????Go to Cebu North Bus terminal and ride a jeepney going to Danao City or ride a van/bus bound for Carmen/Catmon/Sogod/Borbon. (If you are somewhere near Mandaue City, you can ride a Danao-bound jeepney (#27) along National Highway fronting San Miguel Brewery)
????If you took a jeepney, from Danao City Terminal, walk your way towards Danao Port. The port is very near Jollibee. If you took a van/bus bound for Carmen/Catmon/Sogod - disembark at Jollibee Danao.
????Buy a ticket at Danao Port (P200 aircon/P180 open air - one way) or to avoid the lines, prior to your departure, you may buy your tickets at Jomalia Shipping/Majestic Legacy office near Subangdaku Barangay Hall in Mandaue City, very near Cebu North Bus Terminal. You may call them at (032)346-0421 to 23.
????When you arrived in Consuelo Port in San Francisco, Camotes, you will be greeted by the motorbike (habal habal)/multicab (mini-jeepney) drivers offering you tour packages. Rates vary depending on your points of interests

HOW TO GET TO CAMOTES ISLANDS?
We flew in via Mactan Intl Airport in Cebu City. Then the next day we proceed to Cebu Ferry Passenger Terminal 1 and we took the 6:00am ferry ride with Oceanjet. Travel time was 2 hours.
Cost: P500 / way + P25 Terminal Fee (Cebu City) + P5 Terminal Fee (Camotes Island)
Cheaper Alternative but Longer Travel Time from Cebu City:
From Cebu City, take a bus from Cebu North Terminal heading to Danao port. Take a passenger pump boat from Danao to Poro, Camotes Island. Total travel time from the city is 4 hours.
Cost: P35 (bus) + P220 (boat) - please reconfirm rates upon arrival there
WHERE DID WE STAY IN CAMOTES ISLANDS?
For budget conscious traveler like me but needed an aircon room, I chose RMS Travelers Inn which I booked via Agoda. Nothing fancy. Room is big but toilet/shower is really small. (Yung tipong pwede ka ng maligo while doing that other thing. Hahaha.) We only stayed there for less than 12 hours just to sleep.

HOW ABOUT THE TOURS?
As soon as you got out of the pier, there will be a lot of tricycle / multicab drivers who’ll welcome you and offer you their services. All of them are accredited by the Tourism Office so you can choose what your gut tells you is a good one.
But based on our experience, I highly recommend Kuya Jed’s services. Siya yung napili naming that time and glad we did because he’s super nice. He’s one of those guides’ who goes for an extra mile just to make his clients happy. OK lang sa kanya kahit ginabi na kami and he even invited us to his relative’s house for lunch since it was the town fiesta then. Yes! Libre lunch! ????

From Cebu, you can take a fast craft at Mactan Wharf to Poro Camotes (Php 500 one-way). And for Roro vessel, it will be at Danao Port (Economy Php 220 - Aircon Php 250)
