Our friends came to visit us in Tokyo, and it was the best two weeks ever! They've never experienced Asia so was great to show them around, they had all the firsts.

First time in 7/11, vending machine experience, eating at Japanese bakeries, Takeshita Street in Harajuku, picnic in Yoyogi Park, crossing the Famous Shibuya crossing and having proper udon!

We had a lot to catch up on since we hadn't seen them for a year and a half when we left London for travelling so a lot of drinking and eating had been done! Hope you enjoyed it! There's a few more Japan vlogs coming up :)

A drive in real time to Tateshina, over the Venus lake, by route 152 and the Venus line. Top at 1600 m, in Nagano prefecture, Japan. Taken in August 2015 with a Lumix GF5, 14-42 objective and wide angle mount-on lens (x0.7). Car is a Pleo Nesta R1, Subaru.

Kyoto Presents : Field Trip Day

We were honored to host the Pleasant Shore Elementary school of Second life for their class trip: Discovering Japan. They asked fabulous questions and displayed a curiosity that was both attentive to detail as well as inspiring. The teacher and the students were pure treasures to entertain and meet.
