A Visit to Slide Rock Park Near Sedona, Arizona
Watch HD clips from Slide Rock Park, named after the famous Slide Rock, a stretch of slippery creek bottom including a natural water chute. Filmed on a balmy Arizona day in April 2013, this video shows the chute as well as deeper pool areas where swimmers can jump off short cliffs into the water. The water temperature the day this was filmed was a chilly 52F, but that didn't stop most vacationers have jumping in and having fun.

Camping at Slide Rock State Park, AZ | 10K Road Trip Vlog Day 2
This is Day 2 and 3 of our 10,000 mile road trip across the US and Canada. We camped at Cave Springs, just north of Sedona, AZ and spent two fun days in Slide Rock State Park. It's cold, a little painful, and a lot fun.

Joby Gorillapod: (fantastic versatile bendy tripod – this is the slightly smaller “action” version that’s easier to travel with and comes with a mount for a camera and a gopro)
Macbook Air: (we edit everything on Final Cut Pro on a Macbook Air, which is light and easy to travel with)
External Hard Drive: (the videos are a little too big for the macbook air to handle, so I edit everything off an external hard drive)

Slide Rock State Park is an Arizona State Park located in Oak Creek Canyon 7 miles (11 km) north of Sedona, Arizona, United States. It takes its name from a natural water slide formed by the slippery bed of Oak Creek. Slide Rock State Park is located on Coconino National Forest land and is co-managed by the Arizona State Parks agency and the United States Forest Service. Tall red rock formations that are typical of the region also surround the park, which contains a 43-acre (17 ha) working apple farm.

Spring Break 2017 - Day 5: Slide Rock State Park
Day 5 of our 7 day trip our family took for Spring Break this year. We drove a loop through the southwestern United States. On this fifth day we left my parents place in Casa Grande, AZ and headed northward through Sedona to make a stop at Slide Rock State Park. From there, we went up to Lees Ferry where where we set up camp for the night.
