FULL MOON SUP YOGA IN AHANGAMA (Travel More Ep. 03)
We went over to experience this unique form of meditation. SUP is 'Stand Up Paddleboarding' and it is usally done in calm waters. SUP Yoga is taking it a step further by doing Yoga meditation on a paddleboard in the river :)

Talalla Retreat Location
Talalla Retreat is located on the southern tip of Sri Lanka between Matara and Tangalla.
The distance from Colombo is about 180km.
Currently all flights into Sri Lanka land at Colombo ariport, one hour north of Colombo city. You may choose to to drive directly to Talalla from the airport or spend a night in Colombo. We can help assist with transport arrangements, just let us know what is required upon booking.
Talalla Retreat Accommodation
Elegantly appointed villa style accommodation amid vast emerald grounds promises a private world of barefoot luxury and the ultimate environment to totally chill out.
Eight two-storey villas each contain four spacious bedrooms with distinct tropical character. All rooms are bright and airy, boasting generous open sky-marble bathroom, and private balcony or patio with lush oasis views. There is no need for air conditioning as all rooms are cooled by natural sea breezes and ceiling fans.
Our aim is for you to leave us with a feeling of peace and serenity, so no in-room tv or entertainment centres are provided. Rather, your senses will be treated by the tranquil sights and sounds of Sri Lanka's magical natural environment.
Talalla accommodation is immaculately serviced every day, and amenities like laundry and ironing are available.

We would like you to leave us feeling enriched, calmed and rested.
Our location is our greatest facility - the surroundings are lush and tranquil, and our beach is truly breathtaking.
In addition to usual hotel facilities we also have a sparkling pool, a spa and beauty treatment space, and we are home to one of Asia's largest yoga spaces.
Yoga Retreats Sri Lanka
Talalla Retreat Sri Lanka has been created to cater for facilitated retreats of groups of up to 50 participants.
Our areas of interest include, but are not limited to, Yoga, Tai Chi, martial arts, detox, dance and celebrations.
The pavilion is custom built to hold retreats, intensives and workshops. It is open to cooling sea breezes and overlooks the tranquil gardens and pool. We provide all accommodation and food and can assist with internal transfer arrangements. Prices for bookings of this nature are devised individually.
Talalla Surfing
During the surfing season we perform a daily surf check to seek out the best breaks in the local area. Surf lessons and group bookings can be arranged on request.

Pool
Our spring water swimming pool features at the centre of Talalla's lush gardens and is conveniently close to the restaurant in the event of a poolside craving.
It is 20m long and 9m wide, ideal for lap swimmers or lazy days just floating around.
Communications
To enhance the escape from the stress of everyday life, we do not offer in room telephones or internet access.
However, wireless broadband is available in our restaurant, mobile telephone reception is good, and fax and telephone facilities are available in our office.
