Headed out to the reef with Fred and Stewart on a perfectly calm day. You could tell it was going to be a good day when the bait basically lined up to climb on board. Heavy chumming on top and bottom brought as many fish that we wanted to catch.

Key West Charter Boat Fishing
We took a trip down to Key West. While we were there we climbed aboard the Salty Goat Fishing charter boat. Although we didn't have the most successful day of fishing (I believe due to a gentleman bringing a Banana on the boat) we still had a great time! Beverly and I only caught a couple non-keeper fish so we went on our merry way after the day was done. We got a tan and saw the beautiful Tarpon feeding dockside. After the boat we went to Dante's for a snack and then back to our Hostel the NYAH. Look out for more videos from our trip to come!

Florida Keys dolphin fishing at it's best! Spent a few days down in Marathon, FL in the Florida Keys chasing dolphin mahi mahi, did pretty well and had a blast! Fished in the 450 - 650 range and did good every day, not many peanuts, most fish went in the box wih multiple gaffers each day. Lost a 40 - 50 lb dolphin mahi mahi due to a clueless boater running over our line, wish we could show you that one! The Florida Keys are where its at for the best fishing inshore and offshore, you can do it all in one day. Mahi Mahi dolphin fish tacos at the end of the day with a margarita poolside, now we're talking. This is how to catch mahi mahi. This is how catch dolphin!
Kingfish, Cobia and Snappers - Offshore Fishing in Florida - 4K
I went offshore fishing in Cape Canaveral for Kingfish, Cobia and Red Snappers with Capt. Scott Lum and Corey Pagano from Tackle Crafters. We started the day off netting bait in the Port. Once we filled our live wells, we headed offshore and started fishing for kingfish. After catching half a dozen kings, we moved inshore to a shallow wreck to go fishing for red snappers and cobia.

What's going on folks! Here in Northwest Florida the weather has been extremely hectic lately. For about a week straight, we had showers and thunderstorms every single day. Luckily, me and Taylor had a free afternoon that looked decent as far as the weather goes. We got out to the spot and started catching live baits right off the bat. We ended up catching Croakers, Bull Minnows, Pinfish, and Menhaden. The weather was definitely not the best, but we stuck it out and managed to get some quality fish nonetheless! Fl Keys Adventuring #5 - Upper Sugarloaf Old State Road 4A + (Catch and Cook)
Windy days doesn't mean you can't get out and enjoy the Florida Keys. I decided to do a different style of trip this time. On a prior video, I walked the end stretch of Old State Road 4A. This time I wanted to cover some ground so I prepped the old Schwinn mountain bike, brought out the pink backpack, and stuffed it with some fishing and cooking equipment.
It is a fairly casual bike ride and a great place for an evening stroll with quite a few water access points as well as a jumping bridge. Plenty of out of the way spots for a nice picnic. A great place to go with the family.
To make it a bit more interesting as I wasn't going to be doing any swimming, I decided to bring a little ultralight two piece rod and reel and do a quick shore lunch. I brought some cooked rice and some shredded cabbage, a whole avocado, and some cooking oil. Basically, all I had to add was a small fish for protein.

SALTWATER FISHING !!! ( Great Day Fishing at Key Largo Bridge) NICE MUTTON SNAPPER!!!
Had a good day fishing at key largo bridge. We caught a couple of gag groupers, a couple of mutton snappers, a really nice mangrove, and about 40 grunts. I have never caught so many grunts in one day.

January 25th, 2017 -- My 11th outing of 2017. In the morning, I go back to the Anglin's Pier in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea and attempt to catch as many Species of fish as possible in a two hours interval. :) Let's call this the 2 Hours Saltwater Multi-Species Challenge.
