68 days ago, we rented a campervan in Cairns and set off on a 2 and a half month road trip around Australia. Now we are nearly at the end! It’s a heck of a long way (20,000 km!!) but these videos will show what we got up to on the road!

Today we spent some of the day on one of the strangest beaches I have ever been on - Shell Beach. Purely made up of billions of cockle shells it was a weird (and uncomfortable) sight.

????繼上次去了無敵海灘之後，接下來我們前往Monkey Mia，這裡沒有猴子但有海豚????????每當固定時間這些小海豚都會來Monkey Mia鯊魚灣，進來需要門票約AUD24，導覽員會解說用餵食的方式，可以近距離看到可愛海豚，還會跟大家互動超可愛。

????Shell Beach很特別的是這裡的海灘全是貝殼????但要呼籲大家不能帶走唷！屬於大自然的東西都不能✖️一定要很老套的排一下貝殼字拍照留念的啊～～～在這片寧靜的海坐著也是一種享受????????????

????Kalbarri National Park世界之窗國家公園，入場費隨緣投入信箱，一眼望去就是非常壯觀的自然景觀，需要走一段路才會到達世界之窗的拍攝地，不得不說這裡真的超酷，只是蒼蠅多到爆????????♂????????♂????????♂

????回到露營區經過了粉紅湖，有人說是因為鹽份太高，也有人說是不同的藻類形成了粉紅色的湖水非常壯觀～～～一整片的第一次看到真的很特別，尤其是我們傍晚去整個天空橘色加上粉紅色OMG太美了啦！！！

Shell Beach (Shark Bay, Western Australia)
Approx 900 Klms North of Perth, Western Australia, is a 60km long stretch of beach which is covered with billions of tiny coquina bivalve shells to a depth of 7-10 metres. The high water salinity in the area has resulted in the proliferation of this particular species, while many other species are not. Its predators do not cope well in this environment.

Shell Beach is a beach in the Shark Bay region of Western Australia, located 45 km (28 mi) south-east of Denham.
Situated on the northeastern side of the Taillefer Isthmus along the L'Haridon Bight, the beach is covered with shells for a 60 km (37 mi) stretch to a depth of 7–10 m (23–33 ft). It is one of only two beaches in the world made entirely from shells.
The beach was named because of the great abundance of the shells of the cockle species Fragum erugatum. The seawater in the L'Haridon Bight has a high salinity due to both the geomorphology and local climate of the area. This high salinity has allowed the cockle to proliferate unchecked, since its natural predators have not adapted well to this environment.
The shells have formed a limestone that is known as coquina. Before Shark Bay became a World Heritage Site, the coquina was mined and used for the construction of a number of buildings in Denham.

This week we are leaving beautiful Shark Bay and heading for Carnarvon. We drop in a explore the BEAUTIFUL Francis Peron Homestead and Hot Tub as well as the STUNNING Shell Beach (and nearly die from the amount of flies we face!) and we soak up the million year old history of the Hamelin Pool Stromalites. Heads up guys, this is an episode NOT to be missed. The drone footage is A-Grade and the location are beautiful.
