Raging Bull front seat on-ride HD POV Six Flags Great America
This 202 foot tall B&M (Bolliger & Mabillard) hyper coaster opened in 1999, goes 73 mph and features a 208 foot drop thanks to the tunnel at the bottom of the lift hill. It's also the world's second hyper-twister coaster. Do you know which one was the first and where it's located?

Superman: The Ultimate Flight at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey. This B&M Roller Coaster will take you on the ultimate flight as you will fly up a chainlift hill at 106 feet and drop 100 feet at a maximum flight speed of 51 MPH. This video features an on ride perspective of Superman the Ultimate Flight from Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ. While this video may not have the best view as you're mostly looking at the ground below you, this is the actual ride experience.

For the first time in the park’s 42-year history, Six Flags Great America, the Thrill Capital of the Midwest, is extending its operating season and inviting guests of all ages to be a part of the festivities at the new Six Flags Holiday in the Park®. This spectacular event — making its Six Flags Great America debut — features more than one million LED lights, beautifully adorned Christmas trees, thrilling rides, enchanting shows, delicious seasonal food and dazzling park décor. Holiday in the Park will premiere on Friday, November 23 and run weekends through Sunday, December 23 and daily December 26 – December 31.

Did you know this was the last of the three Superman Ultimate Flight B&M (Bolliger & Mabillard) flying coaster clones to open? The first was the one at Six Flags Over Georgia that opened in 2002 and a year later the one at Six Flags Great Adventure opened in New Jersey, followed by this one a couple of weeks later.

Maxx Force - Six Flags Great America New for 2019 Launch Coaster
GURNEE, Ill. — August 30, 2018 — Six Flags Great America, the Thrill Capital of the Midwest, today announced a revolutionary, triple-record breaking, new roller coaster coming to the park in 2019. Maxx Force will be the fastest launch coaster in North America, and feature the fastest inversion and highest double inversion of any roller coaster in the world.
“Six Flags reigns supreme for record-breaking, one-of-a-kind rides and world-class thrills,” said Six Flags Great America Park President Hank Salemi. “The new Maxx Force coaster is in a class all by itself, launching riders from 0 to 78 miles per hour in under two seconds. No other coaster in the country accelerates at that blistering speed.”
Maxx Force highlights include:
A unique air-powered launching system propelling guests forward at record speeds;
The world’s highest double inversion at 175 feet above the ground;
The fastest inversion on any roller coaster in the world with a 60 miles-per-hour zero-G roll;
Five high-speed inversions; and
One-of-a-kind custom coaster trains modeled after Formula One racing cars
Maxx Force will be the park’s 17th roller coaster and is scheduled to debut in summer 2019 in the Carousel Plaza area of the park.

Riptide Bay Debuts at Six Flags Great America
Six Flags Great America unveils Riptide Bay at Hurricane Harbor, a massive 4-acre water park expansion. With the new addition, Hurricane Harbor will boast 20 acres and offer more slides and attractions than any other water park in the state. Riptide Bay features four new daring slides with first-of-its-kind Skybox drops. Bombs away as the floor drops out from beneath you and you free-fall five stories into Dive Bomber's loop or speed down Mega Wedgie's 80 degree plunge. Race your friends and family on twin versions. New Riptide Bay features also include the only place to surf on Lake Michigan with Surf Rider, a 5-foot-wave surfing simulator, and Monsoon Lagoon, a 14,000 square foot activity pool complete with waterfalls and interactive spray elements. Families can splash through 400 feet of enclosed tubes in Wipeout, a double-funnel raft slide, or relax in new luxury cabanas, a gift shop and tiki snack bar. Riptide Bay at Hurricane Harbor is free with park admission or season pass.
Viper front seat on-ride HD POV Six Flags Great America
This twisting wooden coaster features a layout that is a mirror image of the Coney Island Cyclone and is the only coaster to be designed and built by Six Flags. It stands 100 feet tall, goes 50 mph and offers a surprising amount of airtime for a wooden twister.
