Visiting The Oldest Bar In Las Vegas | Las Vegas VLOG
Join me on my journey to Las Vegas as I will take you through hotel bars, robots making cocktails called the Tipsy robot and makes a Darth Vader cocktail, New York New York rollercoaster, Delano Skyfall lounge and the pinnacle for me Atomic Liquors. Sit back and enjoy.
Visiting the oldest freestanding bar in Las Vegas it can be none other than Atomic Liquors which opened in 1945 as Virginia's Cafe before changing to a bar in 1952 to its current name Atomic Liqours.
Joe and Stella Sobchik founded the cafe before turning into a bar as Joe got fed up of cooking and Atomic Liqours would take off in the 1950's as nuclear testing was approved in the state of Nevada and carried out the tests 50 miles north of Las Vegas. To celebrate this they created atomic cocktails as the locals would grab these cocktails and climb on to the roof of Atomic Liquors to watch the nuclear testing 50 miles away and watch the mushroom clouds form completely unaware of the dangers of radiation back then.
Joe created the famous A-bomb cocktail and Atomic Liquors drew in some famous names in its prime such as Frank Sinatra and the rat pack and can you spot the seat in the bar where Barbra Streisand use to sit?
The bar closed in 2011 and was sold to local businessmen who have restored to look it originally did in it's heyday in 1950's and 60's.
I tried the F-Bomb drink which is homage to its past and is a very fiery drink, I would highly recommend a visit if you ever have a chance to drink at such an historic bar which has a place ni the history of Las Vegas itself.
Any cocktails, mocktails, frozen drinks, beers and reviews you want me to make just let me know in the comments below or on social media in the description below.

Las Vegas! Vegas, Baby! With a weekend to explore Las Vegas we arrived hitting the ground running wanting to pack in as much as we possibly could over a short period of time. Nigh life, music, gambling, entertainment, dancing, walking the Strip and shows in the evening. Driving luxury cars, helicopter tours, exploring the Grand Canyon and marveling at Red Rock Canyon by day. Las Vegas was full of surprises. The following is a Las Vegas travel guide to experience the most out of your vacation to Sin City. It is the best things to do on Las Vegas Strip along with day excursions outside of the city limits. As they say, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.
So we aren't in Canada no more! This weekend we actually escaped to Las Vegas so we are going to be spending three days just enjoying winter in the desert and doing cool stuff. And today we're walking down the strip and we're going to show you some of the sights. And the best part - no winter parka right now.
Enough walking for a while. I'm starving. Let's get some dinner. We're going to Shake Shack.
Tell, me. Tell, me! You know what? Nobody does fast food like Americans. They've got it down to a science. It's absolutely unhealthy but so delicious.
We're going to head back to the hotel and get ready for a show. We're going to be seeing the Michael Jackson Show at the Mandalay Bay but unfortunately we can't bring any cameras in there so we won' t be able to show you that but maybe after the show we'll hit the town again and show you the sights. Not maybe! Definitely!
It is so sad to be leaving but it is our last night in Las Vegas so we're going to go out and try and see as much as we can this evening. Let's go wild. Let's gamble.
It is never ending. The lights. The noise. The ding ding ding ding. This is what a casino sounds like twenty-four seven. We see people gambling here at like five in the morning when we get up for breakfast.
What would a trip to Vegas be like without a little gambling? Sam, even looks like an old gambler today with that hat. Oh, I do. Guess what? We're such cheapskates we're playing with pennies. We're going to the penny machine. They don't even have pennies in Canada anymore, so let's use these American pennies up.
Shiver me timbers. I'm playing a pirate game. I'm going to win me some money.
Tell us? Alright, I was a pretty lousy pirate, so I'm going to try my luck with this Owl game. Hoot! Hoot!
Ding ding ding ding ding. Being the supreme cheapskate that I am I'm cutting my loses after two dollars.
So we're here at the Bellagio for the water show. And they have a lot of frequent shows in the evening so we're just waiting for it to start.
So we are now at the Cosmopolitan and we are visiting one of the coolest bars in all of Las Vegas. This behind me is the Chandelier.
This is part of our Travel in the United States series. We're making a series of videos showcasing American culture, American arts, American foods, American religion, American cuisine and American people.

My Zero Alcohol Challenge in Las Vegas
Is it possible to go 100% alcohol-free in Sin City? Surrounded by casinos, bars, and partying here in Las Vegas, I am issuing a challenge to myself which starts today: to see how long I can go without taking a single sip of any alcoholic beverage.
How will I feel? Will I experience any withdrawal symptoms, will I sleep better, will my mood be better or worse, and how long can I last? I am what I would consider a regular drinker, having at least one glass of wine every single day, a few beers from time to time and a shot or two when the occasion calls for it.
But after a late night out on Friday, a late sleep-in session and not feeling so great the next morning when I need to be out driving to make money, I am motivated to see how I'll feel going completely alcohol free. (And although recreational marijuana recently became legal here in Nevada, no, I don't do any marijuana products. I don't have anything against it or those that do, but it affects my mood in a negative way so I haven't had any in many years). So I will be living here in Las Vegas, completely sober 100% of the time. At least for now!
BigfootFanTV: Monster Jam World Finals 13 Las Vegas, NV 2012 (Part 5)
We head out to sin city Las Vegas, NV for Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam World Finals 13, the biggest monster truck event in the world. 24 of the greatest monster trucks and drivers battling it out for there rightfull place as the world racing champion and world freestyle champion. The whole night was action packed with wild moments, crashes, and wow factors. The big story of the night was the move everyone was expecting, the backflips. There were definately alot more backflips then last year, even from people you wouldn't expect would do it. Tom Meents in Maximum Destruction would win racing and become a history making 10 time world champion. Then in freestyle, Cam McQueen in Northern Nightmare went bigger then he has ever gone before putting on his greatest freestyle ever with moves like an end over end front flip, a backflip, and blowing his transmission at the end winning the freestyle championship with a score of 38. But the no doubt move of the night came from George Balhan driving Mohawk Warrior by performing 2 backflips in a row, setting the stage for a chance of 3 backflips in a row. After all the competition was set and done it was time for the special Grave Digger 30th anniversay encore, with all the Grave Digger basically destroying the shit out of eachother. Definately the greatest monster truck show i've ever been to so far in my whole life!

TOP Things to Do in DOWNTOWN LAS VEGAS: Art, Food, Fremont Street and more!
Las Vegas has more to offer than just the Strip. The historic arts district of Downtown Las Vegas is packed with reasons to visit and spend a weekend here. From vintage Retro shops and local coffee to insanely delicious local food fare, the scene here is something that everyone should check out when visiting Sin City.
Working with Travel Nevada we took the trip to see what this place has to offer and it did not disappoint! Throughout the weekend we hit up spots like Retro Vegas, the Downtown Arts District, Esthers Kitchen, Rebar, and Makers and Finders Coffee. The people, the culture, the food and the community make Downtown Las Vegas a spot that we will certainly be on the top of my travel list.

Dan Schwartz Interview - Nevada Treasurer, Candidate For Governor On Las Vegas Oakland Raiders Deal
#Zennie62 Dan Schwartz Interview - Nevada Treasurer, Candidate For Governor On Las Vegas Oakland Raiders Deal
Dan Schwartz is the sitting Nevada Treasurer, having served in that capacity since 2015. The former Marine has threw his hat into the ring to run as a GOP candidate for Governor, seeking to replace the termed out Brian Sandoval.
In this interview, we talked about what the Nevada Treasurer does, his objections to the deal that was crafted to bring the NFL's Oakland Raiders to Las Vegas (though he wants the Raiders in Sin City), his work in causing Nevada to avoid financing the poorly-financed Faraday Future factory, and his concern for the troubled Nevada education system.
Among all candidates in the gubernatorial race, Mr. Schwartz is alone in wanting to actually cut the fiscal size of the Raiders deal, believing that the team should shoulder more of the monetary load in paying for its own stadium - and the public should direct that extra money to pay for education. I am not sure I can stop the funding, he said to me, but I can stop the roads, referring to the public's part of the deal where the Nevada Department of Transportation would pay for some road upgrades.
In talking about the Raiders deal, Mr. Schwartz also promised to put curbs on the culture of lobbyists and legislators working only for their pet projects via a bipartisan approach and the use of the veto pen. He wants to start with repairing the Nevada education system. In our talk, Mr. Schwartz consistently raised the question of how Nevada could allow its education system to decrease to such a poor state - he wants to fix it.
The Army Veteran and Princeton University graduate said one of his main motivations for running for Governor of Nevada was seeking the 15 lobbyists hired by Sheldon Adelson to make deals and push the Raiders Stadium project to what was a very close vote in a Republican-dominated Nevada Legislature at the time.
This version of the interview was created with a louder audio track, with better sound than the original upload.

Opera
An opera is a theatrical piece that tells a story totally through the music. It consists of recitatives which provide the narrative plot line and elaborate chorus singing, along with duets and arias, which are the parts we most remember.
We get the word opera from the Latin and, later, from the Italian, a noun formed from the word operari, to work. The style evolved in Italy around 1600, and was initially unrealistic, mainly a chance for soloists to show off. In the mid-18th Century the focus shifted to both strong story and exquisite singing. Emotion is an important quality, a trait carried over to soap operas which have no singing but plenty of fake tears.
Las Vegas
Las Vegas, in Nevada’s Mojave Desert, is a resort city famed for its vibrant nightlife, centered around 24-hour casinos and
other entertainment options. Its main street and focal point is the Strip, just over 4 miles long. This boulevard is home
to themed hotels with elaborate displays such as fountains synchronized to music as well as replicas of an Egyptian pyramid,
the Venetian Grand Canal, and the Eiffel Tower.
California
California, a western U.S. state, stretches from the Mexican border along the Pacific for nearly 900 miles. Its terrain includes cliff-lined beaches, redwood forest, the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Central Valley farmland and the Mojave Desert. The city of Los Angeles is the seat of the Hollywood entertainment industry. Hilly San Francisco is known for the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz Island and cable cars.

Giant bong and huggable soft toys at Marijuana museum
(20 Sep 2018) LEADIN:
What do a glass bong taller than a giraffe and giant huggable soft toys in the shape of marijuana buds have in common?
They are all part of Las Vegas' newest attraction: a museum celebrating all things cannabis.
STORYLINE:
The curators of the new museum, aptly named Cannibition, are ensuring everything here gets noticed.
All the exhibits are larger than life, like this enormous hand holding a marijuana 'joint'.
The colours, if not the designs, hark back to the sixties when cannabis was a part of hippy and psychedelic culture.
Nobody will be allowed to light up at Cannabition when it opens today (20 September 2018) because of a state ban on the public consumption of marijuana.
But visitors will get to learn some facts about the drug while they wonder at the exhibits.
This museum is all about social media and it is aimed at getting people to come and share their experiences on the internet.
The lights and exhibits are meant to ensure people want to take and make selfies.
The founder of the museum J.J. Walker says he aims to destigmatize marijuana use.
What is the next natural trend in cannabis? It's social cannabis. It's connecting people in a public environment. So we saw Cannibition as a great way to create this larger than life experience about cannabis and we're we're super excited about it, says Walker.
Walker believes the museum will appeal to Nevada officials who've not yet had success enticing gambling-resistant millennials to Sin City.
The museum opens to visitors 15 months after it became legal for adults in the state to buy recreational marijuana.
So far, sales are exceeding the state's projections.
Walker says: We go over the next several months, we have lots of tourists that come through here. We show that this isn't a scary business, that social cannabis can be very mainstream. We hope that by the end of the year that the city of Las Vegas allows and sets up rules around social consumption and that Cannibition becomes one of the first in the world to actually get a license to have consumption of cannabis in our facility.
Visitors can wander through rooms like seed, where people can lie down in a bed shaped like a marijuana seed.
Another installation is called: Grow. It features artificial plants in various sizes placed under bright lights, representing an indoor cannabis farm.
Photo ops are also available under a glow-in-the-dark tree, next to a giant marijuana leaf and a 24-foot-tall glass bong billed as the world's largest and dubbed Bongzilla.
From all of our research, a 24 foot bong, two stories high, that's glass and is actually smokeable, it'd be hard pressed to find another one in the world, says Walker.
This facility in Las Vegas' downtown entertainment district is not exactly the Smithsonian of marijuana, but it has some educational components.
Guests get an introduction from museum guides and some graphics on walls explain how concentrates are made and the differences between indica and sativa cannabis strains.
Jeremy Moore, the cultivation manager of the Green & Gold Supply Company, says: I think the museum, you know people that haven't gone into a dispensary, once they go to that museum they'll want to go check it out, you know?
Only adults 21 and older will be allowed in. The tour is designed to last up to an hour.
The museum has invited in a number of marijuana suppliers which its website refers to as its sponsors.

Las Vegas Strip Clubs The Best Sin City Strippers
Las Vegas Strip Clubs Offer free limo service, vip rooms, bottles, private dances and more. 702.900.6838 Las Vegas Strip Clubs, Vegas Strip clubs.
Check out our Las Vegas strip clubs Larry Flynt's Hustler Club, Little Darlings, and Deja Vu Showgirls. For the following clubs we provide free limo transportation. A 2 drink minimum is required at Larry Flynt's Hustler and Déjà Vu. At little darlings there will be a thirty-dollar cover charge because there is no alcohol being served. The non-serving of alcohol can’t be considered a downer when the girls are totally nude. In addition hookah is available at all three locations. So if you think that you would like to check out one or all of these Las Vegas strip clubs out please give us a call. 702-900-6838
“Déjà Vu Showgirls is a large national chain with the greatest company slogan - “1000's of Beautiful Girls & 3 Ugly Ones™”. And as strip club goers would expect, Sin City has one of their totally nude clubs. With lots of weekly events, gorgeous women, and a variety of special options including shower, table or couch dances, Déjà Vu Showgirls Las Vegas is one of the more popular strip clubs.
Many visitors state the club is clean and airy and boasts over one hundred dancers performing on two stages. Although the dancers are quite friendly, waitresses are very aggressive when the girls are mingling with customers. But everyone says the performers are beautiful. Drinks are presently ten dollars but they have a package for thirty dollars which includes admission and unlimited drinks. Because the girls are fully nude, drinks are non-alcoholic thus, the reason for a juice bar. Both valet and free parking are available. Complimentary van or limo service is offered to customers staying at area hotels.
Déjà Vu Showgirls is really big on events, with specials on almost every night of the week.
Sundays are pretty popular as the girls get down and dirty in the nude oil wrestling contests. All slippery, and driven to win the badge, the girls are passionate about these wrestling matches. To make things even spicier for the guests, hookah and VIP rooms are offered.
Mondays are the free Hookah Nights where anyone buying a booth enjoys hookah on the club.
Tuesdays are good value with two-for-one dances. Theme room dances make the visit more exciting.
Wednesday nights are best for female customers as admission is free and five dollars buys all-you-can-drink. At ten PM, the club promotes a Ladies Night and Amateur Contest where ladies enter and are eligible to win cash prizes.
Fridays and Saturdays seem to have a mix of entertainment specials. Two-for-one dances, “G-SPOT After Hours”, and “DJ STEVO's House Party” all contribute to the weekend party.
Interestingly, Déjà Vu Showgirls Las Vegas openly encourages customers to report cab/taxi drivers who try to persuade customers to visit other clubs. Since the club does not provide any sort of compensation to drivers, they do not expect other clubs to steal their customers (although this happens all the time). In fact, they really prefer customers call to arrange a free pickup instead of worrying about paid transportation.”

A few months ago we went to visit the incredible abandoned city called Slab City. It used to be a military base but hundreds of squatters came and made it their home. We went with our friend Justin Escalona and truly had a fascinating experience. We thought the place would be hostile and dangerous when in fact it was inviting and beautiful (in it's own way). Shout-outs to all the description readers out there you know we love you :)
