We spent 7 days driving Iceland's unbelievable ring road. We saw a giant glacier, seals, mind blowing waterfalls, GEYSIRS, WHALES, met some beautiful Icelandic people, visited the Blue Lagoon and drove the whole ring road - what an absolute beast of a country!

► Hraunfossar Waterfall - A 900-meter wide waterfall that flows down into a gatorade blue river from the glacier above.
► Arnarstapi Cliffs - A beautiful stretch of coastline on the south side of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. The most famous of the lava-formed coastline is an amazing arch rock formation known as Gatklettur.
► Kirkjufellsfoss Waterfall - Stunning waterfall on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula that is one of the most popular Iceland road trip destinations because of the iconic mountain behind the waterfall.
► Akureyri - Iceland's second largest city, and a good base for exploring Northern Iceland.
► Eyjafjörður Fjord - Eyjafjörður is the longest fjord in Iceland, and where we based ourselves to see the Northern Lights because of the dark night sky.

We had such an incredible honeymoon in Iceland, and we're stoked to share our adventures around the Ring Road with you. This video features the highlights, and I've included our day-by-day itinerary below for your reference; if you ever want to visit Iceland I hope our travels can offer some assistance!
There's an Icelandic saying, þetta Reddast which translates to, It will all work out okay. That saying proved to be true throughout our adventures in Iceland (as it is with all travel, right?!)

Back in January I travelled to Iceland with two friends where we hired a 4x4, along with booking AirBnB's in various places around the Ring Road.
With no tours or excursions booked and just going whenever and wherever we wanted, we went out and managed to explore the entirety of the island in just 7 days!

Iceland: Adventure Around the Ring Road | GoPro
A video compilation project of our trip to Iceland in 2015. Soundtrack: X Ambassadors - Renegades
We had the opportunity to travel out to Iceland from June 23rd - July 2nd and drive a KuKu Campers Camper Van around the entire country - via the Ring Road - over the course of 6 days, finishing out the adventure in Reykjavik.
