3rd workout of the day. This morning I did arms at gym, walked 1 mile at the track and now this. Follow me on this journey.
Manhattan Beach Sand Dune of DEATH!
After a huge week of training Chase Budinger and I decided to attack the MASSIVE sand dune in Manhattan Beach CA.
You have to register online and then pay a dollar. I can honestly say its the best workout for a dollar I have had in my entire life.
Just walking up the hill as a warm up my legs and gluten were burning beyond belief. I will list our workout below.
The Chase Budinger special:
1. Walk to the top
2. Sprint to the top
3. Start half way up and run 5 sprints to the top
4. Start at the bottom, 4 shuffles- 2 facing left - 2 facing right for 20ft then sprint to half way point (about 20yds)
5. 4 backpedals 20yds up hill
6. Finish with another full sprint to the top.
Good luck and take it slow. It is way gnarlier than you think.

An awesome sand dune park in Manhattan Beach, California, just south of LA Airport and about eight blocks from the beach, The park has been a fun and serious place to play and work out on the sand dune, steps alongside the dune and wooded walkway trails as well as the usual park playground at the bottom (The Dune portion of the park is temporarily closed). Views from the top looking down show El Segundo's Chevron Oil Refinery, a military storage and supply facility, a view to the east at residential Manhattan beach and directly below is the park entrance and playground for the kids.
