An escapist style weekend, Lighthouse beach or known as Sugarloaf Point is one of our favourite weekend destinations. Just 4 hours from Sydney, we packed the bags Friday night after finishing our corporate city jobs to head away, waking up Saturday morning to fun little waves all to ourselves. Sure beats the Sydney surf lineup!

A Road Trip to Seal Rocks, Australia
Seal Rocks appears to be a perfect place for family getaway. Getting there by our Nissan X-TRAIL. Beautiful beach and forest roads, fresh air and tranquility. We would definitely recommend you to visit this gorgeous place.

Lighthouse Rock Fishing For Yellow-Fin Bream Australia
G'day Viewers,
Thought I would do something a little different and make a video on some fishing. I fish the rocks by an old lighthouse for Yellow-fin Bream a fair bit and have been learning a lot. Bream are a great source of food, and easy enough to catch with a little trial and error. The weather was nice today and ended up with a couple of fish to throw in the freezer. Good times.
Just using cheap gear, an Ugly Stik combo and some cooked prawn as bait. Early morning, high tide off a rock ledge with a drop off and a bit of swell.
I bought myself a new GoPro 7 camera and the footage turned out pretty good. Should be heaps useful for filming more in the future.

Sugarloaf Point Lighthouse - Seal Rocks
After a great flight at Fingal Island this morning my wife suggested we check out another lighthouse. Over 2 hours later we arrived at Seal Rocks. What a beautiful location. The lighthouse at Sugarloaf Point is stunning as is the surrounding location. If you haven't visited this area of the NSW coast make plans to get there ASAP. It turned out to be a rather long day but definitely worth it. I hope the video shows a bit of the spectacular scenery.
