How to Paint Your House's Exterior In denver CO
Denver CO, House's Exterior Painters 347-679-0103
For the cost of a few cases of exterior paint, plus some patching and sanding, you can have a whole new home.
A thorough scrubbing is a must before painting any exterior surface. It removes the dirt and broken-down paint residues that keep fresh coats from adhering and gets rid of mildew that grows on paint in all but the most arid climates.
Most contractors clean with pressure washers, but in the hands of someone unfamiliar with the equipment, these can gouge wood, shatter glass, and drive water behind siding and trim. Using a hose, a pump sprayer, and a scrub brush is slower but safer, and just as effective.
Before the scrubdown, protect nearby plants by misting their leaves and saturating the surrounding soil with water, pulling them away from the house, and shrouding them in fabric drop cloths. (Plants will cook under plastic.) Lay more drop cloths along the base of the walls to collect any falling paint debris.
Walls should be wet down before getting scrubbed, then washed with a gallon of water mixed with 1 cup chlorine bleach and 1 cup of either a concentrated, phosphate-free cleaner, such as a trisodium phosphate (TSP) substitute, or Jomax House Cleaner. Working in sections, from the bottom to the top, will avoid streaks. Be sure to rinse walls well before the solution dries. Wood siding and trim should be ready to paint after a day or two of dry weather.

State of Colorado
The City and County of Denver (/ˈdɛnvər/; Arapaho: Niinéniiniicíihéhe')[14] is the capital and most populous municipality of theU.S. state of Colorado. Denver is also the second-most populous county in Colorado after El Paso County.
Denver is located in the South Platte River Valley on the western edge of the High Plains just east of the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. The Denver downtown district is located immediately east of the confluence of Cherry Creek with the South Platte River, approximately 12 miles (19 km) east of the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.
Denver is nicknamed the Mile-High City because its official elevation is exactly one mile (5,280 feet or 1,609.344 meters) above sea level, making it one of the highest major cities in the United States.[9] The 105th meridian west of Greenwich, the longitudinal reference for the Mountain Time Zone, passes directly through Denver Union Station.

Looking for something to do in Colorado? Try a live escape room! Imagine, you are locked in a room, you have 60 minutes to escape, and only your wits and determination will help you to escape!
There are many live escape rooms in Colorado to choose from, and one is waiting for you.
About Escape Rooms
An escape room is a physical adventure game in which players are locked in a room and have to use elements of the room to solve a series of puzzles and escape within a set time limit. The games are physical versions of escape the room video games. Games are set in a variety of fictional locations, such as prison cells, dungeons and space stations, and are popular as team building exercises.
The earliest room was created in 2006, and escape rooms became popular in the United States, Japan, Taiwan, Canada and mainland China in the 2010s. Permanent escape rooms in fixed locations were first opened in Asia and followed later in North America, Europe, Australia, and South America. Notable organisers include AdventureRooms, ClueQuest, The Escape Hunt Experience, ClueJob, and Puzzle Break.
The earliest escape room, Origin, was created in Silicon Valley by a group of system programmers in 2006. The mysteries and challenges in the game were inspired by the works of Agatha Christie and became a popular tourist attraction.
Real Escape Game (REG) in Japan was developed by 35-year-old Takao Kato, of the Kyoto publishing company, SCRAP Co., in 2008. It is based in Kyoto, Japan and produces a free magazine by the same name. Beyond Japan, escape games appeared in Singapore from 2011. Escape games in Singapore expanded quickly with over 50 games by 2015.
In 2015, there were over 2,800 escape room venues worldwide. These are particularly lucrative for the operators, as the upfront investment can be as low as $7000 USD, while a party of 4-8 customers pay around $25-30 USD per person for one hour to solve a room puzzle, being able to generate annual revenue in the range of several hundred thousands.
A 2015 American Science Channel television game show Race to Escape is based on this theme.

Royal Gorge Bridge Colorado
Royal Gorge Bridge Colorado
Hey you guys! Thanks for joining me on another journey. Today we're at the Royal Gorge Bridge & Park in Colorado. I am still with my buddy, Cole. His dog, Gemma, got to come along with us at Royal Gorge since they are dog-friendly. It was awesome to walk across America's highest bridge! At 956 above the Arkansas River, it stretches about a quarter-mile long over the gorge. The gondola ride was incredible too. We rose to 1200 feet in the air and went back and forth over the river. The Plaza Theater had artifacts on display as well as a documentary film to watch; it was quite interesting. A couple of other things to do are North America's highest zip-lining and the Royal Rush sky coaster. Don't forget to take me up on my adventure challenge: go somewhere (it doesn't even have to be more than 300 miles from your home), video it and send me a clip. I'll choose the best one and feature it in my next video. This week's winner is: Adventure Everywhere. They show off some of their recent adventures as a family with four boys. Be sure to go watch a couple of their videos. We were treated with a spectacular sunset on the bridge, with a full moon rising in the east.

The Top 5 Reasons I Love Denver, Colorado
Over Labor Day weekend, I visited Denver for my second time and just HAD to make a vlog to share the top 5 reasons why I love Denver, Colorado.
Denver is amazing for so many reasons, like way more than 5. Here are the biggest ones: the public/street art in the RiNo district, the old homes/micro-communities around the city, people are SUPER friendly, the mountains are plentiful and it's extremely eco-friendly. Some bonus reasons why I love Denver: it's gluten-free friendly, gets a lot of sunshine and is a progressive-minded city.

Royal Gorge Bridge - In A Colorado Minute (Week 300)
- - The Royal Gorge Bridge, in Colorado, is the highest bridge in America and was the highest bridge in the world until 2001, and the highest suspension bridge until 2003. In both cases, the Chinese built something higher.
For the 300th week of my weekly 1-minute Moving Postcard video series, fashion designer and quilter Miriam Blaich (visiting from Berlin), husband Scott Solary, dog Whiskey, and I went on a little road trip to Cañon City in Fremont County, Colorado, to explore the Royal Gorge and surrounding attractions.
I ended up shooting material for 5 videos, which I will share in the coming weeks. But for now, let's take a walk across the Royal Gorge Bridge... And if you dare, we'll even take the gondola...
The Royal Gorge is about 10 miles long, with granite walls rising 1,000 feet above the winding Arkansas River. The river, then just a trickle, started carving this gorge about 3 million years ago and continues to dig out another foot every 2,500 years.
The Royal Gorge Bridge was built in 1929 as a tourist attraction. The bridge deck crosses the Arkansas River at 955 feet (291 m), its span is 880 feet (270 m), and its total length is 1,260 feet (384 m).
To walk or drive (in the mornings and evenings only) across the bridge, you have to enter the Royal Gorge Bridge and Park. The price of admission ($20) includes not only access to the bridge, but also viewing of a documentary and riding the gondola. The 360-acres park offers other rides and attractions, like zip-lining across the gorge.
A few tips: Before or after you explore the park and the bridge, turn off the main road to the park and stop to enjoy majestic vistas at the Elkhorn Picnic area. Get your ticket online to save $2. Last but not least, walking across the bridge first and then taking the gondola back requires a bit of a hike to the gondola station. If you want to avoid the trek up the hill, take the gondola across first, then leisurely walk down to the bridge.
In the video, you can see the Royal Gorge Railroad train snaking its way along the bottom of the gorge. Our original plan for week 300 was to take that train and make a video about that - because I LOVE train travel. However, even weeks in advance, tickets were sold out. But don't you worry, I already have a plan to take the train another time and share that video with you.
Oh, and the difference between a gorge and a canyon? A gorge is much wider at the top than at the bottom.
The featured song is called “Paper Wings” by Jason Shaw of He has made this and many other instrumental songs available via a CC BY 3.0 license, which is totally awesome! Thank you so much for all your creativity and generosity, Jason!
Keep an eye out for photos from the Royal Gorge that I'll be posting on my personal blog soon and for more videos shot during week 300, which I'll publish right here within the next month or so...

Colorado Capital Building
Colorado
The Colorado State Capitol Building, located at 200 East Colfax Avenue in Denver, Colorado, is the home of the Colorado legislature and the offices of the Colorado Governor and Lt. Governor. The building is intentionally reminiscent of the United States Capitol. Designed by Elijah E. Myers, it was constructed in the 1890s from Colorado white granite. The distinctive gold dome consists of a plate of real gold, first added in 1908, commemorating the Colorado Gold Rush. The building is part of Denver's Civic Center area.
Serving as the beginning of the Capitol Hill district, the historic building sits slightly higher than the rest of downtown Denver. The main entrance hall is open 180 feet (55 m) to the top of the dome, about the height of an 18-story building. Additionally, the official elevation of Denver is measured outside the west entrance to the building, where the fifteenth step is engraved with the words One Mile Above Sea Level. From this step, around dusk, a magnificent view of the sun setting behind the Rocky Mountains can be taken-in at 5,280 feet (1,609 m). A second mile high marker was set in the 18th step in 1969 when Colorado State University students resurveyed the elevation. Finally, in 2003, an even more accurate measurement was made with modern means and the 13th step was identified as being one mile (1.6 km) high where a 3rd marker was installed.
The interior of the building uses copious amounts of Colorado Rose Onyx, a rare rose marble from a quarry near Beulah, Colorado. The amount used in the building consumed the entire known supply. White Yule Marble from the quarries near Marble, Colorado was also used throughout the capitol for the floors. Many designs have been found in the marble including an image resembling George Washington and another of Molly Brown. [1]
Colorado State Capitol back viewMany of the windows are stained glass, depicting people or events related to the history of Colorado. The halls are decorated with portraits of every president of the United States.
On July 16, 2007, Colorado State Patrolmen guarding the Capitol shot and killed a man carrying a gun who called himself The Emperor and said he had come to take over the state government[1].
