Woman drops career to become professional huntress in Scotland
Charlie Blance 20, now living on the Isle of Rum - a national nature reserve 20 miles off the West Coast of Scotland, said she 'stuck out like a sore thumb' in urban environments and craved a life in the wilderness. She landed a role as a trainee nature reserve worker on the Isle of Rum. She is required to take part in annual red deer culls (right and inset)) killing up to 20, as part of her job.

Danny MacAskill’s Wee Day Out
► Go behind the scenes here:
Want to see what Danny MacAskill does on his day off? Wee Day Out explores the rural landscape around Edinburgh in a film that sets out to capture the simple fun of a ride in the country with moments of incredible riding and a touch of humor. Danny pulls off never-seen-before tricks, most of which would normally be assumed impossible on a mountain bike, like leaping onto a single train track, turning a hay bale into a giant unicycle, riding over a cottage, and disappearing into a 6ft puddle. Oh, and keep an eye out for a cameo from Danny's dad, Peter!

Rum / Canna/ Muck /Eigg/ Cullins Isle of Skye & Knoydart -
The Small Isles of Rum, Eigg, Muck and Canna lie to the south of Skye in the clean, clear waters of the Hebridean Sea. Each island is small, yet completely different and offers the chance to escape from the cares and worries of modern, mainland life. We will visit the two largest, Rum and Eigg, and experience something of the magic of life on a small island. Rum is one of Scotland's finest National Nature Reserves, of international importance for many of its plants, habitats and birds. Eigg is the second largest in the Small Isles group after Rum, with a distinctive outline provided by a sloping ridge of lava known as the Sgurr which runs down the island like the backbone of some prehistoric creature .

The World's Most Beautiful Islands
Milos (Greece)
Shutterstock
Pale rock meets sapphire water on Milos, a tiny island at the southwestern tip of the Greek Cyclades.
This is where the famed Venus de Milo was discovered in 1820, and the island -- like the statue -- does spectacular justice to the ancient goddess of love.
Whitewashed houses with blue shutters mirror the island's natural color scheme, and the coast has eroded into a wonderland of arches, coves and white-sand beaches that invite discovery. The Kleftiko caves, which you can reach only by water, are amazing.
Go to: Sip chilled ouzo at a beach-side restaurant, and try grilled seafood that's fresh from the Aegean. Milos can be reached by a 40-minute flight or a ferry from Athens (ferries take between three and seven hours).
Bartolomé (Ecuador)
Shutterstock
A wilderness preserve that's among the Galápagos' most beautiful islands, Bartolomé is a jewel-toned setting for charismatic penguins, skittering crabs and marine iguanas.

Fregate (Seychelles)
Lapped by the Indian Ocean in a dozen hues, Fregate is a taste of the Seychelles at their dreamiest.
Wild landscapes still thrive on the private island, which is a haven from the Seychelles' more developed shores. Giant aldabra tortoises saunter through the understory here, while two species of sea turtles crawl ashore to lay their eggs.
Granite cliffs swerve for the breakers, giving way to powdery beaches: one, Anse Macquereau, can be turned into a perfectly private getaway. A beach occupied sign dangles from a nearby palm tree, inviting visitors to reserve the picture-perfect cove for themselves.
Visitors to Fregate stay in the island's exclusive lodge; for the ultimate escape, you can rent out the entire island.
t. Lucia (Lesser Antilles)

Bright-painted houses are strewn like confetti across St. Lucia's steeply pitched slopes, which veer from rocky summits to the Caribbean shoreline.
A matched set of volcanic peaks, the Pitons, are the spectacular centerpiece of this beautiful island.
Lush forest at the base of the mountains, which are part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, give way to miniaturized elfin woodlands at higher elevations. Here, look for fairy-sized hummingbirds, delicate ferns and trails shrouded in mist.
Go to: Hike to the summit of Gros Piton, then enjoy post-trail rum drinks at nearby Sugar Beach -- or from a private infinity pool with views of the mountains.
Jura (Scotland)
Shutterstock
Scotland's wild and wind-scoured Inner Hebrides splinter into a maze of rocky isles. And with bare summits and clear-flowing streams, Jura is among the most beautiful islands in the archipelago.
Walking trails ramble through mountains home to native red deer, while golden eagles and sea eagles wheel overhead.
It's a magnificent landscape that's drawn generations of adventurers and escapists. For lovers of Scotch whisky, however, the famed Isle of Jura distillery is a pilgrimage place for heavily peated single-malt made in towering copper pot stills.
Komodo Island (Indonesia)
Shutterstock
From a lipstick-pink beach to free-roaming lizards, Komodo Island is a topsy-turvy tropical paradise pulled straight from a fever dream.
Here, thorny savanna rolls towards a shoreline lapped by crystalline water, dramatically varied ecosystems that provide shelter for oddball wildlife.
The island's most famous residents are Komodo dragons, slow-moving creatures with sharp teeth and deadly venom.
Senja Island (Norway)
High mountains swoop toward indigo water off Senja Island, a showstopping destination in a country with more than 50,000 beautiful islands.
Mo'orea (French Polynesia)
A fringing reef wraps the island of Mo'orea in a sheltered embrace, creating a creamy blue lagoon that's a natural playground for swimming and snorkeling.
Palawan, Philippines
Protected within the UNESCO-listed Palawan Biosphere Reserve, the island of Palawan is a gorgeous haven of pale sand and clear water.
Rugged cliffs and mangroves are scenic foils for Palawan's many secret beaches, from the coves of El Nido to this exclusive paradise getaway.
But the island's most remarkable hiding place might be in Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where an underground river slips through a maze of limestone caverns.
Go to: Ride a tidal river deep into a limestone cave system, then bask away the afternoon on a postcard-ready beach.
Kaua'i (United States)
Shutterstock
With a red-hot origin story as an active volcano, Kaua'i's lava tubes are just the start of the island's searing beauty.
Native forest here provides habitat for bird species that only live in the Hawaiian islands, and a trip into the wilderness reveals hanging valleys and towering waterfalls above crystal-clear freshwater pools.

Red Deer Rut/ Mating Season. Sir David Attenborough's opinion
This is a clip from RHYTHMS OF NATURE IN THE BARYCZ VALLEY movie.
This film tells the story about nature in the Barycz River valley and enormous Milicz ponds. This area is located in the south-western part of Poland (in the middle of Europe). I and my wife made it for 2 years.
Sir David Attenborough, a world-famous BBC nature documentary film maker, after watching the film Rhythms of Nature in the Barycz Valley wrote:
I have viewed Rhythms of Nature with great pleasure.
A lovely place, beautifully filmed

Sunday shave with Van Yulay Black Dragon
ps://vanyulay.com/product/shaving-soap-products/all-shaving-soap/black-dragon-shaving-soap/
Description of Shaving Soap Scent:
Our Dragon’ s Blood is layers of cedar-wood, orange, and patchouli infused with romantic notes such as rose, jasmine and lilac with natural essential oils, including blood orange and grapefruit.
CaD Cologne & Aftershave is a very special concoction for me, a combination of everything I enjoy about formulating. The scent needs to be long lasting but at the same time delicate and gentle on the skin. I have included my usual favorites, Alum and Menthol...but also decided to add some more depth to the scent profile with Rose Water while adding, at the same time, a tad more awesomeness. Glycerin and Alum are married together to provide all with a most excellent post-shave feel while the slight menthol kick wakes you up and creates a rather sensual dry down effect!

The White Sands National Park is a natural wonder, a desert in New Mexico, USA. It is a field of white dunes (275 sq mi/700 sq km) formed of white gypsum crystals. The desert is the world's largest gypsum dunefield.

Red deer rutting season in the New Forest
A mature male that has netted himself a harem is very dedicated. He practically stops eating, focusing instead on keeping his hinds near and his competitors at bay. If you're a red deer stag, one of the ways you make sure that your adversaries know you mean business – and that you're big – is roaring. And you don't let up. You can keep roaring all day, and through the night too, twice a minute, if necessary.
