History
Gaspar de Portolá arrived in the area that would later become Beverly Hills on August 3, 1769.
By the early 1920s the population of Beverly Hills had grown enough to make the water supply a political issue.
In 1956, Paul Trousdale purchased the grounds of the Doheny Ranch and developed it into the Trousdale Estates, convincing the city of Beverly Hills to annex it. The neighborhood has been home to Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Tony Curtis, Ray Charles, President Richard Nixonand, more recently, Jennifer Aniston, David Spade, Vera Wang, and John Rich.
In the midst of the 2015 drought, Beverly Hills was found to be one of the biggest water consumers in all of California. As a result, they were asked by the state to reduce their consumption by 36%, prompting many residents to replace their lawns with native plants.
In July 2016, the City of Beverly Hills received the Livability Award from the United States Conference of Mayors for its Ambassador Program, which takes care of the city's homeless population.
Economy
Beverly Hills is home to one Fortune 500 company, Live Nation Entertainment. Since August 22, 2011, the headquarters of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer have been located in Beverly Hills.
The Los Angeles-area offices of Aeroflot and El Al are in Beverly Hills. Hilton Hotels Corporation formerly had its corporate headquarters in Beverly Hills. The original headquarters of GeoCities (at first Beverly Hills Internet) was at 9401 Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills.

I entirely created this video, primarily using the editing programs Quick GoPro, Windows Movie Maker and of course Photoshop. In order to edit this project presentation I used intro, overlayed images, used juxtapositions, transitions, parallels, that are drawn between different clips to deliver the original narrative of the video in a transformative manner that falls under Fair Use and provides unique value to my viewers. I also watermarked the video and used royalty free music as background sound.

Today we toured an amazing estate in Bel Air that might be my favorite home in Los Angeles. Where do I start; 20k sq entertainment space , lush landscaping, privacy, amazing interior space at its finest and so much more in this California mega estate. Mega mansions are known for their huge scales and kinda cold rooms but not this one. This mega mansion felt so cozy, warm and inviting. This property is definitely built with the consideration of entertaining and enjoying the outdoor spaces since its located in Los Angeles; that has amazing weather year around. The part that is so crazy about this home is the 20k sq feet entertaining space. This giga mansion `s entertainment space has several hang out / entertainment rooms, bowling alley - thats right a bowling alley! - an amazing indoor pool / spa and indoor racket ball court. Located in Bel Air neighborhood of Los Angeles, this property is close to Beverly Hills, Santa Monica and rest of the coast. As a real estate agent I see expensive homes / properties everyday but this luxury house is in my top 3 list in entire Los Angeles!
