Saint Pantaleon , counted in the West among the late-medieval Fourteen Holy Helpers and in the East as one of the Holy Unmercenary Healers, was a martyr of Nicomedia in Bithynia during the Diocletian persecution of 305 AD.Though there is evidence to suggest that a martyr named Pantaleon existed, some consider the stories of his life and death to be purely legendary.

Cologne - City on the Rhine | Discover Germany
The Rhine, the cathedral, the old town, the excellent museums and not least the population's easy-going sociability make Cologne one of Germany's most popular travel destinations.
Cologne Cathedral is the city's main landmark. It's considered a masterpiece of the Gothic style and is on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Inside are many works of art, including the golden shrine of the Magi.In addition, twelve Romanesque churches attest to Cologne's magnificence in the Middle Ages. Ruins of churches form the foundation of the city's newest museum. In Kolumba, the art museum of the diocese, exhibits from two millennia of western civilization are on show. If you're more interested in modern movements such as pop art and the Russian avant-garde, you'll find what you're looking for in the Museum Ludwig. It's considered one of the most important European museums of its kind.

Great St Martin Church (Groß Sankt Martin), Cologne (Köln), Germany - 26th August, 2012
The Great Saint Martin Church (Groß Sankt Martin) is a Romanesque Catholic church in Cologne, Germany. Its foundations (circa 960 AD) rest on remnants of a Roman chapel, built on what was then an island in the Rhine. The church was later transformed into a Benedictine monastery. The current buildings, including a soaring crossing tower that is a landmark of Cologne's Old Town, were erected between 1150-1250. The architecture of its eastern end forms a triconch or trefoil plan, consisting of three apses around the crossing, similar to that at St. Maria im Kapitol. The church was badly damaged in World War II, with restoration work completed in 1985.
As of 2009 Great Saint Martin is being used by a branch of the Monastic Fraternities of Jerusalem and is open for visits again.
This video features footage on the outside of the church, with the church architecture, including the tower, as well as the church interior, with stained glass windows, statues and other detail, there is also footage within the basement, where excavation works of a Roman tomb are taking place.
