Little Rock Electric Streetcar
description
River Rail Trolley
As long as the River Rail Trolley has been in existence this is my first time to ride it. I enjoyed the trip in downtown Little Rock and riding down President Clinton Ave. Exiting the trolley and visiting the Famers Market. Then, boarding the trolley later to view all the sights that I have seen before but at a different angle. I have never visited the Clinton Libruary; only viewed the exterior. Hope you enjoy watching the movie.

NYMT Holly Trolley 12.11.2010
Santa still uses reindeer power, but visitors to the New York Museum of Transportation can enjoy a ride on an authentic 80 year-old trolley car, Saturdays and Sundays, November 24 through December 16, 2012. Rides operate 11:00 to 4:00 on Saturdays and Sundays, and are included with admission to the museum.
The only trolley railroad in New York State provides a two-mile round-trip ride, recalling another era when families rode the big trolleys from their rural homes to do their holiday shopping in the city. Rides operate every half-hour, and no reservations are required.
En route, the trolley makes a station stop at Remelt's Evergreen Acres, featuring pre-cut and cut-your-own Christmas trees, wreaths and decorations. Visitors will surely want to stop there after their ride and museum tour.
Nothing says Christmas like model trains, and the museum's large model railroad will be operating several trains at one time. Other museum highlights include several trolleys, a steam locomotive, fire truck and numerous exhibits of period photographs and artifacts.
The NYMT is located at 6393 East River Road (I-390 exit 11, NY Rt. 251 West, then 1 mile north on East River Road). Admission, including trolley ride, is $5 adults, $4 under 12. (585) 533-1113.

Ottawa's Streetcars Removed 50 Years Ago.
This is a special commemorative video of the 50th anniversary of the end of the streetcar system in Ottawa Canada.
Source and permission to use the video is from Raymond Langlois.
It has some never-seen-before footage taken WAY back in the 1950's of Ottawa Streetcars in action. It was taken by Lucien Dauphinais, a Montreal Tramways streetcar
operator, who came up to Ottawa on numerous occasions during the 1950's with his 8mm film movie camera.
Some of the colour footage is a little fuzzy, but it is still useful as it shows the street scenes in the late 1950s in Ottawa. Includes Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter scenes .
It also has scenes of the 1000 series streetcars in Ottawa, rare because only 4 of this type were made, and they were withdrawn from service some time before the end of the streetcar era in 1959.
Regular venue Streetcar service in Ottawa came to on April 30, 1959.
There was a final farewell parade of Ottawa streetcars held on May 2, 1959.
Some Ottawa streetcars (most of which were made in Ottawa by the Ottawa Car Company) can be found in various museums in North America. Most Notably: Expo Rail in Delson, Quebec (South of Montreal), the Seashore Trolley Museum in Kennebunkport Maine, and the Museum of Science and Technology in Ottawa. There are also the body of OTC streetcar 905, as well as the trucks and body of OTC streetcar 696 at the main OC Transpo Garage in Ottawa. Hopefully both of these streetcars will be fully restored at some time in near future.

Old Pueblo Trolley Opening Day Ceremony Tucson, Arizona 31900 HD
Shot by Nick Spark on Super 8mm equipment, this short silent home movie shows the Old Pueblo Trolley heritage streetcar line as service was inaugurated on April 17, 1993. Two trolley cars were available for service when the line opened, and were operated in the inaugural runs: Car 10, a 1918-built Birney-type car that was ex-Pacific Electric Railway 332 and was under lease to OPT from the Orange Empire Railway Museum, and car 255, ex-Osaka, Japan (Hankai Electric Tramway), which was built in 1953.
Car 255 had been in service in Osaka until June 1992.[1] The Birney car used a trolley pole, while the Japanese car used a pantograph, as it had on its home system. Before entering service, Birney car 10 was repainted from PE colors into the old livery of the former Tucson streetcar system, whose fleet had included an ex-Douglas, Arizona, Birney car of the same type, which was in service until the abandonment of the old Tucson system in 1930.
The line that opened as a heritage streetcar in 1993 used a combination of old, abandoned, paved-over track along University Avenue that was uncovered and rehabilitated, and new track along 8th Avenue and along 4th Avenue. Most of the line is two-way single-track, but it includes some double-track. Workers from Tucson Electric Power installed the overhead trolley wire, in some cases as volunteers.
Old Pueblo Trolley is a heritage streetcar system in Tucson in the U.S. state of Arizona, opened in 1993. The trolley last ran on October 31, 2011 before service was suspended during construction of the Sun Link modern-streetcar system.
Operating on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Old Pueblo ran on just over a mile of single-track line recovered from Tucson's original street railway. From its south terminus at 5th avenue and Broadway Boulevard the trolley ran north on 4th Avenue before heading east on University Boulevard to its terminus at Tyndall Street, just west of the University of Arizona Main Gate.
