Det Kgl. Bibliotek – Aarhus har været gennem en omfattende ombygning og har fået flotte, moderne rammer. Biblioteket ligger i tilknytning til AU Campus, og her er plads til både studieaktivitet, afslapning og socialt samvær. Biblioteket vandt Nohrcons pris for Årets skolebyggeri 2018 for den flotte transformation.
I videoen kan du komme med kreativ leder og arkitekt Anna Kathrine Bisgaard Sørensen fra Arkitema med på en virtuel tur rundt i biblioteket.

Biblioteket ligger i 4 etager for foden af det ikoniske Bogtårn på AU Campus. Her er bl.a. studiearbejdspladser, forskellige læsesale, kantine, café/avis- og tidsskriftlæserum, seminar- og møderum og en række velfærdsfaciliteter – her kan f.eks. nævnes de dejlige massagestole. Her har de studerende rig mulighed for både at være faglig og social.
Det Kgl. Bibliotek – Aarhus er en del af Danmarks Nationalbibliotek, og er, sammen med det Kgl. Bibliotek – København, Danmarks største forsknings- og universitetsbibliotek. Den 1. januar 2017 blev de to biblioteker samlet under navnet Det Kgl. Bibliotek.
Om Nohrcon:
Nohrcon udbyder kurser, konferencer og studieture inden for offentlige indkøb og byggeri - især med fokus på de juridiske forhold der gør sig gældende, men virksomheden fungerer samtidig også som videnscenter for udbuds- og byggebranchen - bl.a. ved at udgive videoer med ansvarlige arkitekter, der fortæller om et interessant byggeprojekt.
Derudover udsender Nohrcon seks gratis nyhedsbreve, samt publicerer en årlig rapport over de kommunale anlægsinvesteringer. Desuden kan man i Vidensbanken på Nohrcon's hjemmeside nohrcon.dk finde nye domme og kendelser, offentliggjorte ordretildelinger, artikler mv.
Nohrcon har ligeledes fem LinkedIn-grupper og tre Facebook-sider deriblandt om de tre emner Fremtidens sundhedsbyggeri, Fremtidens skolebyggeri og Fremtidens kontorbyggeri. Fremtidens skolebyggeri har til formål at øge videndelingen inden for byggeri af skoler og daginstitutioner i Skandinavien ved at facilitere en platform for dialog om emnet.
