
the San Francisco Chinatown Chamber of Commerce,
manipulated local politics.
Pak was accused of being a CCP spy by local
community and has undergone FBI investigation.
The City Board of Supervisors elected Lee
to fill the seat vacated by former mayor
and now Lt. Governor Gavin Newsom till January.
The New York Times article says,
Pak, together with her ally, former Mayor Willie Brown,
and politically moderate Mr. Newsom,
played important roles in this political power play.
This was finally our moment to make the first Chinese
mayor of a major city, the article quoted Ms. Pak.
How could you let that opportunity slip by?
Ed Lee, 58, is 2nd generation immigrant from
Guangdong, China.
Progressives on the Board of Supervisors said,
they did not question Mr. Lee's qualification for the job.
But they bristled at how his candidacy was
engineered by Mr. Brown and Ms. Pak, whose
style of politics they have come to resent bitterly.
Lee was elected Interim Mayor On Jan. 7 after Pak
and Brown outflanked the board's progressive wing.
Lee praised Pak in his inauguration speech, and Pak
responded that she only helped with a little push.
Now you know, she told a reporter,
why they say I play politics like a blood sport.
According to local community,
Pak was born in Hunan, China.
After immigrating to the U.S. illegally in 1967,
she worked as a reporter at San Francisco Chronicle.
Her affair with Stephen Fong, president of
the Chamber of Commerce, broke Fong's family.
After making her way into the Chamber of Commerce,
Pak disintegrated the community
and turned it pro-Chinese Communist Party.
Older residents of the Chinese community have long
seen Pak serving the interest of CCP.
She is dictatorial, often refusing to pay at restaurants.
She has mafia connections and
is known for tax evasions.
In 1990's, former Mayors Willie Brown and Art Agnos
both received funding from Pak during elections.
She installed former police commissioner Fred Lau.
She also arranges city officials' visits to China,
and has many government officials under her wing.
Thus, she became the most powerful politician
in the bay area.
Pak was received by former CCP President Jiang Zemin
during her 2001 visit to China with Mr. Brown.
Jiang highly praised her for sabotaging the bill
supporting Falun Gong in San Francisco.
The following year, another member of the delegation
Steve Wynn, received casino permit in Macau.
In 2002, San Francisco Falun Gong practitioners filed
lawsuit against visiting Beijing Mayor Liu Qi and
Liaoning Lt. Governor Xia Deren for severe
human rights violations. Pak wrote to the judge
trying to manipulate the verdict,
but District Court for the Northern District of California
found the defendants guilty.
In 2000, Falun Gong practitioners were beaten in
Chinatown. The thugs responsible for the beating
were released after Pak's intervention with the police.

Live Travel News: Carnival Ends European Sailings Plus FAA Refuses to Regulate Seat Size on Planes! Costs cruises is adding 7 new cruise ships in the next 7 years to it overall fleet. Carnival will not sail in europe for the foreseeable future. It will leave the area in the hands of it's other lines namely Cunard, Holland America, Princess, P and O, Costa and Aida. The FAA has decided it does not need to regulate seat sizes on jet planes as they are fine the way they are. All jets must be evacuated in 90 seconds in an emergency. The FAA receives simulations from the aircraft manufacturers which also select the volunteers and video the simulations. My kids love Great Wolf Lodge. They might even like it as much as Disneyland! ha ha. All my daughter wanted for her 8th birthday was to go to Great Wolf Lodge, so we packed up everything and went!
I have been 4 times now and have learned new things every time I go there! So these are the things I didn't know about Great Wolf Lodge. I am telling you, it is the BEST Waterpark I have been to. They think of everything in the waterpark and out of the waterpark!
As I was making this video there are some things that I missed!

2. They also have an outdoor pool that opens in the summer! So if you want some sunshine, you can always go outside!
3. They provide towels! Just one less thing to pack when you go there!
4. I talked about bringing food into Great Wolf Lodge - that includes take out from other places!

The Town Where Wi-Fi Is Banned: The Green Bank Telescope and the Quiet Zone
Tucked away in a valley in the Allegheny Mountains in West Virginia, is this: the Green Bank Radio Telescope, the largest steerable radio telescope in the world. And there are some rather special rules for the area around it...
Thanks to Justin Richmond-Decker and Mike Holstine at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory in Green Bank for inviting me over and letting us film at the Telescope on one of their maintenance days! For more about the Green Bank Observatory:
Want a tour? You can! (Although you won't be allowed up the telescope!)

A train ride through American history - New Orleans to New York | DW Documentary
From New Orleans to New York, a train ride aboard the Crescent takes you on an extraordinary journey through American history.
This train journey begins in the cradle of jazz - New Orleans. Three famous express trains start and terminate here: the City of New Orleans, the Sunset Limited and the Crescent, named after a New Orleans neighborhood. Every morning at 7 a.m. the Crescent sets off from New Orleans on its 1,377-mile journey from the Deep South to pulsating New York City.
The distance is covered in around 31 hours. The route takes in various famous cities on the journey northeast. Birmingham, Alabama is also known as Bombingham after the attacks launched there by the Ku Klux Klan during the civil rights movement era between 1947 and 1965. The train then heads to Atlanta, the largest city in Georgia. Charlotte in North Carolina was named nearly 250 years ago after Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, the German wife of Britain’s King George III. Our next stop is Washington D.C., capital of the United States since 1800. Beforehand that honor had gone to a city further north: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where the Declaration of Independence was proclaimed in 1776. The final stop on this unique train journey is New York City aka the Big Apple.
