Shark Cage Dive with Calypso Star Charters in the Neptune Islands, Port Lincoln, South Australia. We spent a day with two Great White Sharks(3.5 meters and 4.5 meters aprox). Some of clips were provided by my diving buddy Mia.

This video shows the entire Shark Cage Diving Process, including an interview with the Skipper Andrew Wright who talks about the safety innovations for divers and sharks.
I thorughly enjoyed this day out! You'll see how robust the cage for divers is, plus see how sharks are lured to the boat. On this trip, you get a breathing apparatus so you can stay down in the cage for longer (say around 40 minutes) which is different to other countries where you have to submerge when the shark operators tell you. You can also take/hire Go Pros to take some great footage. There are about 8 people in the cage per session.

Great White Shark Cage Diving in Australia
Great White Shark cage diving was indeed a highlight of my entire year I spent in Australia. Great White Sharks are fascinating to me and I feel very fortunate that I was able to do this dive and that this dive was a success. The experience was booked through Calypso Star Charters in Port Lincoln, South Australia and the dive itself took place near the Neptune Islands (a 3 hour boat ride from Port Lincoln). The best time to go cage diving with Great White Sharks in this part of the world is from May to July - I went in July of 2016.

Great White Shark Cage Diving Gone Wrong in Port Lincoln South Australia
This is a video after my shark cage diving in Australia Porft Lincoln. The first footage is from my angle. I couldn't film it properly because the shark was coming towards me! I thought I was going to die. My friend Ryan Wexler filmed the sharks attack to the cage from a different angle. So you can see how the shark eats the bait and bumps intoo the cage while I was trying to save my life.Just imagine if the shark got stuck in the lower and also the larger gap. It is definitely the best experience in my life

This is something I’ve always wanted to do, I was told a week before I flew over to south Australia that they hadn’t seen any great whites in weeks - so I was half expecting to see nothing.
I was very lucky and got to see 4 different great whites - what an animal. Well worth it.
