Seward Alaska Waterfront RV Park Tour
America has over 13,000 RV parks and of all of those, few, if any can match the breathtaking beauty that the Seward Waterfront RV Park offers. From the RV Park we saw whales, seals, otters, bald eagles and more! Multiple cruise ships gracefully cruised past during our stay as well. The scenic RV Park is conveniently situated within an easy walk of the shopping, dining and entertainment options of the Seward Boat Harbor and downtown Seward. The RV Park directly abuts a high quality community playground, also on the waterfront. Water and electricity hook-ups are $40 without water and electricity is $20. The RV Park offers fairly clean bathrooms including showers that stay open until 10:00pm and cost $2 extra. I wish the Seward Waterfront RV Park had a dumping facility on the lot, but the 1 minute drive to the facility down the road wasn’t really an issue. If you’re planning a trip to Alaska and taking an RV or willing to tent camp, then this RV Park is a must visit.
If you enjoyed this Seward Waterfront RV Park tour, then make sure to give it a thumbs up, share and post a comment below!

RVing to Alaska | Roadschool Fieldtrip | Seward Sealife Center | Seward Alaska
Staying in Seward was a different experience than the rest of Alaska that we've been in so far. We've been in the forests and mountains and now we finally made it to the ocean. Our friends Nathan and Marissa saved us a spot next to them at an awesome campground right on the beach. It's funny that we'd call it an awesome campground. It was really just a gravel parking lot without any hookups. We've gotten really used to not having hookups and we do okay with that. The awesome part of this campground was the ocean. There were always otters floating around right in front of our RV. There was a walking trail down to the marina and a playground close by.
To the other side of us was the Sea Life Center. It was on our reciprocal AZA membership so we were able to get in half price. We spent the entire morning there, went home for a late lunch and then went back to see the animals some more.
The octopus was crawling across his tank, sea birds were splashing, puffins diving and sea lions and otters were putting on a good show. The kids loved it and could have stayed until closing if we let them.
We really missed out on most of Seward because we had such a good time on the beach. The boys all earned their Kenai Fjords Jr. Ranger badges, watched the ships come in and saw people clean their catches, and played on the beach. We all agreed, Seward was a great stop.
Thanks for visiting our channel, we're the Boudreaux's! We are an adventurous family of 7 who decided to sell our house and quit our jobs to tour this great country. We are an eclectic mix of chaos and fun. Dad, mom, big sister, and blended bunch of boys traveling, learning and enjoying life. Our plan is to visit and paddle board in all 50 states! Please give us a thumbs up, and subscribe to our channel.

The Drive to Kenai Peninsula from Anchorage: Seward Highway, Turnagain Arm
Luv 2 Drivelapse? - Like for updates & great travel ideas
This is one of the most beautiful drives you can imagine. From the south end of Anchorage, head across Potter Marsh towards the edge of Turnagain Arm, and ride for miles with an amazing view of mountains and water ahead of, and beside of you. The drive continues onto the Kenai Peninsula. It ends at the junction with Route 9 and Sterling Highway at Tern Lake.

Kerry Park (Seattle)
Kerry Park is a small public park and viewpoint on the south slope of Queen Anne Hill in Seattle, Washington, United States. It overlooks Downtown Seattle and is located along West Highland Drive between 2nd Avenue West and 3rd Avenue West. The park's view is considered to be the most iconic view of the city skyline, with the prominent Space Needle at the center, Elliott Bay to the west, and Mount Rainier in the background.
The park encompasses 1.26 acres (0.51 ha) and includes a railing and several benches facing south towards the skyline. A stairway on the west end of the park connects below to West Prospect Street and the Bayview-Kinnear Park, which has a small playground. Kerry Park is named after the couple lumberman and business magnate Albert S. Kerry and his wife Catherine. They lived nearby, and donated the land to the city in 1927 so that all who stop here may enjoy [its] view.
At the center of Kerry Park is Changing Form, a steel sculpture by artist Doris Totten Chase that stands 15 feet (4.6 m) high and was installed in 1971 with donations from Kerry's children. The sculpture is hollow and is popular as a play area for children and as a framing device for photographers. That view from Kerry Park encompasses downtown Seattle, Elliott Bay, the West Seattle peninsula, Bainbridge Island, and Mount Rainier.
The park is sometimes incorrectly referred to by local denizens as Highland Park, a reference to Highland Drive, which runs east–west across Queen Anne Hill.
The view from the park is often used as the backdrop for television news segments on Seattle, as well as other media depictions of the city. Kerry Park was also featured in the opening credits of the 1999 film 10 Things I Hate About You, and in Frasier as the view from the titular character's apartment.

[English: Google Translator]
What makes this city attractive it is by far the adobe building. Government offices as well as hotels, restaurants, the city is mostly built with adobe building without a will here. Adobe is the original that was used to build the regional Native house called 'bricks made of clay. Arid desert climate because of the high altitude of more than 2,000m above sea level eda using the ancient Indians soil in this region do not have a tree, build a house that was the beginning of the immediately initiated Adobe. In the Santa Fe adobe style or it should not do within the building permit. So this place is the parking station, as well as trash and even fast food restaurants and even a adobe style.

STARTING OUR JOURNEY TO ALASKA | HOW MUCH CAN YOU SEE IN 3 DAYS | WALMART CAMPING S2 | Ep17
Season 2 is here! We leave Maine and stay at our first Walmart in New York. With a good parking lot experience under our belt, we continue to stay at Walmarts for the next 2 nights.
Our first full day of travel, we detour a bit to see Niagara Falls and decide it is the perfect opportunity to use our passports for the first time and check out the Canadian side as well! Though we had read everywhere that we could bike across the Rainbow Bridge, the process was a bit more difficult than explained. We had to bike over the bridge with traffic, sit in traffic as a car and go through the boarder with vehicles. It was a bit more dangerous than we thought it would be, so we wouldn’t recommend it with children. After seeing the falls from the other side, we were still so glad we crossed the bridge to check it out!
Because we were flexible and had such a great time at Niagara, we called Grand Design last minute as we were driving by and asked if we could see the property. Justin met us as we got there and gave us a wonderful tour of the facilities where our home was made. They had our exact model on the line that day, and we couldn’t be happier with the company we went with. Grand Design builds quality RVs and they stand behind their product. NOTE: this is not an ad and we are not working with Grand Design. Our spontaneity paid off and we are so glad we made the extra stops along the way.
Day three gets us to our first real destination that we had been looking forward to for almost a year: Mount Rushmore. We got there in the afternoon and had no idea about the night program offered. The mountain is lit up at night and a ranger gives a wonderful speech regarding the mountain as well as shows a movie about how the sculpture was created. The night ended with a moving ceremony honoring all past and present military. Corey was privileged to be one of the vets to lower the flag at the base of Rushmore.
We packed a whole lot into 3 days and still have much more to share with you before we arrive at the ranch in Wyoming where we will be volunteering! Stay tuned for the continuation of our trip across the US!

BOTTOMED Out VAN on ALASKA RV Road Trip & Cell Problems in Canada
On my Alaska RV road trip, I bottomed out the RV in a construction zone in Alberta, Canada and scraped the eguard I have installed under the engine compartment to help protect the under hood generator aka 2nd alternator. That was just one day into my Alaska road trip when I bottomed out the van. I knew RVing to Alaska could be challenging - and well I bottomed out, I had cell phone issues in Canada, cracked the windshield on Alaska road trip. Also out all of this, I need to balance work and travel as a digital nomad while RVing to Alaska in my camper van. I was a bit frustrated, but there is a silver-lining in everything.
