Bangkok Food Paradise at Silom Soi 10 Food Court (ศูนย์อาหาร สีลมซอย 10) - Bangkok Day 6
2 Weeks In Bangkok travel guide (it’s FREE):
T-shirts available now:
On Day 6 of this Bangkok food and travel video guide series we got a bit of a late morning start, and from our hotel we headed straight to Silom Soi 10 Food Court (ศูนย์อาหาร สีลมซอย 10) for lunch. After that we went to the Bangkok Snake Farm to see a snake show, and then had a coffee. For dinner we ate at Niyom Restaurant (ร้านนิยม) and to end the day we went to Asiatique The Riverfront - a big night market entertainment area.
00:55 Silom Soi 10 Food Court (ศูนย์อาหาร สีลมซอย 10) - If you’re ever in the Silom area of Bangkok during lunch on the weekdays, one of my favorite places to get some Thai street food is the Silom Soi 10 Food Court (ศูนย์อาหาร สีลมซอย 10). You just walk into the lane, and it will open up into a giant market. Just walk through all the clothes, and soon you’ll find yourself in a wonderland of food - just about all Thai street food that you can imagine and more is available at this office food court in Bangkok. I decided to start with a plate of yam mama (ยำม่าม่า), which is instant noodle salad. I’ll first tell you that this is not a dish I’d normally eat, but the stall at this market is extremely famous, so had to give it a try. It was alright, but definitely Thai instant noodles. I then had a plate of khao man gai (ข้าวมันไก่), which is the Thai version of chicken rice. I liked how you could add as many chilies and ginger and sauce to your plate of chicken rice. Overall good, but chicken rice is what it is. I felt like I need some flavor though, so Ying bought me a bowl of khao soi gai (ข้าวซอยไก่) chicken curry noodles, and it was a great way to end the lunch here at this amazing Bangkok food court. If you go, you have so many choices of what to eat.
9:41 Lumpini Park (สวนลุมพินี) - Located in Silom, Lumpini Park (สวนลุมพินี) is the central park of Bangkok. I didn’t really have plans to go, but since we had some extra time before the snake park show started, we walked around for a while. It’s a park that’s well worth visiting when you’re in Bangkok. A great place to walk around and get some exercise.
10:36 Bangkok Snake Farm (สถานเสาวภา) - Located at the Thai Red Cross Society, Bangkok Snake Farm (สถานเสาวภา) offers a snake demonstration at 2 pm, and we got there just in time for the snake show. One of the reasons it’s such a good show for me is because it’s very educational. The snake show is not just for the show, but since at the facility they create anti-venoms, they teach a lot about snakes, and have a real respect for snakes. It’s a pretty cool snake show, and I think it’s well worth a visit when you’re in Bangkok (the Bangkok Snake Farm is featured in the 101 Things To Do In Bangkok eBook:
13:31 Niyom Restaurant (ร้านนิยม) - For dinner we went to a restaurant at Silom Plaza called Niyom Restaurant (ร้านนิยม) that specializes in Chinese Teochew food. Along with a bunch of other good, but on the plain side dishes, my favorite dish of the night was moo dom (หมูต้ม), boiled pork served with a fermented bean sauce and chilies and ginger.
18:47 Asiatique The Riverfront - One of the main Bangkok night markets is Asiatique The Riverfront, and the easiest way to get there is to take the BTS skytrain to Saphan Taksin, and from there they have a free shuttle boat that will take you directly to Asiatique The Riverfront. The market is very modern, and includes a mix of store, souvenir shops, and restaurant, and places just to hang out. It’s a huge Bangkok tourist attraction, but it’s a pleasant place to walk around in the evening. We didn’t really do much, and then headed back to our hotel.
Thank you for watching this Bangkok travel guide video - Day 6.

This Is The Best Local Bangkok Night Market | Unique Street Food Thailand | ????????
Americans and Thais take you along as we explore where we think is the best local Bangkok night market. Crowded with Thai locals, amazing affordable Thai street food, and great cheap shopping !! Do this if you are ever in Bangkok. It's worth it!
This is a really exciting night market near Esplanade Mall. Affordable apparels, IT accessories, food and footwear sold here. Lots of seafood stalls selling delicious seafood dishes. Plenty of international dishes like Taiwan beef cubes and japan's sashimi. There are also plenty of pubs and bars to chill at.
The new Rot Fai Market in the Ratchada area of Bangkok is bringing the same convivial night bazaar feel, antiques curios, and street food snacks and treats from its original location, into an area of the city that is much easier to access thanks to the nearby Cultural Centre MRT Underground Station. Although the Srinakarin branch is much larger, it is also way out in the suburbs of Bangkok, making it challenging for people who find themselves on the other side of the city. This new Train Market is more central and compact, meaning it’s easier to pop in for a spot of browsing anytime from 18:00 to 24:00, Thursday to Sunday.

Thailand, Bangkok: Walking around Pat Pong Nightmarket in Silom
After recently cleaning up its act, Patpong's become one of the 'must' night shopping destinations for avid shoppers. Found in the built-up area known as Silom, the place is always busy and chaotic with all the commotion from the Go-Go bars nearby and lots of foreign tourists. This market in Bangkok's notorious nightlife district is often the first and easiest stop for many tourists just arriving to Bangkok, whilst lodging at one of several mid-to-upper-end hotels in Silom.
Be warned though, the quality and prices of most items sold are about as real and trustworthy as the girls shaking their wares in go-go bars flanking the area. Both market and go-go bars seem to complement each other well, but remember not to be fooled by first impressions, and to bargain hard.
Bangkok Night Market / Silom /Patpong
silom , A street that emerges every night at Patpong Street.
Sell souvenirs, clothes, accessories, various copy products, etc.
There are many suspicious things compared with the market which Thai people usually use. Usually Thai people do not use.
The price is high. Let's negotiate discount negotiations. Let's enjoy these interactions.
At 1 am we start dismantling the stalls and at 2 am we will finish all the withdrawal work.
It is a brilliant work. The withdrawal work is worth a visit!
