MORE THAN BIOLOGICAL BAND'S offering for all, specially those away from home, the Philippines and have not been home for Christmas for a long time, most specially our OVERSEAS FILIPINO WORKERS (OFW) heroes missing the Philippine Christmas.
MORE THAN BIOLOGICAL band attends the 9th DAY OF SIMBANG GABI, the last simbang gabi for 2016, 24 December 2016, 0430 to 0530H mass. St. Joseph the Worker Parish (bamboo organ church), Las Pinas city, Metro Manila Philippines.
When we got to the church looking for a place to park the church was still dark and when we checked on the time it was only 0251H and only a few Christmas lights and parols (star shaped Christmas lanterns) were tuned on. This was good, it gave us more time to make trial videos and make adjustments on the exposure. This was the first time we were this too early but this was a blessing, earlier is good.
Thank you to all who served and attended the mass specially Fr. Ricky Pacoma who officiated the mass and kind enough to talked with us after the mass and have pictures taken with us, he has also visited our MORE THAN BIOLOGICAL Band page. Special thanks to Mrs. Naty Abellardo, Dalia Aguilar and Melania Reyes who gave us a space near the isles so we can take better videos of the mass.
We could really do better with a good video camera, we are only using an android cell phone camera.
I hope and pray that some of you could help us with a better video camera so we can have better quality videos to share.

SIMBANG GABI- Is an Advent Season 9 consecutive novena dawn mass that starts on the 16th of December and ends on the 24th of December.

2014-07-12 : Bamboo Organ at St. Joseph's Church
Our 1st visit on our trip was to St. Joseph’s Church in Las Pinas, home of the 19th Century “bamboo organ”, made entirely of bamboo. We took the tour of the church museum and bamboo organ, learning some history of the organ, and how it works. Vanessa also played us a few songs on the organ, since she plays for the church.
This is a must visit Church, when you visit the Philippines, due to its rich history and it’s famous bamboo organ.
