GILI MENO UNDERWATER SCULPTURE / AMAZING STAND UP PADDLE YOGA ????♀️ / BALI
Did a 3 island snorkel trip on Gili Meno, Air and Trawangan, good value at around £4 each
The highlights were the Turtles and the underwater sculpture in Meno, actually designed by a British guy
On our return we saw a lady doing stand up yoga on a paddleboard, how she managed to balance with that 1 litre water bottle on her head god only knows! She'd for sure be fine holding a pint if she'd had one too many!!

Gili Trawangan Island
Hotel Vila Ombak is located on the South Eastern side of the popular paradise island of Gili Trawangan (Lombok). Gili Trawangan is 7.5km in circumference (2.5km x 3km). Gili Trawangan is the largest of the three islands that make up “The Gilis”, also consisting of Gili Air, Gili Meno. These islands are renowned for their white sandy beaches beautiful crystal clear waters, diverse, thriving marine life, relaxed peaceful atmosphere by day and active, vibrant night life.
Transport
As there are no cars or motorbikes on the island, there are a few ways to get around on Gili Trawangan. You can walk, you can ride a bike or take a cidomo (horse-cart). The local transport on the island is called a cidomo (hose-cart) – each cozy horse cart is owned by a local villager or family as a means to make an income. As a way to support the local island economy and as another fun activity to enjoy on your holiday - we do recommend an “island tour” by cidomo.
Things to do
Surrounded by thriving marine life, Gili Trawangan is perfect for water-based activities, including snorkeling, diving and fishing. Over the years, other facilities have been introduced to the island to include more adventure based watersports including kite surfing, stand-up paddle boarding, sea kayaking and much more. If you would prefer more land-based activities you can visit the local “turtle sanctuary” where turtle hatchlings are kept and nurtured until they are strong enough to swim out to sea on their own. Horse Riding and yoga are two other popular activities that can be found on Gili Trawangan.
There is a local art market and a variety of boutiques for those after a retail experience, and for the foodies – a myriad of beach front restaurants, pubs and bars are available each with their own atmosphere and cuisines.

CHEAP ACTIVITIES ON GILI TRAWANGAN - [VLOG #4]
Good Evening from Bali Happiness Crossing Family! :)
The 4th daily Vlog is out NOW, go watch it & enjoy.
We had amazing breakfast at our hotel @Woodstock, Gili Trawangan.
We went to the beach to look for a SUP (Stand Up Paddle Board) and found one for 80k Rupiah = 8 AUD for an hour.
After that we had some lunch in our fav place @Juku Marlin right by the beach to dry out a little bit.
One spot that we wanted to see was the View Point which is the highest Point of the Island Gili Trawangan, so we decided to
walk 20 mins up the stairs to be able to see the beautiful view from up there.
Sweaty & full of sticky mosquito spray we went home to take a shower & get ready for dinner. We wanted to try out the local Night market
which is a cheap & tasty dinner option here on the Island.
We had a great experience, amazing fish with a side of rice & veggies.
After that we treated ourselves with some dessert @Ahaa Crepe & Martabak.
If you look for some cheap local dessert come & ask for Eddie! :)
That was our full day vlog! :)
