The Shoalwater Islands Marine Park is a protected marine park located in Western Australia and stretches from the northern point of the Garden Island Causeway to the southern point of Becher Point. You can spend 85 dollars see dolphins visit seals then go to penguin island which is covered in all sorts of birds. unfortunately no penguins all out fishing . I would definitely spend my own money to do this again I enjoyed the whole trip.

Dolphins & Seals of Shoalwater Marine Park. Western Australia
A short paddle on my SUP over to Seal Island to visit the Australian Sea Lions.
Seal island is one of the many limestone islands that make up the Shoalwater Marine Park. The Park is well known for its abundance of wildlife.
On the paddle back I was joined by a pod of bottle nose Dolphins. Notice the dolphin with the stingray. The Dolphins will search for a large stingray and follow behind to pick off and fish as they try to escape.

Shaw's Cowfish at Shoalwater Marine Park, Rockingham
This cowfish was about the size of a football, the biggest I have yet seen. The patterining is just stunning. About midway you can hear me yell leatherjacket!, well, leatherjackets are similar to cowfish.

Penguin Island is the largest of the islands in the Shoalwater Islands Marine Park and is heavily promoted as being one of the best tourist attractions in the City of Rockingham.

Snorkeling in Australia: Exploring Shoalwater Islands Marine Park (2019)
On the weekend we went snorkeling to explore the Shoalwater Island Marine Park underwater. Snorkeling is one of my favourite hobbies since I can just drift in the water for hours. It is a completely different world underneath the surface where you can see so many different plants, corals, fish and all sorts of other life forms. When being in the water I feel so light, free and at peace.
Every time we go snorkeling we do our best remove all sorts of rubbish we can find underwater, such as any plastic, empty bottles and fish hooks people just leave behind after cutting their lines.

ISLAND EXPLORING | SEAL and PENGUIN ISLAND | WESTERN AUSTRALIA Ep 43
On Christmas Eve of 2018, Nathan and I (Glenn) headed down the local beach in the southern suburbs of Perth for a swim and to fly the drone over both Seal & Penguin Islands in the bays of Shoalwater. An amazing day with the temp reaching 35 degrees.
The islands are a very popular destination for the locals of Rockingham and Shoalwater for swimming, fishing, snorkelling, boating, windsurfing and walking along the beautiful coastline.
