Roubidoux Spring, September 2013
A beautiful film without music of the majestic Roubidoux Spring in the Waynesville Missouri city limits. The spring flows into Roubidoux River and keeps the stream cold enough for the blue ribbon trout opportunities! The spring was also a stopping point in the 19th century for the travelers on the Trail of Tears. Now it is a place for romantic wedding vows to be exchanged. It's also along the famous Route 66 highway in Pulaski County! There are lots of reasons to visit Missouri and this is just one of them!

Waynesville Big Spring 1994
Video of the Waynesville, Missouri Big Spring (also called the Roubidoux Spring) I took in 1994. In 1914 its output was measured at 7,750,000 gals./day (12 cfs), but a cave diving site says its peak output during flood can be 200 cfs.

Trout Fishing in the Ozarks - Special Waterways - Creeks
Missouri has some great trout fishing, for both Brown & Rainbow Trout, there's 4 trout parks, Lake TaneyComo where they claim might hold the next world record brown, & the Roubidoux creek, which most people don't know, is the longest trout stocked stream in the state, since around the mid 1800's & still gets stocked today by MO conservation, but it has native born trout in it, the roubidoux spring pumps out millions of gallons of cold sping water every minute & also across from the spring in Waynesville MO is also the most northern part of the Trail of Tears..

Missouri Stream Team - 20 Years (1 of 3)
(Part 1 of 3) The Missouri Stream Team program celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2009. The citizen-led stream conservation movement is a joint effort of the Conservation Federation of Missouri and the Departments of Conservation and Natural Resources. On Feb. 1, 1989 the Roubidoux Fly Fishers became Stream Team No. 1. Since then, an estimated 80,000 citizens have formed 4,000 Stream Teams.
CANNON BALL SPRING IN LAKE WAPPAPELO IN SOUTHERN MISSOURI
I dove Cannon Ball and had 50'-60' vis. My dive partner said that I was spoiled with my first time diving there. This Missouri cave reminded me of the few Florida caves I dove during my training, my Gopro for some reason malfunctioned and some of the video files were corrupted, and I lost a bunch of footage. I will just have to dive it again and to get the replacement video lol. If you are a cave diver and want to come to Missouri caves, I highly recommend Cannon Ball!
