Сиурана - Siurana
Особую привлекательность Испании придают небольшие поселения, которые не так легко найти, но действительно стоит искать.
Сиурана (Siurana) — одно из них.
Она расположена в области Приорат в каталонской провинции Таррагона (Каталония). Небольшая деревня находится на высоте 730 метров и хранит воспоминания о многих событиях в истории страны. Любой снимок Сиураны — словно готовая открытка, за это ее и прозвали «Самой фотогеничной деревней Приората».
Сиурана рассказывает о своей истории каждому путешественнику — достаточно взглянуть на руины арабского дворца, построенного в IX веке — он сохранился со времен завоевания Каталонии сарацинами. Путь в центр деревни проходит по мощеным улочкам, окруженным средневековыми замками. Здесь же можно увидеть крепость, где жил губернатор — она расположена на самой высокой точке Сиураны, чтобы правитель мог видеть, что делают его подданные. А на главной улице поселения стоит церковь его покровительницы — Санта-Мария-де-Сиурана, возведенная между XII и XIII веками. Она, так же, как и большая часть построек в Сиуране, очень хорошо сохранилась благодаря уникальному расположению поселения, защищенного природным ландшафтом.
Сиурана не только красива и интересна своей историей — поездка сюда идеально подойдет любителям скалолазания и активного отдыха. Осмотреть окрестности и прогуляться можно по Старинной дороге Сиураны — тропе, которая раньше соединяла поселение с соседним — Корнуделья-де-Монсан (Cornudella de Montsant) . Дойдя до конца дороги, обернитесь — именно отсюда открывается вид на эту сказочную деревеньку. Из центра Сиураны можно спуститься по другой тропе — camino de la Trona — к скале, с которой открывается еще более живописный вид, но уже не на поселение, а на окружающий его пейзаж. По легенде, именно с этой скалы сбросилась на лошади мавританская королева Абделазия, когда армия приступила к осаде ее дворца. Успех армии также увековечен здесь — неподалеку от центра Сиурана установлен памятник в честь 800-летия Реконкисты на этой территории. Можно просто любоваться горной природой, а можно представлять себе все моменты необычной судьбы Сиураны.

В середине октября мы совершили интересное путешествие по Каталонии (Испания).
Основной целью нашей поездки был остров Менорка (Menorca), где мы на автомобиле объездили весь остров.
Так как самолет из Москвы летит в Барселону (прямых рейсов на о.Менорка нет), то мы запланировали для посещения и несколько мест в Barcelona и ее окрестностях: Monasterio de Montserrat, Roda de Bara, Siurana и Sitges.
На острове Менорка мы посетили следующие города и деревушки, бухты и пляжи, прочие достопримечательности острова (в порядке нашего движения): Son Bou (все 5 дней жили мы в отеле «Hotel Valentin Son Bou»), Mahon, Fortaleza de la Mola, Calo Blanс, Cales Coves, Cala en Porter, Cala Galdana, Cala Macaralla & Macarelleta, Cala en Turqueta, Ciutadella, Cala Morell, Cala Algaiarens, Cala Pregonda, Platges de Fornells & Fornells, Monte Toro, Macaret & Addaia, Favaritx, Es Grau, Mesquida.
Именно в таком порядке я и буду монтировать фильмы.

SIURANA - Tarragona - Spain
Siurana is a village of the municipality of the Cornudella de Montsant in the comarca of Priorat, Tarragona, Catalonia, Spain. Located just outside the Montsant region, it is just east of main town of the municipality Cornudella de Montsant and consists of a small village at the top of an escarpment in the Prades Mountains overlooking the Siurana Reservoir and is often visited by tourists to the area for its historical piquancy and its excellent views of the Embalse and surrounding valley. Cliffs around the village are popular among climbers due to the abundance of sport climbs up to the grade of 9b.

El Palauet del Priorat - an exceptional hotel - Siurana
Normally we are on our climbing trips with the Mini Van. But sometimes we make an exception and go to a hotel. Mid-January and Siurana (Spain) is enveloped by an icy fog. The weather forecast promises a small improvement in the weather only in two days and we decide for a hotel. This time we were really lucky with our selection. This beautiful hotel in Cornudella de Montsant is fantastic and unique. It is a work of art, with many stylish details. We had a wonderful day and enjoyed the night.
Thanks again to the friendly owner of the hotel, for allowing us to film our impressions.
The hotel is conveniently located between the climbing areas of #Siurana, #Montsant and Margalef.
And the price-performance ratio is also convincing. Here you get a lot of luxury for little money.
