Visit to Angel Island in the San Francisco Bay (includes tramlapse tour)
A visit to the largest island in San Francisco Bay: Angel Island. On an unusually warm December day. With the exception of a small portion that is a U.S. Coast Guard Station, the entire island is a California State Park. We arrive and leave by ferry, and take a tramlapse tour around the island, stopping at about 13 different points of interest, including some very good views and a bit of history, too (my first ever tramlapse video). We'll even briefly teleport over to the Golden Gate Bridge.
There are several editing mistakes that snuck through in a few places, oh well... Maybe we'll have a contest to see who can find them all.

Golden Gate symbol of San Francisco international orange paint
Do you know, Nine million people visit the Golden Gate Bridge each year.
The Golden Gate Bridge was built, if you can believe it,
as a means for locals to travel by car between San Francisco and Marin County.
Before the bridge was built, the only practical short route between San Francisco and what is now Marin County was by boat across a section of San Francisco Bay.
A ferry service began as early as 1820, with a regularly scheduled service beginning in the 1840s for the purpose of transporting water to San Francisco
The Golden Gate Bridge officially opened on May 27, 1937, the longest bridge span in the world at the time.
The first public crossing had taken place the day before, when 200,000 people walked, ran and even roller skated over the new bridge.
With its tall towers and famous trademarked international orange paint job, the bridge quickly became a famous American landmark, and a symbol of San Francisco.
A marvel of modern engineering, the Golden Gate Bridge is 1.7 miles long and 90 feet wide.
Its 4,200-foot main span between the two towers was the longest for a suspension bridge until 1981,
while its 746-foot towers made it the tallest bridge of any type until 1993.
The Golden Gate Bridge withstood the destructive Loma Prieta earthquake of 1989,
and was closed to traffic only three times in its first 75 years due to weather conditions.
The Bay Bridge technically came first, and so did the Ferry Building, Coit Tower and Ghirardelli Square.
But with the completion of the Golden Gate Bridge in 1937, the city had its centerpiece.
The Art Deco angles and solid engineering were arguably eclipsed by the last-minute
decision to paint the structure International Orange instead of gray.
That decision ensured that no one who saw the bridge would ever forget the image.
The Golden Gate Bridge is an iconic structure connecting the city of San Francisco to Marin County, California.
It spans almost two miles across the Golden Gate,
the narrow strait where San Francisco Bay opens to meet the Pacific Ocean.
The dream of connecting San Francisco to its northern neighbors became a reality when construction commenced in 1933.
Given the chance for steady employment amid the Great Depression,
construction crews braved treacherous conditions as the roadway and towers took shape over open water.
The Golden Gate Bridge, opened to the public in 1937, has endured as a picture-perfect landmark and an engineering marvel.
The roadway was completed on April 19, 1937, and the bridge officially opened to pedestrians on May 27 of that year.
As part of the festivities, Strauss dedicated a poem titled “A Mighty Task Is Done.”
The following day, President Franklin D. Roosevelt announced that the bridge was open to cars and
the rest of the world via White House telegraph.
