enjoying a great day at the beach on sherwood state park in ct. this beach is awesome it has no waves lol. you can swim without worrying about rip currents. you can barbecue and the beach has trees so you can barbecue nicely with out worrying about getting sun baked.

having fun at beach in Sherwood island state park in CT. great beach in Connecticut where you can barbecue and the beach is waveless because of long island ny. so o nthis beach you dont have to worry about being swept by rip currents because there is no waves and the water is nice and still. i can truly say i feel safe swimming on this beach i almost died in Jones beach in long island ny got swept by a rip current. so if you want to be nice and safe go to this beach instead. ct beaches are a lot safer than NY beaches.

WINTER BEACH RUN - SHERWOOD ISLAND CONNECTICUT
Going for my first run in Connecticut: my brother-in-law suggested that I go for a winter run along the beach. This is probably the first time I've run on the beach against the Atlantic Ocean in about twenty years.
This run was at Sherwood Island Park in Connecticut. It's a large park with a lot of beach front. There's tons of places for cookouts and picnics. And there's a disc golf course.
The views on this particular day were of Long Island Sound, the part of the Atlantic Ocean between Connecticut to the north and Long Island to the south. The sky and clouds were magnificent and the temps were in the 40s. But it was windy. So windy. A tough day for a run.
