Better Qualified has teamed up with the affiliates to help people build credit through secured credit cards. Secured credit cards require that people put a down payment as collateral, so that they can build their credit risk free. The proven credit management program will help people manage their credit and save money. The Better Qualified credit management process guarantees the best results. Better Qualified is proud to employ some of the most knowledgeable, helpful and results-driven professionals in the industry. Our credit management experts work with you throughout the process to make sure you not only see results, but that you understand how to maintain healthy credit in the future. Media Credits Column Installment credit is used for a specific purpose, for a defined amount and for a specific period. Payments are usually the same amount each month. Examples of purchases made on installment credit include large appliances, automobiles and furniture. These kinds of loans usually offer lower interest rates than revolving credit. For example, a car company holds a lien on the car until the car loan is repaid. The total amount of the principal and interest is repaid within a predefined period. If the customer defaults on the loan payments, the company can repossess the car and charge penalties. Better Qualified has developed a proven credit management program that will help you manage your credit and save money. Grants Pass, Oregon, in Josephine county, is 24 miles W of Medford, Oregon and 215 miles S of Portland, Oregon. About 23,003 people live in Grants Pass.Grants Pass is home to many parks and open spaces. Some of these include the Westholm Park, Lawnridge Park, Tussing Park, George H Eckstein Park and Riverside Park. The Grants Pass Museum of Art and the Josephine County Historical Society Museum provide insight into the history of this area. The Illinois River Forks State Park, Oregon Caves and Siskiyou National Forest are also worth visiting. Local celebrations include the Asian Cultural Festival, Wild Rogue Balloon Festival and the Josephine County Fair. One way that can make a significant jump for your score is by paying down balances. The process of paying down balances is called utilization ratio. As high utilization ratio also indicates deeper financial problems, it’s time to do some serious budgeting if your ratio creeps up. On an average, Paul Oster, CEO Better Qualified recommends, 'keeping your utilization ratio below 30%.' This is calculated using the borrower’s credit utilization ratio or the amount of available credit used. So if you have card with a $6000 credit limit and you use $3,000, you have a 50% utilization ratio. Industries within Finance and Insurance sector are defined in terms of activities for which a production process can be specified, and many of these activities are not exclusive to a particular type of financial institution. To deal with the varied activities taking place within existing financial institutions, the approach is to split these institutions into components performing specialized services. This requires defining the units engaged in providing those services and developing procedures that allow for their delineation. These units are the equivalents for finance and insurance of the establishments defined for other industries.

By Molly Trotter/KTVL.COMGRANTS PASS, Ore. -- A father and son argument quickly got out of hand with weapons sending both of them to Three Rivers Hospital. On Saturday night, Grants Pass Police were called to a fight that broke out on Ishman street. Listening is a more natural way of learning, when compared to reading. Written language only began at around 3200 BC, but spoken language has existed long ago.
Learning by listening is a great way to:
- increases imagination and understanding
- improves your listening skills
- improves your own spoken accent
- learn while on the move
- reduce eye strain
Now learn the vast amount of general knowledge available on Wikipedia through audio (audio article). You could even learn subconsciously by playing the audio while you are sleeping! SUMMARY
=======
German Americans (German: Deutschamerikaner) are Americans who have full or partial German ancestry. With an estimated size of approximately 44 million in 2016, German Americans are the largest of the self-reported ancestry groups by the US Census Bureau in its American Community Survey. German-Americans account for about one third of the total ethnic German population in the world.None of the German states had American colonies. In the 1670s, the first significant groups of German immigrants arrived in the British colonies, settling primarily in Pennsylvania, New York, and Virginia. Immigration continued in very large numbers during the 19th century, with eight million arrivals from Germany. Between 1820 and 1870 over seven and a half million German immigrants came to the United States. By 2010, their population grew to 49.8 million German Americans, reflecting a jump of 6 million people since 2000.
There is a German belt that extends all the way across the United States, from eastern Pennsylvania to the Oregon coast. Pennsylvania has the largest population of German-Americans in the U.S. and is home to one of the group's original settlements, Germantown (Philadelphia), founded in 1683 and the birthplace of the American antislavery movement in 1688, as well as the revolutionary Battle of Germantown. The state of Pennsylvania has 3.5 million people of German ancestry.
They were pulled by the attractions of land and religious freedom, and pushed out of Germany by shortages of land and religious or political oppression. Many arrived seeking religious or political freedom, others for economic opportunities greater than those in Europe, and others for the chance to start fresh in the New World. The arrivals before 1850 were mostly farmers who sought out the most productive land, where their intensive farming techniques would pay off. After 1840, many came to cities, where Germania—German-speaking districts—soon emerged.German Americans established the first kindergartens in the United States, introduced the Christmas tree tradition, and introduced popular foods such as hot dogs and hamburgers to America. The great majority of people with some German ancestry have become Am ...

Oregon History 101—“The 1960s Came to Oregon… and Never Left”
Presented by Dr. Steven Johnson and Dr. Marisa Chappell
Recorded on April 6, 2015
McMenamins Kennedy School, Portland, Oregon
The social movements of the 1960s and 1970s transformed Oregon, just as they transformed the nation. Joining together to protest racial, gender, and sexual discrimination and to address environmental degradation, Oregonians engaged in a “civic reconstruction” which succeeded in reshaping the state’s politics, economy, and society. Steven Johnson will chronicle the unprecedented civic activism around environmental issues, and Marisa Chappell will trace movements for social justice in this era of heightened political and civic engagement. Both stories offer lessons for confronting today’s challenges.
Many of the images prepared by the speakers for Oregon 101 presentations are copyrighted by institutions other than the Oregon Historical Society. The Oregon Historical Society may not make those images available on the Web, so the PowerPoints have been excluded from the videos.

Zach Hambrick on Psychometrics and the Science of Expertise
MSU Psychology Professor Zach Hambrick joins Corey and Steve to discuss general cognitive ability, the science of personnel selection, and research on the development of skills and expertise. Is IQ really the single best predictor of job performance? Corey questions whether g is the best predictor across all fields and whether its utility declines at a certain skill level. What does the experience of the US military tell us about talent selection? Is the 10,000 hour rule for skill development valid? What happened to the guy who tried to make himself into a professional golfer through 10,000 hours of golf practice?

Listening is a more natural way of learning, when compared to reading. Written language only began at around 3200 BC, but spoken language has existed long ago.
Learning by listening is a great way to:
- increases imagination and understanding
- improves your listening skills
- improves your own spoken accent
- learn while on the move
- reduce eye strain
Now learn the vast amount of general knowledge available on Wikipedia through audio (audio article). You could even learn subconsciously by playing the audio while you are sleeping! If you are planning to listen a lot, you could try using a bone conduction headphone, or a standard speaker instead of an earphone.
